Haaaammmm and scrammmm! We saw a few people check into this place and we happened to have an entertainment coupon and had to check it out, despite my husband not being a fan of ham. We woke up early and headed over. Their hours are from 5:30am-3pm Mon-Fri and 7am-2pm on weekends so the window is small and early. We had heard that there wasn't much seating either. That was correct. There are about four tables of two. We were immediately greeted and the girl up front explained some of the menu. She did explain that they have a smaller menu and not a million options to make things more simple for everyone. My husband went with the breakfast burrito which was the most popular, and I went with the bowl which was the same thing but without the tortilla. I almost got the english muffin in which she explained that it's like the ones at McDonald's, but only theirs tastes good. Haha... I am going to have to try that soon. I didn't look at the lunch menu much since we were there for breakfast, but I do believe that I did see a grilled cheese and ham sandwich that I am definitely going to have to go back and try. We waited for our food to be cooked up nice and fresh. My bowl had eggs, hash browns, bacon, green peppers, cheese, ham, and onions, and it came with a side of salsa. It was delicious! All the staff there was very polite, and the owner knew that we were new and was very polite. Also they have a lot of regulars who go here and they know them and converse with them all. They are also very quick to clean up the tables for the next guest to sit down and eat. If we lived closer, I would definitely be a regular. But, I'm definitely coming back soon! I can't believe I have never been here.... I live so close to this place and have never gotten the chance to come in. Finally my girlfriend brought me their breakfast burrito. Great service all around. Greeted right when you walk in & efficient in service. 2. Seems like a lot of locals come around. I noticed that the employees will sometimes greet the returning customers by first name and their wall is filled with pictures of their loyal customers. 3. If you check in here on Yelp, you get a free beverage! Yay for my FREE coffee! 4. Grab a frequent buyer's card. On your 7th visit, your sandwich will be FREE! CONS: 1. Breakfast burritos! One of my favorite foods regardless of time of day. So When I saw Ham 'n Scram featured in the OC Register, I decided to drive to the other side of town to give them a shot. To put it briefly, these are some pretty bomb breakfast burritos with one disclaimer: You must like ham! Their star product is Ham 'n Egg Burrito which features fresh, never-frozen, juicy, thick cut, bone-in ham, hash browns, egg, green pepper, onion, bacon, and ooey gooey cheddar cheese. It's the perfect proportion of of meat to cheese to veggies. If you want it meatier, you can get the Double Meat Burrito. The tortilla is grilled until slightly crispy for great texture. But my favorite part was the bits of bacon inside which add the occasional burst of salty crunchy flavor. And it's not greasy at all! I wouldn't mind if they had a burrito with just bacon because let's face it, who doesn't love bacon? Maybe in the future? *hint* *hint* They have fresh tomato salsa available but if you really want it spicy you'll have to use Tabasco or Tapatio. If you don't feel like breakfast, they have homemade soups and a small sandwich menu, but I suspect they won't be as good as the burrito It's a breakfast place after all. We tried ham and scram for our staff meeting, I got the breakfast bowl. It was just ok, nothing amazing, but my non pork eating co worker got the turkey sandwich and said it was really good . It looked yummy so I promised myself I would go after work to try it. I arrived at 1:48, the hours are open until 2:00 so I knew I was pushing it but just wanting a cold turkey sandwich should be quick. I approached the door and saw a young man/teen inside, he turned off the lights as I approached and the door was locked. I know it was very close to closing time but still had 12 minutes. Very disappointed! If you close at 2:00, shouldn't you be open and available to your customers until 2:00? The restaurant has 3-4 small tables, the menu was small, the food came out fast, quick and cheap. We were fortunate to come in on a Monday which was Split Pea soup day....loved their Split Pea soup. I usually get the hang and egg burrito which is usually pretty good and fairly price. It's about $10 per burrito which I feel is fair. I wouldn't recommend coming here on the weekend though. Not only that it's extremely busy, but there's no seat as well because there's like 3 tables inside. Also I ding this place a star because the other times I came here, my burrito was actually burnt. Haven't been back to this place in 5 years and it is still has the same great service and food! ENVIRONMENT: It's a tiny hole in the wall in Westminster. There's only a few tables but people usually take the food to go. The service is excellent! The owner really tries to remember people's names. Along the wall, you'll find several pictures that the owner takes with returning customers. The food is always fresh here! FOOD: I ordered the OG breakfast burrito. It is loaded with so many different ingredients. Everything was well cooked and good. The salsa that they provided isn't too spicy and has good flavors. I wasn't a big fan of that though, but along the counter there's a bunch of different sauces that you can try out on your burrito. I enjoy a little kick to my food so I used the sriracha tabasco. So good! The burrito is pretty meaty so I felt full off on half. OVERALL: I would come back here if I'm around the area. It's just far from me which is why I haven't been back in so long. read more

Good ingredients. Great balance inside the burrito. If anything, I'd improve the salsa. They do also have a good assortment of hot sauces on the side counter though. SERVICE Friendly and personable.
