    Garlic Parmesan cauliflower
    Olga H.

What was good: our server, the beer, the vibes. They have live music in the summer. What was not good: the food. Pass on the lobster bisque, clam chowder was underwhelming but not terrible (seasonal), maple Bacon bourbon wings were over fried and missed the mark. Fried cauliflower was ok if you like heavy breading like a chicken nugget. I think they should try a lighter breading. The different sauce options were interesting. The worse offender was the ceviche. Now, I knew better to not this dish from a place like this, but my husband did not. You know that old line, "where's the beef?" Well, where is the shrimp? It looks like a sad rendition of pico de gallo, with corn in it (very odd) and tiny ass shrimp that I have used for cooking. Think: I'm flavoring my stir fry rice with a little shrimpy flavor, something like that. These shrimps when cooked curl up to no bigger than your thumbnail, I kid you not. Check out my photo and play spot the shrimp. Any self-respecting ceviche should have decent sized shrimp. And the tiny shrimp were scant throughout the dish. They should really take that off the menu. I think this is a sort of place where you stick to the giant pretzel, get a burger, i.e. standard "American" fair.

The service was quick! Natalie was our server and she was so polite and attentive! She entertained our friends son when he talked to her and even when he went in for a hug! It is such a family friendly and nice hang space. They even have games and special nights with events. Will definitely come back again!!

    Chicken gyro

We had lunch & a flight. The beers were pretty good. The food was not super great. I had a chicken gyro and as you can see in the pic, the chicken is unrecognizable. I had to ask the waitress what it was. She said they use pressed chicken in strips. Why? Literally would take minutes to grill a nice piece of chicken. Why would you use pre-made dried chicken strips that look like jerky? The large amount of tzatziki isn't going to resurrect it no matter how much you put on. I've eaten at excellent Greek restaurants and have never had jerky strip chicken. Fresh is best. The cole slaw was good but also way overboard on the creamy consistency. My real pet peeve is the ladies room. What on earth are those ridiculously small sinks supposed to do? The men's room had normal sinks. I don't know who designs women's room stalls but they are either idiots or sadists. How can anyone think 'you know what would be great? Let's design the women's stalls so they need to hike their skirts up & straddle the toilet to get the door shut!!' Are these architects? Engineers? Who approves these idiotic plans? It's so annoying! Overall, the beer and the servers were great. As a rule, food should be recognizable, fresh and tasty.

Stopped in after a local hike. We were with our two pups and were happy that their patio is dog friendly. Brie grilled cheese left a bit to be desired. Maybe brie isn't the best option for a grilled cheese? It was almost like a thick layer of mayo on the sandwich. The homemade chips were very good! We enjoyed the beer! I really liked the eleven churches and the Oktoberfest. Service was great! Sometimes when a restaurant/ bar is brand new, service can be "clunky". That wasn't the case here at all. Overall great brewery, definitely give it a try.

New to town and the talk of town so I had to try while in town. :) Our server was super sweet and she happened to say it was her first day. My brother and I went and for a starter we had the Nashville hot cauliflower. It was really good, however, it took a very long time to come out. For an entree I had the Southwest chicken wrap but I asked with no beans and a side of fries. My brother ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with chips. My wrap was mediocre. I only got it with rice and chicken and they didn't put the other ingredients in that was on the menu. I did not say anything bc I was starving but it was okay. I still would come back and try something different. The location was great! Right off Main Street in town and a fantastic building. We were in the side room with picnic tables. Very nice but def needs some televisions and decor. It would def boost the ambiance. All in all it wasn't bad. I deducted a star due to the wait time and my food order being incorrect. But it's a new business and they are learning. In my opinion, it def is a must try place. I think within time, this place will be a hit! I can't wait for it to grow and wish them much success!! Cheers!!

We really enjoyed visiting Bandstand Brew Works in Warrensburg we returned 3 times over our weekend trip. The food was great, burgers and fries done perfectly. Pretzels and beer delicious. Service and ambiance was fun and attentive.

