Stopped in at this small town pub vibe bar as part of a poker run and sat on the deck with other relatives that arrived earlier. Our server came by for a drink order. Drinks came out and we asked multiple times for a menus, They did finally come out but we didn't have time left for lunch so we decided to ordered a couple apps. She finally came back to take our order as everyone else was finished with their meal. We found later that the server was all by herself covering the whole place so this was by no means her fault. We ordered Onion Rings and Fried Pickles, they arrived piping hot in a reasonable amount of time and were very good. Our local car club had a "Flash Drive". We did not make reservations ahead of time, although we knew where our destination was going to be after the drive. I called during our drive to the Hamburg Pub and informed them we had 14 people stopping by in 20 minutes for lunch. When we got there, it was as if they were waiting for us. We had no problem getting seating for 14 people together. Our waitress was outstanding with her service. She was extremely attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Everyone's food arrived at the same time so no one was waiting while everyone else ate. Everyone enjoyed their food. She worked as if it were effortless and she was so friendly and inviting. We will definitely be adding Hamburg Pub to our list of destination restaurants. read more

Let me start off by saying that my expectations were super high so may be rating lower because they were supposed to be so amazing. First, the bartender was great. She was on it! Had a draft Blue Moon and it tasted old, almost as if their lines needed some cleaning. Wasn't impressed. Ordered cheese bread and pizza. The cheese bread was delicious. Reminded me of cheese bread from a place where I used to live. The pizza was ok. The dough/crust was a little on the thin side and was ok. The obsession with Trump can be a little much to swallow. The Pub used to have very good burgers but that's not the case not anymore. Over the past year the prices have gone up and the quality of the food has definitely declined. In my opinion $11 for an absolutely marginal bar burger isn't worth it. Won't be returning anytime soon. read more

I love the Hamburg Pub! It's so laid back. It's a nice place to go grab a drink or a bite to eat and it's always so welcoming. The bartenders are always nice. This is a hidden gem in the Hamburg area, just off the beaten path. Serving tasty inexpensive food and strong drinks! I've lived in the area for years now and sometimes forget how much I enjoy the pub. The staff is always very friendly and attentive to your needs. They pour drinks like drinks should be poured and they don't charge a lot for them. Each week is filled with different food specials and drink specials, so ask the server or bartender what the specials are. If you like cheeseburgers I highly recommend the sliders, they're inexpensive and really hit the spot. The service is bottom tier in terms of timeliness of ordering food. The first drink order comes right away. The waitress usually comes back in 15 minutes to offer a 2nd drink to the table members. But she is always extremely slow at taking the time to let the guests order food. Hamburg pub is not competitive when it comes to the availability of the waitress to return to the table to address the needs of the guests. I like the place and my loyal friends like the place, but they are forcing me out as they continue their maddingly slow service. Nice little local watering hole. Went on a Friday night at 5pm and had a 15-20 minute wait for a seat. They served us drinks while we waited for a seat which was nice. Watched a couple pizzas pass by and those looked good. I've heard their pizza is better than Zukey Lake which is very good so... We ended up sitting at the bar. WOW , what a gem. We had about 40 people after a breast cancer walk , yesterday. My folks live like 1 mile from here. Freak Bike Nation (.com) Bicycle Club rode the bike trail on the weekend of Thanksgiving. We stopped in Hamburg Pub for a drink and a snack. Friendly folks came out to look at the custom bicycles we rode in on. Found a nice upnorth feeling inside. First round of Drinks came to us quick. I grew up in Hamburg and used to go occasionally but I will never return to this bar. Stopped in after a pedal pub in Ann Arbor and wanted to get something to eat. We had a large group so we had to divide ourselves among a couple different tables. The younger waitress that was working did a great job really hustled and took care of one of our tables. The older waitress must have judged us as soon as we walked in, maybe she just thought we were a bunch of drunks, but I assure you I was not. I was the designated driver and just wanted one beer with dinner. She took our drink order and since some of the group wanted to sober up a bit, asked for water. I asked for a beer and she brought the water but I had to ask her 3 more times and she still never brought my beer. Someone from our party had to go get it for me from the bartender. Then she took our food order and must have never put in the order because we sat there for at least an hour and never received our food. Finally when we complained to her and said we were just going to leave she said it was ready. So we took it to go. This woman was the rudest waitress I have ever had, ever. There was another table that sat down about 15 minutes before we left and they all had drinks in front of them and they were eating their food before we left. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'd avoid it all together. Go someplace else, so many other places to choose from with way better food and service. read more

Oh wow! Talk about hidden backwoods bar! TVs and beer mirrors line the walls. We trekked out to find this place, as it would be a nice motorcycle ride from our house on a Saturday night. Karaoke was going but we were a little saddened to find the kitchen closed at 10pm. The waitress said we could still get frier foods. A little crestfallen I took a menu.
