I have been wanting to try this hibachi restaurant for a while. I was very excited to be able to celebrate a birthday party here with my sister-in-law. The service was excellent. Our chef was amazing. He had wonderful jokes interacted with everyone at our table all around a very good time Pricing is what to be expected when you go to a hibachi restaurant, so there were no surprises there. The drinks were OK a little too sugary but overall still good. Now for our meals, most of us got the chicken and shrimp a few ordered salmon steak as well as lobster. All were fixed to perfection seasoned well just delicious. Looking forward to coming back.

I've been to Hana Tokyo too many times to count. I loved when Grace worked there! She's the sweetest person ever. However this last experience was not the greatest, the hosts were rude, not only to me, but multiple people in my party. It was my 30th birthday and they seemed so irritated and argumentative. The reason I'm not giving one star is because the guy who does hibachi (raiders guy) is always fun and super sweet! Him and the waitress really made the experience better. In my opinion, the host is the first person you deal with. It should feel warm and inviting, not like it's a chore. Hope this helps

One friend had been here a lot; other friend and I had never been. Walking in, the place is pleasant looking. We were there for lunch and were the only patrons. We were greeted and seated immediately. The server was wanting us to order immediately and we hadn't looked at the menu yet. We ordered the steak bento box, shrimp bento box, teriyaki chicken platter, 4 piece sushi, and 4 egg rolls. The meals came with soup for the teriyaki chicken (friend tried it and put it aside - no flavor). All 3 salads had waaaay too much dressing. The dressing was good but 1/4 of the amount of dressing would have been enough. The steak, shrimp and chicken were very good, as were the egg rolls and sushi. The sushi tuna, white fish and salmon was very fresh and perfectly prepared. I would have preferred a bit of lemon over the oranges pieces in the bento box. All in all, a nice meal. Except for the flavorless soup and over dressed salad, I'll go back.

I've been here a handful of times and it's been great! This time, not so much. First of all, if you want the hibachi lunch don't go on a holiday because they don't serve it. We didn't know that and when we went had to pick something else. My favorite dish we got was the Shrimp Yaki Udon. It was very filling and pretty tasty. The edamame was good, next time i'll try them with the garlic seasoning! The combo fried rice was alright. The rice was somewhat hard and overall, it just wasn't as flavorful. The sushi here is pretty fresh and good. The service was great! Our waitress was quick with everything and always made sure our drinks were filled. The ambiance of this place is very chill and every time I visit it's always somewhat empty.

Hana Tokyo is one of my go-to spots. The service is always kind and welcoming, and the food doesn't disappoint--delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

Food was great and staff is always very friendly. I like that they always have specials or happy hour. We reserved a hibachi table and our chef was amazing and so funny. We also came back another time and had the bento box which was our favorite. Recommend for family and friends. The place was clean and well kept.

Food was just OK. Service was excellent. All in all this place was OK but I don't think we will be returning

I got sick here after eating here. I guess that is what I get for eating sushi in the middle of the desert at a mockery such as this.

This was not what we expected but the staff was friendly and 1/2 patrons at the food hall were eating sushi. The stalls have big energy today and lots of patrons are searching for a seat. Why not give them a chance? The menu is fairly varied for a small pop-up with traditional and deep fried sushi rolls. The female wait staff is handing out egg drop soup samples to everyone, ever those eating pizza and gyros. Looking around, these rolls are huge. We chose the Sonoran roll with shrimp tempora, spicy tuna, spicy crab topped with seared salmon and yuzu sauce. This roll was flavorful and spicy. Another roll was the Samurai with shrimp tempora, cream cheese, avacado wrapped in soy paper deep fried and covered with spicy crab / shrimp mix baked in a spicy aioli and eel sauce. This was our favorite roll with a pop in the tempora shrimp and an uncious taste coupled with a bite. Our third and final roll was the heart attack. Another spicy roll with shrimp tempora, avacado, cream cheese topped with jalepeno, spicy crab and chef sauce. Again, another good roll and a ton of food. This food mall is in an unassuming neighborhood with a smiling server who is hustling like crazy. The sushi was good, unique and tasty. It was a huge amount of food. Give this hard working staff and chance, she is enthusiastic and working hard. To the staff at Samurai Sombrero who are working hard and obviously, not a trained sushi chef. To the public, take a chance, give Samurai Sombrero a try and judge for yourself.

I opted for the #3 lunch special (3 pieces of sushi and a roll + miso soup) for $14. All reasonable, given that it's sushi, but I'll be honest, this still-growing-boy needed a bit more after that! Staff was attentive to all entrees and drinks (refilling my friend's diet coke 3 times!) and had zero problem with doing 4 separate checks too. Chirashi was similar with abandon of fresh sashimis and rice. (see photos below) Their sushi boat ($59) is always a delightful feast for multiple people. Their servers are very friendly and attentive to all customers too. I highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers. (Other Note: Ordered same dishes from Kazoku sushi on Feb 3rd because Sushi Cho was closed. Their Hamachi kamas were much smaller, charred, no garnishes and more expensive ($18). Their Chirashi ($35) sashimis are very fresh too, but not as much and not as many kinds as Sushi Cho.)

We had a table so we'd be able to watch the TVs since baseball was on. Our servers named is Cassandra and she was the best server I think we've ever had, she was so kind and helpful. She made sure to keep checking in and keeping us ordering more and more food. We asked what items she liked the most, and she was spot on for all her recommendations. We stayed I think 3 hours and just took our time trying different food items and the only one that needs work is the tempura it was undercooked and not crispy enough. My favorite item was the fried fish, and my cocktail the Pineapple Express. I had read a some reviews before going and we did hear they had a lot of bad reviews from previous staff. The restaurant has definitely turned around from what you've read, so if you had a bad first impression I would recommend going back and trying them again. The one thing I do want to throw out there is the lack of bartenders that's my only call out. My mom wanted an old fashioned and the guy who made it was a bar back and had no experience making drinks. So once you fix that then I think you'll be killing it. So until that happens my rating will be 4 stars, so that way there's a chance for improvement. Next time I'm visiting I will be coming back and hopefully Cassandra is still working, she's one of your best workers.
