Decided to try this place on a Friday night after driving by many times. Parking lot spaces are limited I was lucky to grab one of the spaces in the front. I placed my order over the phone for the 2 item dinner with chicken and scallops and the plus fried rice for an additional 75 cents. Took the food home although it's not Benihana but it's very close and delicious. Pricing is affordable of course $14 plus for more than one item. It's in a shopping center so as you know it's the whole waiting game for a space. The food is definitely affordable, I got the chicken and shrimp dinner combo and it was $15-$17. The amount of food is definitely worth it. The wait wasn't long for the food at all. I would definitely recommend calling the worker in ahead of time, some very loud and rough young men and women came in yelling across the restaurant at each-other. This place has imo, gone down the drain since my last review, the same employees that were once here have long gone. I ordered picked it up, and went home, once I sat down to eat it, the food was bad. The white rice I ordered was hard, and crunchy, not soft and fluffy like it should be. It also had a strong taste of "sink water". I drove back to get my money back, because one bite was enough to lose my appetite. The people there were so rude and unhelpful, they left me there just waiting and waiting. They didnt want to give me my money back and said they would just fix me another plate, the owner kept telling me theres nothing wrong with the food and that he wasnt going to give me my money back because he wasnt going to be out the cost of my plate. Well, what I received was something that resembled jerky, and some salty teriyaki drizzled on top of the salmon jerky, laid on a bed of spring mix greens. That's it. Ok, that's bad, enough right? Not quite yet. I ordered a side of shrimp tempura, and all I have to say is this. This place, avoid it. The pricing is garbage, the food was garbage. I wouldn't waste your time and money here. The food here is excellent and they definitely do not skimp out on the portions. I always get the fillet mignon with chicken and shrimp and it NEVER misses. The "downside" I guess you could say is the price at around $20 or so (give or take) a plate of the good stuff but I mean let's be real it's teppanyaki and it couldn't get any cheaper. They have some fire sauces to put on your food and it just makes everything 3000 times better than it already is.
