Auburn City Rolls + Salmon and Hamachi Nigiri !!!
    Megan S.

Order: VEGGIE SPRING ROLL | AUBURN CITY SUSHI ROLLS | HAMACHI NIGIRI | SALMON NIGIRI Delicious!!! We adored our experience - all of our food was so fresh and exactly what we were hoping for. Julian was a rockstar and we'd come back for his service alone! But also for the chef's awesome sushi. Great spot!

Dang this place disappointed me yesterday.. went there at 7:30pm and was ignored until I asked if someone would take our order 30 min later. It was busy but at least say something ya know? Also they didn't have uni :( and they never made my kani but charged us for it.... ‍ and the rice was SO dry, like I think they turned off the rice cooker or something and made it. It was so sad... and way too much rice with no fish this time :( it's unfortunate this place isn't consistent... maybe I will give it one more chance.

Great service food is always good .. Cherry Blossom highly recommended! Always have had a good experience going here for lunch or dinner!

I had a group of five myself and four boys. We got the restaurant 45 minutes before closing. The service is quick, efficient and thorough. The food that we received was some of the best Ramen I've ever tasted was just a little bit of kimchi to add a different kick . That was really nice. The chicken appetizers were phenomenal steak with tender seasoned not overcooked. I wished I live close to this place but because I'd be here every day great food great service great people.

Fantastic food and great variety. Everyone there was incredibly kind and friendly. They even comped us dessert for no apparent reason. It was our first time there. It will be a must-stop every time we are going through Auburn. We may even make a special trip.

I was really disappointed with my experience eating here. It was very busy and very loud in the restaurant, which is obviously not the establishment's fault....but it took a substantial amount of time for our server to actually acknowledge us and take our order, which they messed up by forgetting my husband's entree. The sushi was not very tasty, with the Spicy Johnny Roll tasting extremely fishy. The saving grace was the Chicken Teriyaki bowl which was very good. $100+ bill definitely not worth it and bummed I decided to spend my birthday evening here. I would MAYBE come back if I wanted a teriyaki bowl, but I would steer clear of the sushi.

The food is always great every time we come. One of our favorite Auburn spots. We love the sushi rolls and ramen especially!

I know I just did a review a couple of weeks ago but I had to do another one because of how great this place is! My son chose Jinme for his 14th bday and it did not disappoint! They gave us a mochi dessert for my son on the house with candles and sang happy birthday . We tried the kimchi fried rice for the first time and it was delicious ! They give you a generous serving of wine for only $6 and spring rolls on the house . This place truly is a gem with awesome food and service . They made my son's birthday special and he was so glad he chose Jinme. John is a great server !

Food is always satisfying. Not necessarily above average, but always fresh and yummy...standard as far as sushi goes. I haven't tried the Korean food, so this review is a bit limited. The service is always very sweet and on point. They give little extra treats on the house... I'd love to think I'm special but they probably do this for everyone.

Great place to grab sushi or ramen... even a bento box! I've been to Jinme several times and almost always get sushi. Their fish is very fresh and decently priced for the quality that you get. Don't expect any 50% off rolls here! That being said, they also have ramen in their name, so I figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did! I met a friend for dinner and she brought her dog (he goes with her everywhere). They have outdoor seating, so it is the spot to be if you have a dog with you. The outdoor seating area was covered and is well lit for dining at night like we were. The staff were very accommodating and even brought a bowl of water for her dog! Our server was very outgoing and bubbly. Great qualities to have. Now the food- we started with the garlic edamame, which was cooked and coated in garlic. It was a perfect amount of garlic... not overpowering, but a perfect amount. Wasn't sure that was even possible! We ate the whole bowl because it was so delicious, which is rare because we always seem to have leftover edamame. Not this time! I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, which comes with braised pork belly, egg, tempura shrimp, spinach, bamboo shoots, wood ear, bean sprouts, and green onions in a house pork broth. So flavorful! The bamboo shoots were some of the best I've had. The ramen noodles were green, which was unexpected, but had great flavor... they must have been spinach based. The tempura shrimp was still crispy even though it was in the broth. Overall, the ramen was great and a perfect portion. Not a HUGE bowl, yet enough to fill me up. My friend got the Beef Teriyaki bowl. What you'd think is your basic bowl- teriyaki beef over vegetables and rice. But, oh my gosh, the beef was so tender! Almost like Bulgogi tender. I was actually jealous of her meal. I'll probably get that next time. Also a perfect serving size. Overall, a great place to grab some sushi, Korean, Japanese, or ramen. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good.

Yum yum ribs, amazing flavor, even ate the cabbage! Ribs were crispy and fried so not necessarily moist, but it was a very good combo

Ask the Community - Jinme Ramen & Sushi Bar

Corkage fee? Do they allow to bring wine in?

    What does "Jinme" mean?

It translates to "true taste." This is according to the owners.

Is there any gluten free options for sushi rolls?

Most of the sushi rolls would be gluten free. As gluten is a product of wheat, you'd likely want to avoid the soy sauce that's provided.

