Ben there twice now. The first time was a pleasant surprise, even though they did not have their liquor license yet. We tried several appetizers and main courses of soup, chicken and seafood. All were exceptional. on our second trip, we tried different appetizers and chicken and seafood main dishes, which were exceptionally prepared and plentiful. On par with the food was their prompt and professional service. The waitress was pleasant and knowedgeable, making the meal even more enjouable. We highly recommend it. Came here for dinner this past Friday. we need going to get black bean noods over at Closter for years. gave this place a try. I got the black bean noodles with ground meat. Boo Boo got the noods but the black bean noodles sauce was fried.we shared the shrimp fried rice, the spicy seafood noodle soup with intestines. and the mixed seafood stir fry. Overall, its a good option but it didn't seem to wow us. they were busy Friday night. Service seemed rushed. they didn't come around to refill our water or tea. The portion is on the smaller side for me. The menu is larger than. I'd give this place some time but it wouldn't be my first option to done where the Closter place is closer for us. read more

Happy that they opened a location up by us. Plenty of parking in the lot and a lot of seats. The menu is also extensive -- multiple kinds of jajangmyun and fried rice and entrees including katsu. The jajang sauce tastes a little different than I'm used to, but everything else tasted great include the gangpoongi and shrimp fried rice. read more

We receive our food late than the people who arrived after us. Our menu was just simple. Our four dumpling came last after we consumed our one dish which we shared. We have no water pitcher on the table until we asked, but then we did not use it coz they did not provide a drinking glass. Do we have to drink water directly from the pitcher? So we payed and left. This place is great! The jja-jjang myun is so yummy and not greasy at all. Tastes similar to what you would get in Korea. The gamponggi and tansuyak are also lightly fried and addicting! The portions are large. The staff, a lady who served us was attentive and nice. Went with my daughter and we are not asian and didn't feel uncomfortable. A few things for English speakers to note if they plan to dine in: -The menu does not have any pictures. -There is NO cell service in the plaza of the restaurant. -The restaurant does not have public WiFi. -VERY strong communication barrier. 12/21/25 Review: I was VERY excited to try this place since I saw the sign go up in the window. Unfortunately I left hungry,upset and frustrated. My boyfriend and I walked in and waited 15 minutes before being seated. People that came after us were sat ahead of us, no big deal; we wait. After being seated I noticed both tables beside us had orders taken and were served apps before we were greeted by a server. When she finally arrived, I was surprised to see the menu didn't have any images. I tried to ask for the WiFi so I could use Google Translate or look up some dishes but the waitress said NO! I said ok and tried to ask what her favorite dish was and she looked at me confused again. She ran away and two servers rapidly in and out later I gave up trying to ask anything. My boyfriend tried ordering a shrimp dish we saw on the website home page. The server/maybe manager said it doesn't come with rice. We said Okay, we will pay for the rice not a problem. We thought we ordered the shrimp with a side of rice and a noodle dish for me. We wait. We get the shrimp 15 minutes later. That was it. The shrimp was spicy. I was only able to get through two pieces. I needed the rice we ordered to cut the spice. I was also hoping to eat with my boyfriend. No server ever came back to check on us. I spent 30 minutes attempting to wave down a server. I was sitting in a booth facing the entire room. The same one server kept doing a 180 when I got eye contact with her. I understand it was extremely busy but it felt intentional at this point. My boyfriend had enough so he stood up and went to ask for a manager. He is 6'4 and very husky. The waitress actually tried walking away and avoiding him!!! The manager comes by. I am on the verge of tears at this point and ask if the rest of the food is coming. She looked shocked and came back to tell me the order was never placed (despite ordering with her and the waitress) . I ask for the bill for the shrimp and wait....the icing on the cake is I take one bite of my 3rd and final shrimp the intestinal tract springs out!!! This place requires some training, customers service and perhaps at the very least a public WiFi so tools like Google Translate can be used. I wrote a private email to the restaurant and did not hear back so here is my public plea to never let anyone feel like that again when leaving your establishment. read more

You walk in to a Bright Clean looking room and it feels good. The menu is written in Korean and the language barrier may seem a bit overwhelming at first, but the service is good and your biggest problem will be trying to figure out what all the delicious looking things other people around you ordered. Spent Dinner thinking ooh, I want that! I had Bul Go Gi with glass noodles(I think) and it was so good. My wife had Bi Bim Bap it was delicious as well.