Had a great experience our first time visiting. They were running some great beer and food specials for football Sunday. We enjoyed some 25 cent wings, yes small but still tasty! And they warned us ahead of time about the size which was completely expected for the price. Really loved that option to try different sauces and dry rubs! The beer was great we shared two flights so we tried every thing on tap. Fantastic variety, there was I believe 9 or so on tap that day. It was very busy with locals and everyone looked to be enjoying the place. We had excellent service and would definitely return. Lots of seating at the bar and tables.

Beautiful new building , very friendly service ( shout out to the amazing Shelby ) and the food was very good . I tried the raspberry sour beer and it was perfection . The only downside was the noise level , lots of echo as it is a large open space .

The menu is massive, and so you should easily be able to find something for everybody...unless that person is looking for something super healthy. The Lagoon has burgers, and pizza, and lobster boats, and fish and chips, and four kinds of mac and cheese, and the appetizer list consists of all the things, fried: brussels sprouts, mozzarella wedges, wings, and more. We ordered all three of those fried things I mentioned to start, buffalo mac and cheese, a pizza, fish and chips, a cheesesteak, chicken fingers and a Greek salad. Our server was super bubbly and brought us all the sauces and drinks and everything else we asked for. It isn't going to blow you away with their culinary innovation, but The Lagoon hits a certain spot, and can seat your whole party with a view. I'd do it again.

Ordered was the poutine, a turkey club, and the hot buttered lobster roll. I came here for the poutine, a previous review had been very complimentary. I was underwhelmed, the gravy was thin, the cheese and tenderloin scarce. I will give the fries credit, crispy and seasoned, they were a solid base. Being so close to Canada, I'd expect better. The club was loaded up with dry turkey and not enough mayonnaise to help balance that out, but again the tots were crispy and seasoned so they were a gem, possibly the best thing here (and that's not a compliment because they're clearly a prepackaged product). The lobster in the lobster roll was chewy and dry, the roll was crispy but it was as though they had made garlic bread with a hot dog bun, then shoved some sad lobster bits in it. The coleslaw was drenched in dressing, but bland enough that I ate it for some texture and filling after being left wholly unsatisfied by my roll. All in all, I get the impression this restaurant relies solely on the lake, and their proximity to giving you a view while you eat, almost entirely to distract from a subpar performance in every other aspect of restauranting.

Both of my experiences are extremely different. My first time here I came for dinner with a group of friends and we had a phenomenal experience with our waitress Sue. She had great table side manors, she was efficient, and she was so nice and pleasant to speak with. The food was amazing I had a grilled chicken sandwich- my only complaint is that the avocado tasted weird but I just removed it from my sandwich. My friends enjoyed their hot dog meal, pizza, & nachos. We had a wonderful experience and loved our waitress sue so we decided to come back the following day. Our second day here we came for lunch and had a waitress named Jess. She was absolutely horrible and had no table side manors and was extremely rude and bothered to be working with us. I feel she was also racist or judgmental towards her co workers. I asked for the bacon cheeseburger with no onion tomato lettuce, & her response was, "so you want a plain cheeseburger?" & she looked at me like I asked a crazy question. I responded saying well I want the bacon on it so a bacon cheeseburger. My friend, wanted a plain burger with only lettuce and onion, & Jess said," so you want a plain burger with everything on it?" I'm not sure how much more clear we could have spoken to our waitress. She was very nasty. She also made a comment that the cooks are Spanish and she has no idea how she will translate our orders to the cooks. That is not the customers problem or concern and should not have been said to us. Jess never checked in at our table to see if we needed refills, napkins, etc. We needed a refill on drinks, so we found a waitress nearby and were asking for assistance. Jess saw this and came running over & said, " she has no idea what you're saying she doesn't speak English." & she then proceeded to get our drinks. I couldn't believe my ears, how incredibly rude was that comment. Her comment felt very judgmental and rude. She had no class whatsoever. At the end of our meal she came over to us and told us the dollar amount of our bill and walked away. We had to ask for a receipt. Absolutely ridiculous. If I ever came back to this place I want Sue as my waitress!!!! Thank you Sue for your over the top service and friendliness!!!! Also fyi**** 18% tip is automatically included in your bill.
