I remember eating here all the time back in the day. Used to love their burgers and fries. My memory of this place is either shotty or the food has seriously changed. My husband, brother-in-law, and myself stopped in here hungry for some greasy goodness. The service wasn't the friendliest but not exactly rude either. Just felt like we didn't matter. Our burgers were just average. Nothing special or memorable. The fries were god awful, chewy and cold. Like they had been sitting out for quite some time . What's the biggest disadvantage to riding a Triumph motorcycle with a 1050cc motor and 135 horsepower? Fuel range. My buddy and I were on our way into the Sequoias when I started running low on fuel. We popped into town to get gas and saw this spot and had to stop for a burger. This one of those perfect mom and pop spots to stop and grab lunch. Was the only person when I walked in at 5:15 pm Friday night 7/30/2021 When 10 minutes had gone by, and the 3 person staff had not done 1 thing to complete my order because they were too engrossed in a story they were sharing. If you have the option to DO NOT STOP HERE! The food is gross and the wait is extremely long! I ordered a chili cheeseburger, fried zucchini and a strawberry milkshake. The cashier told me it would be 25 minutes and I came back after 25 minutes and my food was still not ready! The chili in the cheeseburger was very watery and almost only all beans, the meat in the burger was very tough, not good and not hot. This place can be easy to miss because it is in a small wood-panneled building on the side of the road with a PepsiCola sign out front. It's the perfect stop on the way into or back from the Sequoia National Forrest. This mom and pop has very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Small spot in heart of Springville, but menu is HUGE. They got the works. Burgers, chicken nuggets, shrimp baskets, corn dogs, etc. Can't forget to mention the milkshake which has 30+ flavors which include Cinnamon, Apple, Peanut Butter, and even Cotton Candy. Been coming here for over ten years, when traveling to the sequoias, & now regularly as a local. I DO NOT love fast food, but when you have an urge for a fried burrito, some hot n' crispy fried mushrooms, or soft serve shakes, then this place is it! I am usually very critical of places, but this place delivers EXACTLY what it says, and it does it well, but nothing more. It's a small mom & pop place with consistently good fast food. This place is small, humble, and delivers exactly what it advertises; hamburgers, fries, shakes. Those that have given a bad review, must've gone in with preconceived notions (but I think they were wacky gun-fearing liberals that were scared by all the signs on the wall). Next time, take your granola and continue on up the hill to hug your trees. Stop hurting businesses by basing your reviews on your emotions. There should really be only a few areas of consideration: 1.) Did they deliver what was advertised? 2.) Did they do it competently? Anything much more than that is just icing on the cake! If you're looking for a place that serves filet mignon, then read the sign, this is not the place! Lastly, contrary to some of the reviews, the gal at the front is overworked and VERY nice, so quit being so rude people, and tip the lady! read more

Called in order to go, burger was short a patty, very ordinary quality, string frys ordinary, didn't eat more than on bite. Large shake was more like cheap ice milk . The rings were good. Not the same old Stand, quality really down. read more

Diane at the pack station recommended this place if we wanted a good home cooked burger and a great shake in a small family owned restaurant. Best milkshakes I've had in a very long time. Totally worth stopping by just for the shakes. My favorite is the chocolate malt. Most places don't use malt anymore. They also have so many different syrups for the shakes it's hard to decide. I also had a cheeseburger, and it was good. They cheeseburger is a three star item. The last time I came here was about 5 years ago. The time before that was at least 15 years ago. Service was better this time. Still have the same cardboard tasting frozen foods. It's to bad this has always been a charming little place. I think they should scrap the whole menu and stop selling 45 things. Focus on making some killer fresh burgers and fresh fries. I don't know where they get their hamburger but to me it tastes like a frozen patty from Sysco or some other corporation. There has to be a local beef producer they could use.
