Our pork ribs were overly sweet and lacked that marinated flavor and our soups were not what we were expecting. The jamjatang tasted very bland and wasn't the typical Korean potato soup you expect which is more like a stew, with potatoes, and pork bones. This place seems like it would be more suited for an older crowd that is not looking for salty soups and have limited access to other Korean food options. Given the price of the soups and combos around $15-$18 we were pretty disappointed and agreed we probably would not be back.

Our server, while wonderful, did not explain how much the uni was and it was a doozy on our bill ($15 per single sushi piece; not for both as written on the menu so be attentive when you order!) This is a genuinely small business so there are only a few tables and some bar seating. Go when it's not rush hour to avoid crowds. They can get impacted. But the wait is always worth it. Stick to the raw bar. They have good quality fresh fish. Their makis (rolls) are also good if you want something more dynamic and bold but I like just plain raw fish on a bed of sushi rice.
