I have always loved the vegan ramen in Jinya. After moving to San Diego, going to Jinya has been tricky because it's all near LA. Luckily for us, we were in the area and found a Jinya close by. I can't express how excited we were. Parking was easy. As soon as we walked it, we felt nostalgic. I have been to the Jinya in Austin over 20 times and the ambiance was consistent with what I was familiar with. We did sign up for their rewards program that got us free dessert! We first ordered some warm sake. It was a cold day so it was the perfect way to get started. The sake came out quickly and as expected - it was perfect! We next got the spicy vegan ramen bowls. The food took a bit but it was worth the wait. The ramen looked delicious. We couldn't wait to dig in. The ramen was packed with flavors and we literally inhaled the food. The portion size was perfect. The vegan ramen was packed with tofu and vegetables and had yummy sauces. Lastly, we got some matcha mochi ice cream. This was tasty too. If you love ramen and haven't found your ramen place, go give Jinya a shot! You won't be disappointed!

The first thing you'd notice walking in here is that everything feels very classy. They also have a reward program for you to earn extra goodies during your visits, like a free niku-bun or ice cream. Our server was also super sweet. She got very excited when we ordered the J Girl cocktail because she said she knows how to make it and would make it personally for us. I think she did a good job because I sipped it way quicker than I thought and it was gone. It's a mocktail, so you get a lot of the fruity and refreshing flavors from it. Currently the chef's special is the Tokyo Yatai Classic, which was so rich in the broth flavor. Now the chashu literally melts in your mouth here and the way they cook the egg is perfect. You see those perfect soft boiled eggs in ramen or anime? They got the technique to show you that in real life. The tonkatsu red ramen can be adjusted for spiciness. If it's your first time, start at 2 or 3. We went in at a level 6 and they had to warn us. I definitely felt that kick, but my fiance loved that level. It was impressive to try a place that delivered everything they promised, from the egg and chashu to the strong fire in their ramen. The salmon taco here actually works pretty well. They are a little small, so unless it's happy hour or you really want to try, they can be a bit pricy. But because of their size, they're much easier to eat and the shell compliments the salmon texture very well.

Neighborhood Favorite Spicy Chicken Ramen and Kiwi Sparkler Mocktail!! An absolutely heavenly pairing

I checked in yesterday and had such a fabulous time thanks to Adrina my Server, Bartender, and Top Shelf Brand Ambassador! I was craving something soupy and comforting because of the chilly weather so I decided to pop into Jinyas to see what the Company's latest Seasonal Lineup tastes like. Adrina welcomed me in quickly and informed me I could sit anywhere I like, and tidied up my dining space by removing the excess place settings since I was dining solo! I loved the upscale exquisitely chic decor and all the breathtaking photographs and clear descriptions of Jinya's vast and sophisticated Food and Beverage Selection! I decided to order the Kiwi Sparkle Mocktail and Spicy Chicken Ramen in the mild spice level, followed by the Salmon Poke Tacos and Matcha Tiramisu for dessert. Everything tasted fabulous and exceeded my expectations in freshness quality and Artful presentation, especially the Kiwi Sparkler! I love studying the Art of High Sophistication Mocktails and really appreciated Adrina for taking the time to build me one that looked even better than the model shown in the Photograph. Adrina's Kiwi Sparkler was extra stunning and equally as delicious, and I appreciated her presentation skills detailing the lovely ingredients and smart methodologies used to create such an unforgettable and healthfully charming masterpiece. I appreciated how clean the restrooms were and the warm and welcoming friendly smiles from the whole Team while I happily wandered around the Cave! Adrina was super helpful in explaining to me how to download the Jinya App to get my fun rewards and have a reason to return to mindfully tango with the other fun and seductive mocktails ;0) Thank you to the Jinya Team for being such focused and effective Professionals, I can't wait to return and bring my Besties with me for more wildly satisfying Culinary Roller Coaster Rides here!

We came here on a Weeknight to celebrate a birthday. I've been coming here pretty regularly, usually preferring a take out during the weekdays. But! It was a special occasion so we decided to dine in. Parking is never an issue, we were greeted, and seated promptly. The issue came when we met our waitress. This was our second time being served by her. She seems like she was in a bad mood! And was taking it out on us. We were advised from her that 10 pcs karage happy hour would only save us 2 cents. Then when the chicken came out, it came with a soy sauce for us to dip it into. We asked for a mayo and said it'd be a dollar extra. The red ramen had a warning for additional charge as well if you go over level 6 spicy, and the chashu bowl had very cold mushrooms and barely any sauce! We had given this place so many tries and celebrated different occasions here, but this was our last straw dining here. Between the mediocre ramen, higher price point, moody waitress, and being nickle-dimed for everything, this last experience did it for me.

