My friend and I did a class, and we had the best time! First of all, talk about bang for your buck--the classes range from $30-45 and everything is included. The flowers we got easily were worth that value, then when you include the personalized instruction, new ideas and tips you can take away, it was so worth it. It blew my expectations out of the water! The only bummer (for them) is that a bunch of people signed up, but it was just my friend and I that actually showed. Don't be that person! The classes are offered every Saturday and are themed around the holidays right now, think pumpkins, thanksgiving centerpiece, wreaths etc. An amazing experience, and it definitely won't be our last!

It was a fabulous bouquet that still has beautiful "legs" several days later. We were both impressed with the variety of colors and flowers contained within the vase, and of course the kindness behind it. But! There was one key downside from this most excellent floral experience - Cats! When the vase arrived, we placed it front and center on the fireplace mantle. A few minutes later, we let the cats in from the garage, and our Boychik cat made a bee line for it and jumped up to have a sniff and a nibble. We then put it on a lower surface, which allowed both cats to enjoy (when we weren't looking), and later knock it all over. On that note, it's been hard to fully enjoy the experience with the vase either in the sink, or hidden behind closed doors at night or when we're gone. I get anxious ordering flowers from a florist I don't know, especially from out of the area. Flowers are such a reflection of personal style, and one person's idea of beautiful can be completely different from someone else's. And with what flowers cost these days, you really want them to be right. My best friend's mom passed away that morning, and I wanted to send her something beautiful to brighten an incredibly difficult day. Nothing on the website was exactly the style I had in mind, so I called and spoke with Percy. I tried to explain what I wanted--soft garden elegant, stylish, beautiful flowers and absolutely no arrangement overloaded with filler. I'm very picky, and Percy listened carefully and was incredibly kind and caring. After placing the order, I actually came across another florist's website that was more representative of the style I had envisioned and started worrying that I had made the wrong choice. I emailed Percy with a little more direction and some examples of what I meant. She responded right away and completely understood. The arrangement was delivered the same day, and they even sent me a photo beforehand. It was beautiful--exactly the look and style I had hoped for. More importantly, it was something I felt good about sending to my friend at such a difficult time. Percy was wonderful from beginning to end.
