Pretty good sushi, not very many sushi specials or discounts, but there are some good beer specials on their large 22oz bottles. The sushi is good, tasted fresh, and is priced ok for the area. I prefer Sapporo sushi in Murrieta but that's too far from my house for a last minute sushi craving. Overall, a good option if you're in the area. I've been a loyal customer for year until I decide to use the male restroom. Honestly it is extremely dirty, dried urine everywhere, smelly, simply nasty. How a such nice restaurant with expensive dishes have such restroom? If the restroom is on these conditions I am concerned about the kitchen. To make things worse when I was going to the restroom an Asian man with a black hat was in front of me. He used the restroom super quickly. This past Friday, I had the pleasure of dining out for the first time. And, sushi! In the past Hana Sushi on Temecula Pkwy, has been average at best. No more. I had such an amazing experience. Prolly one of the best dining experiences off all time. David , our server, was Exceptional! I have never before received such amazing service. I've worked in Food Service/Hospitality for nearly 20 years, so that's saying something. David was attentive, anticipated our needs, and even accommodated my requests to modify certain Sushi Rolls. He was more than happy to oblige. We were seated at a table next to the sushi bar. The chefs produced amazing, delicious and visually delightful dishes. Thank you! And every modified order was delivered correctly and beautifully. They seemed cheerful and totally on it! Great job! Lastly, in he past, it had felt that Hana had become just another tired location. The decor is better than most other sushi restaurants in Temecula, though still not at par with a typical sushi restaurant elsewhere. The miso soup was pretty good, and a deal at $2 a bowl. The prices for the sushi rolls are pretty decent, considering how much you get for the price. Average price of special hand rolls is about $11. I ordered the Las Vegas roll and it was okay; didn't know what to expect with the green addition to the roll, turned out to be a pretty strange consistency. My boyfriend and sister both ordered the crazy boy roll, which has crab, jalapeño, and is deep fried. It looked like a lot to eat at once, but they both said they enjoyed it. I will probably come back, seeing as my favorite sushi place in Temecula recently went out of business :( read more

Normally great food and service but was a bit disappointed when my family of 5 went out for dinner tonight. We all ordered our food and my wife never even got her dinner order. 4 out of 5 ate dinner but not my wife. 1 hour later they said her volcano roll was going to be ready 5 minutes later. I was in the area and wanting to sushi and stumbled upon Hana Sushi. The restaurant is very clean, the service is very attentive, and the sushi is fresh! What more could you ask for!? I loved that the ginger and wasabi came with a cucumber salad- which was absolutely delicious! We ordered a few different rolls, miso soup, house salad, and a yellowtail asparagus plate. The bg was extremely pleased with the yellowtail. The flavor was spot on and cooked to perfection. I loved the miso soup, but wasn't very impressed with the vegetable roll. I know, not the most exciting thing to order from a sushi restaurant, but was hopeful that it could come packed with veggies as the waitress described. Instead it came with lettuce, rice noodles, and a sliver of avocado and carrot. It has a weird consistency, and was flavorless. Lesson learned-- I will order more avocado rolls next time! After a hard day, we called ahead they said "no wait." There was no wait when we arrive. Server was super cute and sweet. He was helpful and kind. Sushi Chef was very impressive and there was a beautiful flower on the plate. Miso soup was homemade and had a unique, fresh smokey flavor. The bill was only $40 and I will definitely return . Normally we order Miso Lobster Bake for pick up and never have I ever had it this bad before! It's only 5 minutes from our house. The crawfish is way over cooked to the point that it was like chewing rubber. As if it was sitting out for a long time because it was dried up. All achieved here, but not anymore. I've been coming here since the day he opened. So today I mourn..... here's how it happened. I walk in and instantly know something is wrong. I'm not greeted with the loud greeting from the bar. A soft voice greets me from afar. Then I scan the restaurant looking for Jakes wife, who waited tables..... no sign of her. I suddenly see male waiters. I know what this means. My heart sinks to my feet as I speak the fateful words...... are you under new Ownership? I hear YEEEESSSSS ......as if in slow motion. I felt betrayed, as if Yelp or the Police should of notified me of this tragic ending..... but no, I find out as if it's spoken by a mistress and I'm losing a loved one. Service was lacking. As seated, I see my seat is dirty. I mention this...Then I'm shocked how it unfolds. The Waiter is notified. The Waiter is yelling at the busboy glued to the TV. He Yells twice, still glued. I thought on more yell, I gotta go...finally my seat is cleaned. Next... My order gets started, then the waitress leaves abruptly to seat people at the door. The sushi was absolutely phenomenal. This was my 2nd time ordering out. The 4 stars is the reflection of food and customer service put together. Separating it I would give 5 stars for the food and customer service would be about a 3. I got the friendly greeting when I entered and I told her my name for my order. As soon as I let her know I had a coupon she went off to talk to someone in her preferred language and I got a dirty look.
