Got a bunch of take out here and it was all great. The eggplant, sesame noodles, twice cooked pork, mapo tofu, and pea shoots were all delicious.

Han Dynasty was a great quality start to my winter visit in NYC! The space was intimate, comfortable, and spacious - even with it being located within a food hall! Service here was similarly excellent in terms of being very prompt, efficient, and friendly! Having traveled across the country for most of the day, both of us ordered (probably) more than was necessary - nevertheless, everything was absolutely EXCELLENT! My feelings on every food dish: Wonton in Chicken Broth - perfect heat and delicious texture/flavor Hot Sauce Style Entree - just the right amount of heat, flavor, and absolutely delicious Scallion Pancake - arguably the most disappointing plate of the evening..but still very solid quality. Just a little dry. If I'm being honest, I am not fully sure of everything we ordered (it was a lot, we were hungry!!), but I DO KNOW that we loved everything we had while patrons of this establishment! Oh yeah - AND they give you a complimentary pot of tea for the table, which I found to be a lovely touch! Unsurprisingly, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Just got off a long commute from Jersey and was starving. This was recommended by the hotel receptionist since it was one of the few places open late. Just a 5 minute walk and it was inside a shopping center. Thankfully I ordered online so I didn't have to wait when I arrived and there was a small line of people waiting. I didn't have super high expectations for the quality of food that late but surprisingly it was all quite good. The dumplings were delicious! The sauce had a perfect amount of spiciness and the chicken fried rice was a good portion. It was a touch dry but the extra chili sauce they gave me helped and it had at least a good flavor. I would recommend this as a good late night spot in Brooklyn if you've got a hankering for Chinese food!

Recently came to Han Dynasty for a lunch date. I love that they have affordable lunch specials here! I ordered the shrimp fried rice which came with a choice of 1 hot and 1 cold appetizer. Rice was very tasty and not too oily. Cucumbers on the other hand were a bit too spicy for my liking.

We all enjoyed these 2 appetizers.

My cousins and I came to this location for a holiday luncheon. The decor is cute and the staff was extra friendly and able to assist with our requests to make the dishes mild in spice. The food was very good, too. My favorite dish was on the special menu - Twisted Tofu Skin with Peanuts. I would also definitely order the String Beans and the Dan Dan Noodles next time. It was a great experience! I will be back for more!

This restaurant in Manhattan offers the most incredible Sichuan-style cuisine. Over the years, it has maintained a charming decor. The server and staff work as a cohesive unit, ensuring that we received attentive service. If you're looking for a delicious taste of Asian cuisine, this is the place to go. It deserves a solid five out of five stars.

The service was very good, the server was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and the food came out quickly and hot. We were very pleased. Oh, the food is one of the best Asian food I've had.

Bubble tea was $5 for a large size, so I decided to give it a try. Bubbles were included in the price. Bubble tea was okay. I got too much ice and sugar even though I asked for light ice and sugar.

Han Dynasty is a nice entry way into Sichuan cuisine; they have a lovely bar and great food. When I visited, I got their hot sauce beef, which is their house-made chili oil sauce mixed with beef and a bit of veggies. For my drink, I had the Empress, which is a lychee martini--it is definitely a must-get. The staff member who helped me, Florence, was wonderful and highly recommended the Dishes which were fantastic.

I love it here. I have eaten in the upper west side location one time and three times I got delivery from the one on Dekalb. I love the wontons in chili oil. The cumin fries are delicious but like all fries are better at the restaurant bc they lose their crispness when delivered. But the flavor is still so great. We got the scallion with pork. Omg so delicious. Very subtle flavor and very tender pork. I want it all the time now. The chicken dumplings are good but I prefer the spicy wontons. The king pao chicken is very flavorful and has lots of veggies - bell peppers.

Good Sichuan food! Food: we ordered a few dishes! I really liked the dry pepper chicken the best! It is very spicy but very flavorful! The t garlic sauce chicken is also pretty good, and comes with veggies which is nice. The three cup chicken is pretty sweet, so very different from the others! Service: we ordered takeout and they were quick Ambience: there is a small takeout window which makes it quick and easy to grab the food

Visited a few more times since my first review. Disappointed to observe my recent experience didn't measure up to the wow factor I felt upon my first few times trying Han Dynasty. A simple order of Chicken with Garlic and Rice noodles with Chicken left me feeling ambivalent. Perhaps it was an off day? We requested no MSG and less soy sauce as related to the Chicken with Garlic but the end result tasted quite salty and coated in a dark brown sauce with too many bamboo shoots for my liking. While the Noodles were pretty good, overall, there was a feeling of disappointment and belief that Han Dynasty is drowning in a sea of similar, generic restaurants. I might try again in the future and will update my review once more.

The food at Han Dynasty is so good. So so so good. Service wasn't great, but it wasn't rushed and it wasn't rude so I'll take it. Everything we ordered was delicious - very different than what we have back home and we live in a Chinese dominant area. Pricing was what I would consider moderate for the amount of food and quality received. I'd definitely come back.

The wontons here were better than those I've had at the east village location but the dry pepper chicken (fried with long, hot peppers) is almost inedible. It's my go-to and I found it to be mostly dough, very little chicken, and not spicy enough.…

I next just got a regular lychee martini, which was much less sweet & a perfect drink #2 - we started with the pork dumplings which had such a complex sauce. it looked like a basic chili oil but there was a tangy vinegar and a sweet aftertaste that balanced out the numbing spice. the dough was so chewy & thick, I loved. - the cold eggplant was very garlic forward & naturally ofc coated in spice. it's a large serving of the same vegetable but we ate every piece - we split the tofu & fish entree. this was insane, the same base and consistency as mapo tofu. incredibly rich and flavorful with light large chunks of silken tofu & battered fried soft fish. the fish absorbed so much of the sauce, which honestly I was eating by the spoonful.

All of them were served in a similar Sichuan chili sauce. It was on the milder side, so there was only a slight numbness in the mouth. Definitely a great way to introduce people to this cuisine who are hesitant about spiciness. For the main course, we shared the Ma Po Tofu. This item was marked with three chilis on the menu indicating it is the highest spice level here. It was definitely the spiciest item by far. You get the full mala effect with a bold pepper flavor plus big time numbing that lingers well after. It was my favorite dish but might not be for everyone. Rice is not included so be sure to add at least one order. They have a full bar with lots of house cocktails. Some wines and a handful of beers including draft options.
