We walked past Farmacy's window and one of the chefs gave a friendly wave. We stopped in (had eaten there before) and prepared ourselves for a sure to be delicious meal. They have a fun frequently changing menu of small, medium and large plates so you can choose your own foodie adventure. If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

Taylor was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. Everything is made fresh daily, and if you sit at the Chef's Counter, you'll see it first hand. You'll also get great descriptions of everything from the awesome Chefs and maybe get to try something extra too. I recommend using the reservation system on their website and specify your seating preferences. You can choose from the Chef's Counter, the bar, a high-top table, a low table, or an outdoor table (weather permitting). We also appreciated them asking about food allergies on the reservation system too and they verified it when we arrived. We were so impressed with the unique menu options that are offered in the appetizers, small shareable plates, main courses, desserts, and drinks. We are already planning on coming back Sunday for brunch and know we'll be back again soon for dinner.

We've been for both lunch and dinner here and haven't been disappointed by our overall meals, but usually there's one or two things that just didn't go right. Today, we stopped in for lunch. I ordered a Caesar salad, my Nana got the crab cakes, and my Poppi order the specialty wrap, a salmon one that promptly fell apart out the bottom when he picked up the first half of the wrap. He ended up eating it with a fork and knife. My salad was well dressed and the croutons were tasty, a nice seasoned brown bread. My Nana's crab cakes were good, but she didn't care for the mixed greens they were served on. For the three of us, we paid just $40 for lunch and that included nearly an $8 tip. Our server was great, but we were literally her only table; no one else was in there when we stopped in for lunch around 11:15ish today, so it's hard to have bad service when it's just you and the waitress in the dining room. Also it can get busy here, especially for dinner or after the first round of daytime golfers finish up. So be prepared to wait if you come during those times.

We were hoping to get late morning breakfast but, missed the cutoff time so enjoyed a great lunch instead. This location of the restaurant at the golf course is huge compared to the small but very nice rustic wood bldg at their old location. Looks like you could have a heck of a party at this multi-large-room building. Many if the rooms are comfortable and give off a honey ambiance. Appears to have multiple bars as well. The chef puts a nice touch on making even a grilled chicken sandwich taste fabulous. I really don't think you can wrong here with whatever you order. Service is fast and genuinely friendly. They tend to fill up fast so call for a reservation. This is a new location from when they operated out of the previous location on Bay road in Queensbury. The new place is gorgeous, much larger, and fully equipped. That being said, don't let the fact that these are students cooking here fool you, the food they produce is high quality, fine dining meals, at reasonable prices. The meals consist of 3 courses; appetizer, entree, and desert. Everything is made fresh onsite from the bread, to the deserts. there is also a bar for those that like to have wine or a beer with their meals. The menus change every week, and are usually based on specific, regional cuisines, i.e Italian, English, Texas, etc. Much of the products they use are locally grown, however expect to see imported foods from time to time, as the students show their creativity in learning to prepare exotic meals that you won't find anywhere else in the region. I've personally had Kangaroo, wild boar, and alligator prepared by this program, and they were fantastic. It's always a great treat to see what new culinary delights the chef instructors, Matt and Megan have got the students conjuring up each week. My family and I have been fans and supporters of this program for years now, and it just keeps getting and better. At the end of the meal you will be given a comment card to give your critique on your meal, and the service of the wait staff, which is very helpful to the students. Remember this is about teaching so don't be harsh, but be honest. All in all, if you are looking for a great dining experience and excellent food, I highly recommend you give Seasoned a try.

We chose Morgan & Company to celebrate our wedding anniversary after I specifically requested a…read moregift certificate to dine there because I had been looking forward to the experience. Sadly, it ended up ruining what should have been a special evening. I began with the French onion soup. The menu described it as being served with a crouton, but what arrived was two large pieces of bread with only the thinnest drizzle of melted cheese. Anyone who enjoys classic French onion soup knows the hallmark of the dish is a generous blanket of bubbling cheese, with the bread hidden underneath. I politely mentioned this to our server, who took it back to the kitchen. What came back was astonishing. Instead of remaking the soup properly, the kitchen simply added two more pieces of bread--for a total of four slices--and again barely covered them with cheese. At that point I declined the manager's offer to make it a third time. After seeing what the kitchen considered an acceptable correction, I had completely lost confidence. For my entrée, I ordered the coconut shrimp and added the glazed spare ribs. Unfortunately, both were overwhelmed by an extremely sweet, thick, sticky glaze. The coconut shrimp themselves may have been very good had the sauce been served on the side so diners could decide how much to use. Instead, every bite was drenched in sweetness. The ribs had virtually the same heavy glaze, and even the green beans and carrots were swimming in a sweet sauce. The entire plate tasted like dessert rather than dinner. I barely touched it and simply had it boxed to take home so we could wash off the sauces ourselves. My husband ordered the bouillabaisse, which had the opposite problem--it was surprisingly bland and lacked the rich seafood flavor one expects from that classic dish. Rather than complain yet again, he also boxed it up so we could season it ourselves at home. By 8:30 on a Sunday evening we were still hungry and began searching for another restaurant, only to discover that most nearby kitchens were closing at 9:00. We ended up grabbing Chinese takeout just so we could have something to eat on our wedding anniversary. The evening became even more disappointing considering the cost. We ordered a $150 bottle of Cabernet, bringing our bill to approximately $300 before tip. Spending that amount for a celebratory dinner and then leaving hungry to find another meal elsewhere is not an experience I ever expected. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I generally give restaurants every opportunity to make things right. In this case, however, the problems extended well beyond a single dish. Between the mishandled soup, the excessively sweet entrées, the bland bouillabaisse, and ultimately having to find another dinner after spending hundreds of dollars, this was an anniversary dinner we will remember for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because it has the potential to be much better than what we experienced.
