March 13, 2026 Taking chance hope stays. I note lately any FIVE STAR rates I write, for updates, the entire comments for it all getting deleted. If stays, will be update Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please, one thousand three hundred eighty three! Child menu is increasing in price. Used to be $9.61 with tax! It is now $12.83 with tax. As I tell Braden, he is helping me today, is either here or nearby call think Sum Mongolian! Sum Mongolian now $17.99 before tax for lunch, rounding off $18.00 before tax! Okay for me and child menu eleven dollars plus tax or less, that seems be reasonable for me! However, twelve dollars and eighty three cents with tax, portion was huge. Comes with bowl of Miso Soup, the meal strips chicken teriyaki, rice, pine apples, salad with tomatoes and celery, dressing! Thank to Owner of Omiyage for "sending" me here! Thank to Braden for all your help!

Excellent food, we always enjoy our meal. The beef ukiyaki and hamachi kama specifically are always fantastic. Noticed there weren't any updated photos of the menu - hope this helps someone!

I was in Auburn today and wanted some suishi for lunch. Today is May 7th..see my receipt. This is a small unpretentious place located in a really cute area of downtown Auburn surrounded by cute shops and historical places to visit. I had the spicy tuna roll...very tasty with extra wasabi! My friend ordered the crab and avocado roll..also very good. The rice in their rolls is so soft..however they are preparing it makes the rolls even better! The suishi staff was quick and friendly. I would say the waitress was a bit distracted by a friend that came in but she still did a good job. They have indoor and outdoor seating plus more seating upstairs. They have beer and wine and sake. Overall..great location..great menu! Definitely will be back! Ps..get the lunch specials ,more bang for the buck if you are hungry!

I work right down the street from here and finally went in during lunch on a Friday with my husband. It's such a cute, little restaurant and so good. The UFO is addicting. Everything was amazing and I went back the next day by myself for some more UFO and the Miso Soup with clams to go. The service was great as well.

Wow that was some good Sushi!!! Loved their wasabi. I had the Alaskan and the Philly, both had layers of flavor and melted in my mouth.

Happy Mother's Day!!…read more Today for Mother's Day, we decided to celebrate with my neighbor and have the best sushi in town here at Jinme. Jinme is consistent. Delicious every single time... so tonight, we celebrated with my daughter. We sat right away and how gorgeous was it tonight!? Balloons, streamers, and Mother's Day table cloths. After a little bit, our server came over and we ordered sunomono and vegetable tempura. Their vegetable tempura was a mixture of the vegetables, in one. Like a birds nest. It came with 4 pieces and a dipping sauce. It was different, but very good. The sunomono (cucumber salad) was cut in half into thin slices without the seeds, and the dressing on it was delicate and went so good with the cucumbers. Quite a bit of time had passed and we were given some complimentary spring rolls to snack on. The sauce it came with was a little spicy & sweet. We ordered a Simba roll, Auburn City roll, 49ers Roll, the Ultimate Roll, and salmon sashimi. All looked fantastic! The sashimi came with miso (as an appetizer). We will ended up sharing everything with each other. I really like that baked salmon roll (Simba). It has a sweet mayo on top. The Salmon Sashimi is my favorite bc the salmon on top is made with high quality salmon belly. The freshness makes me crave this often. The 49ers roll was delicious. It was different from your regular sushi rolls with rice in the outside. it had an entire cucumber casing on the outside of it. The Auburn Roll has thick pieces of red rings and salmon throughout... what a dream... Lastly, we ordered moochi ice cream and deep fried strawberry ice cream... both were out of this world!! This was the first time I have ordered dessert here and it was phenomenal! Strawberry just gets me! Our service was great! The decorations were a cute touch, too. Jinme went above and beyond to make us feel special on Mother's Day!

I tried a slice of their peach pie and apple pie ($7.99 each). I really enjoyed the apple pie! It was absolutely filled with apples, wasn't too sweet, and lightly spiced so the apples really shined. The crust wasn't extremely buttery or flaky but it held up well. I liked that it wasn't too rich tasting. The peach pie's filling was moister so the bottom crust was softer than I'd like but I thought the chunky yellow peach filling was tasty. I came back again later and got a whole apple pie ($30) to bring home. I also tried the steak pie ($14.99 I think) which had tender beef, carrots, peas, potato pieces in a savory sauce. I thought the crust went really well with the beef and veggie filling. It was hearty and comforting, but a touch on the salty side. Their ambrosia apples were sweet and not tart at all. They're not as sweet as honey crisp or sugar bee apples but I still liked snacking on them. Overall, I give Ikeda's 5 stars mainly because of the apple pie but I thought everything I tried was good. Some non-food notes I also appreciated: the service was warm and friendly, there's a decent amount of onsite parking, there are some tables and chairs outside so you can eat your goods immediately, and the bathrooms wer

This is such a fun place with sooooo many things to buy. From fresh fruit, to apparel, to fresh deli salads, to poke bowls, to cheese, to chips and salsas, to bakery items, and of course pies! You will absolutely find something you want here. There is also an area for hot food to order like burgers and sandwiches. There are so many pie flavors to choose from. There are slices and whole pies. I got the poke plate with rice, Dutch apple pie and peach cobbler and everything was delicious! There is indoor seating and covered outdoor seating as well. Plenty of parking too, but I would guess the parking lot gets very full early in the day. I will absolutely be back soon!

The day before the race, I arrived in Auburn (my first time ever) to pick up my race bib and to look around to take in the local culture. I was also hungry after flying into Sacramento and driving another 45 minutes to Auburn. I'm vegan, so I searched for local places that offer vegan options. Nectar Cafe was at the top of the search results. As luck would have it, Nectar Cafe was just a short walk from where I parked my car, and just a short walk from the Start/Finish line of the race. Man... I am so glad this restaurant exists. The food and the service were great. I had the Southwestern Wrap and a brownie. I was so happy with this place that I knew I had to go back the following day after my race. And that's exactly what I did. The following day I had a BBQ Burger with their own house made patty. And this time I had even more dessert. All the desserts are vegan, and they are awesome! I tried all of them. The chocolate chip cookie, the brownie, and the chocolate mousse were delicious. I highly recommend Nectar Cafe. Really. I highly recommend them. I look forward to eating at Nectar Cafe the next time I'm in town.