Decent ramen, but I would say it's only worth it during happy hour from 2-7pm. We ordered the ramen + combo meal. Red ramen + pork chashu and salad. The ramen bowl was actually a bit on the smaller side, but I liked that their noodles were harder. Chashu pork bowl was filling and tasty, but a lot of fatty pork and wood ear toppings. Karaage during happy hr was for 5 pieces, but I was surprised how big the pieces were. They also have small snacks and beer/cocktails on the happy hr menu. Food came out quick, with attentive service. Check it out if you like ramen !

I hadn't been here in over five years, so it definitely felt like a long-overdue return... I was craving ramen and remembered this spot being pretty solid, so I stopped by for lunch. The restaurant itself is really nice; spacious, clean, and comfortable... It also wasn't very busy during my visit, which made it a relaxing place to eat.. One small disappointment was the happy hour timing. I arrived just before it started, and unfortunately, the happy hour items weren't available... It would've been nice if there was a little flexibility, but it is what it is.. I ordered the shrimp and pork dumpling ramen, and it was pretty good !!! flavorful and satisfying... I also tried the matcha lychee tea, which I'm guessing is a newer drink. It was decent, refreshing, and a nice pairing with the meal.. Service was okay overall... My server seemed new and a bit nervous, and she forgot a couple of things, but she was still polite and trying her best. All in all, it was a good experience. It's close to home, so it's still one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in the mood for ramen. Definitely worth a visit, especially during happy hour!!!

Where's the broth? Like what a joke

Ordered ramen online and was pretty disappointed when I got home and opened the bag. When I picked it up it was stapled at the top and I should have checked before I left but how hard can 1 order of ramen to go be right? That was my first mistake assuming it was all in there. So upon opening the container I notice that there is barely any broth to go with my ramen like I poured it in and didn't see broth with my noodles (they should be submerged in broth right) ? See attached photo for that. Second I added bok choy that was $3-4 and it was pathetic there was 2 small pieces of baby bok Choy and it was steamed so much it look shriveled and unappetizing (even had lots of speckled black dots that looked questionable). I added garlic and spicy sauce (which was an up-charge) and neither was in the bag. What a joke. $30 For ramen and the order not being right is crazy. Never again. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere peeps

Came to Juniya with some family and friends for a late night eat. Felt like having some ramen on a rainy night. I ordered the Jinya Tonkotsu Black with the spicy sauce on the side. It was yummy and I also ordered the Smokey Wokashi Old Fashioned which was tasty. Until next time, Enjoy!

I've been here twice so far. The ramen is good and the broth is flavorful. I usually get the spiciest level they have. I'm not a fan of their side dishes and appetizers as they are a bit lackluster. Service is good and the staff is always friendly.

We came here during lunch on Thursday with my team from work. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and a work anniversary. The staff were really nice and sat us quickly. We ordered the fried chicken as an appetiser and it was delicious! The portion was larger than what I expected. The chicken was crunchy and juicy in the inside. Everyone in our party ordered ramen but me. They all loved their ramen. I ordered the poke bowl. I was expecting a smaller since the menu showed "small" next to it and I know poke tends not to be cheap. I ended up being the only one with a box because it was bigger than expected. While the group was sitting, I mentioned to the hostess about the birthdays. They did a really nice gesture of bringing dessert with the plate showing "happy birthday". My team was very surprised and appreciated it. I now feel like I am missing to try the ramen. I've had it a while ago in Vancouver and I have good memories of it. I will for sure be back and bring my bf along.

Come on jun 4, Wednesday 9pm We came and i saw that the restaurant is pretty slow. She asked us that we need to wait for 10-15 minutes . At first, i feel confused because there is a lot of empty table but we still need to wait. I still trying to be patient I saw the queue line that there is 2 people and 1 person that not been sitting . I feel confused when she said that they don't have enough employees. After that we have been sitting 9.08 and i order 2 water , crispy chicken , tonkotsu ramen black, and spicy chicken ramen. The crispy chicken come at 9.15 and the ramens come at 9.43 pm. Hm... for me i used to come to this restaurant for many times and today i need to wait almost 30 minutes just for ramens. It's not even busy. He just got 5 tables and some to go. I saw the other tables, their food comes slow as well. What makes me frustrated that they don't serve spoon on the table too. I need to ask the spoon. Overall, i saw 3 ladies and 2 men working on the restaurant. I feel some disappointment today. I used to came here and everything is so excellent and fast. I finish my whole bowl, but to be honest, their ramen broth is not even Hot . I don't even know how they serve it. Tekstur of the noodle is too firm, maybe they didn't cook it well or they leave for along time before serving to my table. I also tried the spicy chicken broth, it's too plain ( no flavor) , Crispy chicken is good. However, the tonkotsu ( meat) tastes weird. Maybe this is my last come! What a disappointment for ramen that price around 18$ with what i get !

