I live in the high desert and our level of care is terrible, I have dealt with ankle and foot pain for last ten years. I have been to several doctors in my area who dismissed my symptoms and pain without ordering X-rays or an MRI, they just told me I was obese and needed to lose weight. I first saw Dr. J early 2025 thinking I had gout. Immediately on the spot he said I tore a tendon in my toe and the ligaments in my ankle were torn. He immediately ordered an MRI and an X-ray, which confirmed exactly what he told within three minutes of diagnosing me. He didn't tell me I was obese and that I needed to lose weight, he listened to my problems and showed empathy and compassion. I was around 400 lbs, at the time and could not get surgery until my weight came down. Dr. J connected me with the right people and helped me get the weight down, and he gave me PRP which helped with the pain in the meantime and kept me in a brace to prevent further injury. I was finally able to get surgery on April 8th, 2026 after getting down to 275. I have lost a significant amount of weight and Dr. J has personally gone out of his way to connect me with quality doctors and good plastic surgeons. Dr. J's techniques are the best, no metal screws or plates needed, two weeks on a knee scooter with week three in a walking boot for 3-4 weeks. I had my surgery April 8th and by May 11th I no longer needed the boot. Couldn't ask for a better doctor or a kinder person than Dr. J!

When the surgery center closest to me, Advanced Surgical Center of Beverly Hills (which is the absolute worst surgery center in Los Angeles - avoid at all cost!) screwed up big time with my insurance and caused my mental duress and a panic attack minutes before my surgery, Dr. Joseph stood up for me without hesitation and then cancelled all of his surgeries there for a month. He puts patients over everything! Thanks to his skill and care, my recovery has been smooth and successful. Carolina said if your dad is admitted then I can't send a bill to insurance company!!!Sounds like a scam to me. Why would you charge someone just for picking up a item which is already paid off.
