Nice new place. Place is at the end of a strip mall on Bollinger Rd., beside Home Depot. Ladies helpful and provided a good massage.

As a disclaimer, this was only my third or fourth massage, so please read my review with the knowledge that I'm no massage expert! What worked; -- It was very easy and quick to make an appointment online. I was able to quickly book a next day session -- There was plenty of parking nearby and the place was easy to find -- The waiting room was clean and relaxing -- The massage room was quiet and comfortable, and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly -- We paid at the start and tipped that the end, which is a decent system What didn't work: -- My biggest issue is that the massage itself was very painful. Again, I'm new to massages, but even after asking the masseuse to go lighter three times, it was still too intense for me. I noticed that the masseuse (I didn't catch her name) applied tons of pressure to bony areas (shoulder blade, spine, tail bone, etc) which definitely hurt. This was a deep tissue massage, but it felt like a lot of the pressure was focused on my bonier areas rather than on my muscles. I wish the masseuse had been more responsive to my feedback or had checked in to make sure the pressure was okay. It's been a few hours since the massage and I'm feeling uncomfortably tender. I will also note that my partner shared that their massage went well, so my experience may just be unique to me. -- The masseuse also didn't replicate her massage techniques on each side of my body. For example, she popped the fingers of one hand but not the other, stretched one of my legs and not the other. I'm not sure if this was intentional but it seemed odd. -- Not a big issue, but we did have to wait about 15-20 minutes after our original appointment time to do our massage. I didn't mind waiting, but it may be wise not to make any time sensitive plans immediately after your visit here Overall, this place was not for me! I didn't love my massage therapist's work but someone seeking a lot of intensity in their massage may enjoy them more. My partner enjoyed their massage so it seems that experience varies depending on who your masseuse is.

Like others mentioned, the environment is decent clean. My masseur started with using hot towels to wipe my back, making me feeling relax. Throughout the entire 90 minutes, the masseur use various techniques to treat different tidiness areas, with making sure with me if I was okay with the pressure. I am not sure how many masseurs they have but I will definitely request the same one next time. Price is reasonable compared to other places in the area.

I called ahead to make an appointment for a 60 minute massage, but when I arrived, the only person available to do my massage was the receptionist. Kim did a good job on the massage (excellent pressure and very relaxing), but she had to run out a couple of times to address her front desk duties. I was happy with the massage, so I tipped 20%, which came out to be less than $20 (this is worth mentioning for what happens at my next appointment), then was on my way. I should also mention that on my way out, a man next to me at the counter who seemed to be a staff member but very well could have been a customer was clearly staring at me but not talking to me--creepy! 2nd experience (today): 1 star. I made an appointment for a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I arrived a bit early. No one was at the front desk, so I waited until 5 minutes before my appointment time to ring the bell. A different receptionist help me get set up and into my room. My therapist, Amanda, started my massage 10 minutes late, but to her credit, she made up the time so that I got my full 60 minutes. Although the pressure was fine (I needed the strong pressure for my knots and sore muscles), she was a bit rough and sloppy with the massage. For example, she would grab my skin so that it felt like I was being pinched (I discovered a bruise from this when I got home), and she yanked my underwear around a lot (she could have done this with more care). As a result, I only wanted to tip the minimum 15%, but after she counted how much I gave her in front of me(!!), she pulled out a sign that the business requires a minimum of a $20 tip for 60-minute massage because she couldn't express herself in English and got her coworker to explain that tipping at a massage parlor is different than tipping at a restaurant as the therapists work very hard. There are so many things wrong with this. My initial complaint is that they should be more transparent with their pricing by posting this sign up with their prices, but guess what? That's illegal, which is why they showed me a sign after the fact. Also, asking for a tip makes it not a tip. Finally, I would sure love to hear what restaurant servers have to say about her response because I guess servers don't work as hard as massage therapists? In all seriousness, if businesses need to provide a better wage for their workers, increase the massage price; tips need to be earned! Tips were traditionally meant To Insure Proper Service, but I definitely did not receive proper service. Try at your own risk, but the quality of your massage is hit or miss and I wouldn't want to support the business practices and customer service that I experienced.

That being said, as a general rule if you don't want any snarky comments or get shit on, don't tip less than a $20 for an hour or less than $25-30 for 90 minutes and even then $25 is pushing it, or you'll get attitude. I've been tipping a solid $20 for several years now, even back when people thought $10 was cool. Today we did a 90 and my wife didn't have cash so I gave her a $20 and we definitely received some snark. (My wife's therapist grabs the $20, looks at it for a few seconds, then in an incredulous voice looks at me and goes "how long your massage, 90?" The English wasn't perfect but I got the message, loud and clear) I managed to find another $5 and got a snarky "thanks" with some stank in the voice. I get it. Inflation is up, the economy is down, and it ain't 2018 anymore. I'm actually in agreement these ladies need to be tipped well for the job they do. But today's snark made it awkward and weird af. We enjoyed coming here for years because the massage has been consistently good, no question. But the attitude today has made it too weird to continue coming here, frankly it was a little annoying and embarrassing. I wish them well and definitely come here if you want solid bodywork done, but expect some snark if you forget your cash (guess I could have Venmoed). We have been coming here for several years and literally just moved to the area really close to this location, but we won't be coming back here for massage.

What I appreciate most is that they take the time to understand my specific focus areas and adjust the massage based on what my body needs that day. They really listen and tailor the session to what works best for me, whether it's deep tissue focus, recovery, or overall relaxation. And then they always take time to make me feel comfortable. Another thing that stands out is their flexibility and customer service. Many times I've reached out last minute because I happened to be nearby or wanted to book same day, and they've often been able to accommodate me with therapists ready to go. Consistently professional, clean, reliable, and high quality service. Highly recommend.

I had already planned to leave a tip, but when it wasn't what they considered their "minimum," I was questioned about it and even laughed at. That alone was unprofessional, but it didn't stop there. The front desk staff then pulled out a tip sign that was hidden behind another sign--something that should have been clearly visible from the start if it's truly their policy. On top of that, I was charged more on my card than what I was told. Fifteen percent does not equal twenty percent, and that kind of discrepancy is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the towels used during the service had a noticeable mildew smell, especially the one placed on my face, which completely took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. Overall, between the lack of transparency, pressure around tipping, being overcharged, and poor hygiene standards, this was not a professional or comfortable environment. I would not recommend this place.
