This place rocks. Went for lunch with a buddy. Great service and great food. The sushi chef was very friendly and enthusiastic about service. We ate yellowtail and spider rolls along with a hand tuna roll and salmon sashimi. All of which was amazing. If I'm back in the area I will definitely be eating at Hana Sushi again. read more

Food was okay. Order a salmon cut roll and found it to be a bit sour...Not what I was hoping. What really turned me off was that I ordered a California roll and asked if the chef could put siriachi in the crab meat. When I got my bill I was charged for a Mexican roll which was $2 more than the California roll. Great little spot just down the street from us. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team who has been there about 20 years. They were both warm and welcoming when I came in with my kids for lunch. It was quiet but also a weekday. We sat at the bar and had great conversation with Jake. My husband, daughter and I just had an excellent meal at Hana Sushi. The service was friendly and excellent (we got there a few minutes before opening time but they were very welcoming). Ambiance was very nice,too. We sat at a table but it looked like it would be fun to sit at the bar, too. My daughter had two sushi rolls and kept her order sheet as she expected to order more but portions are large. My husband and I aren't really big sushi eaters so we had the combo of teriyaki and tempura combo. We had beer and wine with our meal. This will become a regular for us. I had an absolutely terrible experience here. I really wanted to like this place due to it's convenient location and so I decided to stop by. First thing I was to mention since I'm sure most people only read the first couple sentences is that I got VIOLENT FOOD POISONING FROM HERE. I was not surprised considering how low quality the food was. I came in for lunch and sat at the sushi bar. Service was nice and quick. I ordered a miso soup and a red dragon roll. Miso soup was fine but I have also never had bad miso. The roll was mushy and just plain wrong! The rice was soggy and the cucumber was missing it's very important fresh crunch. The fish tasted bleh and if it wasn't for the free cantaloupe I was planning on giving two stars but that bumped me up to three. That was until I started receiving stomach pains and by the time I was home 8 hours later, I was vomiting all night with some of the worst stomach pains I have ever experienced. Save yourself a trip to the doctor and don't come here. read more