They make some of the best boba I've ever had. I've been drinking their boba since the '90s, when they first opened a tea shop in Anaheim. If you love tea, you'll LOVE this place. The tea tradition behind boba originated in Taiwan, the birthplace of boba milk tea, and you can really taste the quality here. My favorite is their brown sugar milk tea with egg pudding. It's never bland...you can always taste the tea and the egg pudding is so creamy! My husband and kids love their Teazers (slush drinks) too. They don't let the ice dilute the flavor, and my husband always complains when other places serve slush drinks that are already half melted. You definitely don't have that problem here. This has been my favorite boba place of all time for decades!

I am beyond frustrated. This has now happened to me TWICE when ordering Ten Ren's through DoorDash…read more Both times, a Dasher was apparently able to pick up my order from the restaurant, then cancel/unassign from the delivery afterward, leaving me without my food. At this point, this is not just an inconvenience--it is a serious issue with how orders are being verified at pickup. I hold both Ten Ren's and DoorDash responsible for allowing this to happen repeatedly. Ten Ren's should be verifying that the person picking up an order is actually the assigned Dasher and confirming the pickup before handing over the food. DoorDash also needs better safeguards to prevent drivers from taking an order and then canceling or unassigning afterward. Once is frustrating. Twice is unacceptable. Customers should not have to worry about whether their food is actually going to make it to them after they've already paid for it. There needs to be a better verification process between Ten Ren's and DoorDash so this stops happening.

One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. Yoshioishi Sushi & Ramen had solid reviews, so we decided to pivot and give it a try. First impression: the menu is extensive. It's one of those places where you almost don't know where to start. The fan favorites are marked with a red flower, which helped narrow things down. We also asked our server for suggestions, which made it easier to navigate. We arrived just before 5pm and there was only one other table. We were told to sit anywhere we'd like. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and it seemed like there were quite a few regulars coming in. Here's what we tried: Salted edamame: Just average. A bit limp and not as crisp as I'm used to, so they didn't feel especially fresh. Gyoza: Really nice flavor and the dipping sauce was well balanced. These were solid. Yellowtail jalapeño sashimi: This was different in a good way. It had cilantro and a slightly sweeter sauce instead of the traditional garlic ponzu. Unexpected, but a pleasant surprise. Crispy chicken karaage: Slightly over fried but still flavorful. The dipping sauce helped. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Just okay. One piece barely had tuna on top. Not bad, but not something I'd reorder. Cucumber salad: Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce, which surprised us, but the dressing had great flavor. This disappeared quickly. Nigiri: The salmon was incredibly fresh and one of the highlights. The albacore and toro came topped with fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the salmon and albacore. The toro didn't quite melt in your mouth like we hoped. It was a bit chewy. Crazy Salmon Roll: Good flavor, but note that the salmon on the outside is fully cooked. We expected raw, so just something to keep in mind. Snow Mountain Roll: A fan favorite at the table. Great texture and flavor. Plain udon and plain ramen: Both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. We definitely over ordered, but we left very full. One small detail for fellow tea lovers: I always look forward to hot tea at a Japanese restaurant, especially when it's served in a small pot you can refill at the table. Here it was hot water with a tea bag in a metal cup, which was too hot to comfortably hold, and there was no teapot provided. Not a deal breaker, but next time I'd probably skip the tea. Service was strong. In addition to our main server, two other team members checked in and refilled water regularly, which we appreciated. Overall, I'd call it a 3.5 if that were an option, so I'm landing at 3 stars. The food was decent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the service attentive. It didn't completely wow us, but we're glad we tried it.

First time coming here to Yoshioishi Sushi and Ramen as I was craving for some ramen after my trip…read moreto Japan. Let's just say its good that they offer a wide variety of sushi, rolls, and ramen but the flavor is under par. Plus the high prices make it hard to enjoy. Indoor restaruant was dark and didn't have a bright welcoming ambiance. Staff was quick to speak to us and get us seated which was good. The Crunch Onion Albacore was around $18 and it was Ok tasting. I have had fresher albacore before. Their avocado salad $8 was surprisingly tasty so I will definitely get this one again. Apparenlty they charge $3 for a side of white rice. Their Tonkotsu ramen for $16 was OK as well. Not hot ramen but served a bit lukewarm. Not sure what was going on but in a way I can eat it right away but I am used to having it piping hot with steam and a richer flavor. Also got their green tea $3.50 and ice water but the service in refilling the water was slow, especcially with an empty restaurant. Yikes! All in all, it was my first time here. I did see them having a Happy Hour special so I will try that next time.
