I got the laulau and squid luau. The plate also comes with lomi salmon and haupia. For dessert I also got the single scoop of Sweet Lady of Waiahole $8.40. It's warm kulolo with haupia ice cream. The Hawaiian food from this place is delicious. It's to be expected, since the original location has been around since 2009. I loved everything on my plate except the squid luau. Usually, squid luau is my favorite. However, they don't make their squid luau sweet. I like mine sweet. I just took it home and added brown sugar. It was perfect after that. Their Sweet Lady of Waiahole is a must try. The warm kulolo is so good with the haupia ice cream. Get this!!!!!

My friends told me at the OG location, the poi is fresh but what we got still tasted super good to me even though it may have been refrigerated. I got to try the Squid Luau too from my friends and it was DELICIOUS. I mean perfect amount of coconut milk to taro leaves with tender squid! If I lived here, I'd be getting Hawaiian food at least once a month lol! To end this onolicious foodie trip, my friends suggested the Sweet Lady of Waiahole (which they got) but I'm not a huge fan of Kulolo so I got the Tahitian Sweet Lady because I love Banana and it was the perfect way to melt and linger in my palate. Upon entering, there is a table with an ordering menu that you fill out for the ice cream. There are no cones and no "parlor" for ice cream- only written options. The standard flavors of vanilla, creamy strawberry and chocolate are available as base choices. There were two "special" flavors of the day that was kona mud pie and another unique option. You can check off on the menu PER item how you want your ice cream in regards to toppings, syrups, in a cup or bubble waffle, single scoop or multiple scoops, etc. Hubby ordered a boba tea that you don't need to fill out on the menu sheet. I'm personally not a huge fan of boba, but he enjoyed it. The lime grape boba tea was what he ordered. Toppings were included in the price. There were plenty of other toppings to choose for free and others with a fee. The waffle came out soft and warm and was tasty. It only came with a small piece of Reese's and we didn't taste the condensed milk until we got to the bottom. The portion is big and very sweet so it's perfect for sharing. The place is small but has some seats inside. There was only a couple in front of us and service was quick. I'll have to try the bubble tea next time.

We tried lilikoi cream, guava cream, Madagascar vanilla, and chocolate hazelnut. Let me say, it was a hard choice to make but we ended up picking chocolate hazelnut and lilikoi cream. Both flavors were a hit at the party. Cristi was just amazing to work with. Being able to make a full sheet with 2 flavors and the most beautiful cake decorations inspired by just the invitation. To celebrate Brown's birthday, I searched my Yelp app and found Napoleon's Bakery. Located inside of Zippy's, this bakery is convenient, has free parking, lots of variety, and has friendly service. We chose a Pianomo Roll, a chocolate-filled donut, and a famous Apple Napple. The Pianomo Roll is great for simple palates because it's a soft cake, rolled in butter and granulated sugar! For chocolate lovers, the chocolate-filled donut is just right because the fluffy yeast donut surrounds the rich center to balance it. Rounding out our sugar rush, we got the flakey Apple Napple. The crunchy exterior and fruity filling helped to satisfy our sweet tooths! If you haven't had anything from Napoleon's Bakery, other recommended items are the Long Johns, Chantilly cake, and Dobash cake. If you're celebrating a special occasion, they can write a greeting with icing on the cake!