So there I was... sitting on an oil rig in Alaska, talking to a sheriff's deputy with over 20 years…read moreon the job. He says, "My buddies keep telling me about this place called Pho King Good." Funny part? Even he had never been there. Well, that little story stuck with me. Fast forward a few weeks. My road trip partner, Koda, and I are heading home from Disneyland, cutting through Sacramento toward Grass Valley. We roll into Auburn and BOOM there it is. Pho King Good. Now let's just take a second to appreciate that name. If you're gonna swing for the fences with a name like Pho King Good, you've set the bar about as high as Mount Everest. You don't get to be "pretty decent." You'd better make me question every bowl of pho I've ever eaten. The sign? Absolutely iconic. It practically jumps out and hollers at you from the side of the road. Easy in, easy out. Road-tripper approved. Walking inside, though, I was expecting a little more "Pho King Palace" and a little less "we've been meaning to remodel since the Clinton administration." The marble counter looked nice enough, but the place just felt like it needed a little love. If I owned a restaurant with a name that good, I'd lean into it. Give me lanterns. Give me atmosphere. Make me feel like the King just walked in. Charge me another couple bucks if you have to I wouldn't mind if the experience matched the name. Then came the menu. It felt a little like Dysfunction Junction. They had everything listed, but it wasn't organized in a way that made ordering easy. Give me sections. House Pho. Beef Pho. Chicken Pho. Special Pho. Help a hungry traveler out. The food? Solid... right down the middle of the road. After hours in the car, a hot bowl of pho hits the spot no matter what. Koda really enjoyed his chicken dish, and our vegetable egg rolls with the peanut sauce were decent, although the wrapper was just a touch on the rubbery side. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which always counts for something. My only real disappointment was this: with a name like Pho King Good, I expected to leave saying, "That's the best pho I've ever had." Instead, I left saying, "That was... good." And then came the plot twist. Time to pay. Cash only. So now I'm walking out to the ATM like I'm making a withdrawal for a back-alley poker game or a dispensary run. I'm standing there thinking, "Well... this tip just took a hit because I wasn't planning on paying an ATM fee for my noodles." I still don't quite understand it. You're giving change, printing receipts, running a business... we're already 95% of the way to taking cards! Overall, this wasn't about whether the food was amazing or terrible. It was about the experience. Sometimes that's the story worth telling. Would I stop again on another road trip? Probably. Because sometimes a bowl of pho, your best buddy Koda riding shotgun, and a restaurant with the greatest pun in California are all you really need. And if they ever decide to polish the place up and make it live up to that legendary name... It might just become Pho King Great.

VEGAN SIGHTING!!! I…read moredon't even know where to start my fellow vegans. This quirky, Vietnamese restaurant in the city of Auburn, CA, has by far the best vegan Banh Mi sandwich. The tofu was prepared so it did not take up the whole sandwich. The pickled radish and carrots had the perfect and balanced of sour and sweet. Of course, can't leave out the herbs of cilantro and fresh jalapinjoes. The french bread was crispy outside but still soft and hearty as you take a bite. My earth was it a 2 thumbs up!!! Then their vegan pho with veggies and tofu did not disappoint. Their veggie broth was perfectly blended and made wonderfully that I was not even thinking this was vegan. The staff was kind and informative. They were attentive and friendly. Then comes the merch. If you like a play on the word Pho, then come and check out their shirts for sale. All I have to say is "Life is Pho king good." With this said, another gem in Auburn, CA.

Yoshi…read moreRamen and Sushi, located at 6869 Douglas Blvd, Granite Bay, was a great and fun experience that satisfies just that. According to one of the nice servers, this business has been running since 2012, or for over a decade, and the food clearly shows this experience. This Chinese restaurant has everything from friendly staff and service to a delicious meal topped with perfectly plated condiments. It is located in the perfect place to not spend seemingly hours looking for parking and includes only a 30-second walk from your car, making it easily accessible. The restaurant was clean, and even fellow customers were friendly, which helped give this restaurant a great homey feel. I loved the atmosphere and pleasant impression and would truly suggest that you pay it a visit. Starting off strong, here are the top five things I loved about Yoshi Ramen and Sushi: The amazing atmosphere, the high quality of the food, the presentation of the meal, the kindness of the servers, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Each of these things blew me out of the water and gave me an overall great experience while eating. To start out, each aspect I took note of seemed better than the last. I started off by thinking the service was really nice, then I got to the actual food, and it seemed even better. This restaurant is also great for family dinners, as it gave me a chance to catch up with my siblings and take a break from my busy schedule. During my visit, the overall experience was wonderful; however, it was a little bit expensive, or around $20 for a bowl of ramen, and the food took a while to arrive. Though a bit pricey, the ramen came with many add-ins, such as egg, seaweed, and meat, making the price worth it. And the long wait was actually exactly what I needed to have good conversations with my family, as I have mentioned before. Once we did receive the food, however, it was worth the wait, and we all chowed down on our delicious, perfectly cooked ramen. This restaurant's hours were also the perfect time for a brunch, lunch, or dinner, giving you the option to have sushi any time and almost every day of the week. From 11:30am to 3pm, this restaurant runs its ramen factory delight before taking a break and then resuming the delicious business from 5pm to 8pm every day except for Wednesday, in which they are off. Moving on to the best part of the restaurant: The actual taste and texture of the food. I ordered the Yoshi Ramen, and after waiting, I was served a beautifully arranged bowl of ramen topped with many different add-ons and ingredients. It had a very mellow and soft texture with a very pleasant and almost sweet aroma. The add-ons were soft from the broth and tasted amazing mixed in with the ramen. The ramen was perfectly cooked and a complete level up from the cup of noodles I am so used to having at home. Overall the food itself was amazing, and I can't wait to go back soon. From the texture and taste of the food to the friendly service, I was so happy with this restaurant. I love ramen, and getting the chance to taste the real deal was a great experience. The calming feel of the restaurant and the attentiveness of the servers made my meal even more enjoyable and led me to believe that Yoshi Ramen and sushi truly do care about their customers. Overall, I was pleased with each aspect of this restaurant and can't wait for my next visit. I recommend this restaurant to all looking for a tasty meal with friendly service and delicious ramen and sushi!
