I will say coming here, it was worth it for a fresh dinner. I had sushi and ginger salad. The staff said hi and seated us immediately. I got the dinner special 3 regular rolls for 13.99. The location is pretty cute like a nice home feel. Light decor, and you can even see the bar area where they prep the sushi. I ordered the chicken tempura, California roll, and Florida roll. Everything was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

Food 3 stars / service 4 stars We were heading to the AMC nearby, and my friend suggested Hana. I had not been there in a very long time since the last meal (hibachi) was less than stellar. Went with the Hana Bomb ($11), katsu roll ($7), and sexy lobster roll ($18) this time. The hana bomb was slightly different on the outside with but it was still tasty. The katsu had absolutely no flavor to it, whereas the sexy lobster was a very thick roll with a decent taste. There was only one server, but she was great with our soft drinks and bringing our meals out in a timely fashion.

Krab Mango Special Roll - very sweet.

Rolls are loose and rice isn't cooked evenly. Pork dumplings came out cold. Water tastes gross, so order their warm bottled water instead. Flavors are all so odd.

The last of our Godzilla roll. So tasty, we forgot to take a picture at the beginning.

My kids and I tried Hana for the first time today for lunch. They have a good lunch menu ($8.99 for two rolls and a miso soup or ginger salad). You can add a third roll for an extra $3.00. All three of us ordered the sushi lunch. We also got a Godzilla roll to share, and I ordered some mackerel nigiri. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The server was very attentive. He also wore a mask. I'm not sure what business was like here pre-COVID, but there were probably three tables of people at any one time. I did see people picking up takeout too. I would definitely return. A good find!

    Mexican roll and crunchy tuna...

Visiting from the southwest, staying at the Hilton, wanted fish, gave this place a try. I had the Mexican roll and the crunchy tuna roll. Every bite dipped in the wasabi/soy sauce mix. DELICIOUS! Great taste! Great texture! Great finish. And my bill! $16.59 before tip. Yummm! I leave it at four starts because it's not very fancy, it's kind of a hole in the wall. But otherwise excellent meal!

Highly recommend this one for good sushi at affordable price. Very friendly server. He made sure we were happy and satisfied. The happy hour sushi rolls were delicious. M-F 4-6 pm 3 regular rolls for $14.95 was a nice birthday present for me (yes it was my birthday). The sashimi was fresh and properly cut. The spicy tuna was just the right mild heat. The mackerel was some of the best I've had. It wasn't mushy or overly vinegary. Try the spicy salmon because it was perfectly mild. The nigiri was just the right size for a bite. Don't expect this place to be all decked out with fancy decor, but do expect to get some great tasting sushi that was better than some stuff I've gotten from places that look like a million bucks, charge you a million bucks and get bait fish for dinner. Great job to these guys. Fear None, Love All and Eat Well.

Spicy Yellowtail Roll, Special Crunch roll (salmon, tuna, Escolar, crab)

I've been here 6 times now. I always get served super fast. The sushi is always fresh. Ordered my usually order of sashimi (escolar and smoked salmon) I tried to new rolls tonight. The spicy yellow tail roll was good definitely with the cream cheese. I don't usually like tempura rolls; the special crunch roll was yummy just missing the asparagus listed which I feel like would have given it it's extra crunch. Nice quality.

Excellent service!!! Tasty rolls reasonably priced!

We came to this place conveniently located next to the Altamonte Mall. It was clean, friendly service, and great tasting rolls. They take their time with preparing food with quality and good presentation. I would recommend this sushi spots to new and experienced sushi eaters alike.

We got the sushi deal for two. You could probably feed three people with it. Everything was fresh and yummy. Good way to try different things.

    Baked mussels
    Ut N.

The salmon sashimi was excellent with nice size pieces and fresh as can be! The salmon skin requested extra crispy was perfect, almost better than any other Hana Sushi I've been to. The baked mussels came out hot and full of masago egg mixed in with Japanese mayo. I loved that they even cut up the mussels for me. Service was excellent, waitress and her Son Jackson came outside to pet my dog SantaPaws at the end of the meal. I sat outside of the restaurant because I had my dog with me, but the waitress was extremely nice and asked if my dog needed water bowl and gave us a white butcher paper to cover up the table since it was dusty from sitting outside.

I've passed by this place so many times, I decided to finally stop in. I was a little hesitant to come after seeing the mixed reviews. Kinda wish I listened the food was okay, the rice had no flavor, the bento box was alright. I didn't enjoy anything tempura fried, it just lacked flavor. The oranges in the bento box had a sticker on them... it was just all around a big pass. The sushi was okay as well, I've had way better but I've also had worse. My girlfriend wanted to rate the place a 3, but I thought that was too generous and gave it a 2.

But it's there, overlooking the lake, waiting to offer you delicious sushi. The staff are always very nice, helpful, and patient as you look through the menu. With a huge selection of fish and veggie combinations, the menu has something for everyone. (I'm sorry I don't have a menu picture for reference!) The ingredients are always fresh and the rolls are made in house, to order. I have never had a bad roll - or a bad meal. While the seating can be cramped with a full house, the views make up for that easily. If you manage to get a seat in the back, you can look out over the lake (which absolutely has gators because I saw one on my last afternoon visit.) There are booths, tables, and a large sushi bar - again, something for everyone! I highly recommend checking this spot out if you are a sushi lover like me. (But also, don't, because I still want to be able to get a seat there when I go!)

My only complaints would be that the music is a little loud, and with the restaurant being packed, there doesn't seem to be much acoustical treatment to help with the noise, so it can get a bit overwhelming. This place is definitely made for people who eat with their eyes first. The hanging flowers, greenery, moody lighting and gorgeous decor will have you taking tons of photos before you even look at the menu. We started with drinks. I got the Amor y Vida and it was as pretty as it was delicious. The tajin rim gave a nice kick to this sweet drink. I need to come back and try more of their uniquely presented drinks. For food we started with chips and salsa. Give me chips in a flowerpot and suddenly I am fancy. Then we ordered the Tostones and Plantain Roll with Salmon. Just a heads up, do not order any additional meat or seafood with the Tostones. This dish is fabulous on it's own. The Plantain Roll was an unexpected combination that my tastebuds thoroughly enjoyed. It was definitely not your typical sushi roll. We sat at the bar and our bartender took great care of us. Between the environment, creative menu and friendly service, this was definitely a fun experience. I would suggest you come hungry, but make sure your phone is charged because at this spot, the camera most certainly eats first.

Having been on a handful of occasions, each visit, I am left quite satisfied and happy with not only the service provided, but just the general quality of the food. The restaurant is very beautiful inside - which is a lovely surprise because the exterior is very unassuming. It is infused with cultural decor that leaves you feeling like you have been transported to Japan! So, kudos to the designers!! Now, prior to diving into the food and drinks, I just quickly want to note, there is ample seating indoors. Even with the exterior being so unassuming, it is a quite spacious restaurant. They have banquet seating as well as booth seating. But I digress. Time for the FOOD REVIEW!! Now, the food here, or rather, the sushi, is just DELISH!! I will admit, I haven't tried other dishes from their menu beyond their sushi. Speaking of, the MENU here is MASSIVE! If you don't want sushi, you can definitely order other entrees as they offer bento boxes, bowls, and various other dishes. The price points are great and they also have lunch specials. As for the sushi options I typically indulge in, I stick with the tempura shrimp options. Sometimes I do their speciality rolls and other times I will indulge in their staple rolls. Even though I don't eat a ton of raw sushi (still training my palette for it), I have enjoyed the few raw sushi rolls I have tried. The drinks are also super tasty! My first visit, many months ago, I got their Thai Tea. I also got a matcha!! Both were lovely!! They have a really good non-alcoholic and alcoholic drink menu. Again, the pricing is reasonable pending what you order. The desserts here are BEYOND GOOD! On my most recent visit, I tried their green tea tiramisu and it was really good. Not too sweet and not too earthy (even though I am not opposed to earthy). All in all, I always have a top notch experience here! The staff are great and attentive. There's a decent amount of parking and wait times are usually not super long - even during their peak hours. If you have visited this restaurant, please do!

Only like 3 diners were there when we arrived (it was mid afternoon), so lots of open seating. We were able to sit at the bar. Greeted right way. Will say they have a very extensive menu. Decent selection of sushi & other types of dishes. Our server was pleasant. We started with their daily deal which was Crispy Tuna and edamame as well. Came out pretty quickly after we ordered. The Crispy Tuna was served not as we expected. It was more rice cakes (pancake style shape if you will) not what we are accustomed to which generally is a Square Musubi Press. They were good, but would have preferred them the way we generally order it. Edamame was tasty, but hard to mess that up. Rolls: they are pretty small to be honest and squeezed so tightly (with not enough of outer rice) they sat up high and didn't take on the plump desirable shape. When a sushi roll (maki) is rolled and pressed incorrectly with a bamboo mat, the cylindrical shape gets squished and inevitably turns into a aesthetic effect that looks off, which in my opinion shows here. Plus, very thinly sliced rolls. 4 rolls we ordered: Naruto Roll, it was refreshing & liked the cucumber in place of the seaweed wrap. Beauty & Beast Roll, came together well with the black tobiko & masago. Waterfall Roll was good, but would have liked some more heat (heaver on the jalapeños) and finally the Black Pearl Roll which was decent with the black tobiko on top! Throughout of dining experience the sushi chefs were preparing other dishes on the menu to fill orders, but also pleasant & engaging as we watched them make our orders and those others too. Leo and Micah were friendly, not so much the only female employee. She gave off some negative vibes. Never said a word to us & acted like we were not even there! Believe her role may have been in the kitchen, but she was out on the floor (for most of our time there) talking to Leo primarily. Kitchen cleanliness is key and by looking thru the open space (to the backs of sushi chefs) she really needed to focus more of her attention there instead of projecting conversations out front to the busy staff. Meaning that sanitation and environmental hygiene is a mandatory practice that needs constant attention & customers may observe or question those things when not tending to the task. I'm addressing this in the most important and nicest way possible! Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Not the best sushi restaurant we've been to, but definitely sufficed for our craving. Ended our meal with their fried ice cream which was delicious. Note- Do not believe they have any happy hour specials. No Kizami Wasabi available here. They feature a few lower costs options for lunch. Additionally, they have hibachi, teriyaki and ramen also!
