    Brown Sugar BBQ Bacon burger
    Tim K.

Some have referred to this as one of the best burgers in Spokane valley. Feel free to expand that out a few thousand miles. Ordered the Brown sugar, BBQ, bacon, medium well with a side of coleslaw. We've all eaten our fair share of burgers, and this was one of the best I've ever had. Check out how they load this "bad" burger up; brown sugar, bacon, onion, lettuce, pickles, pepperoncinis, barbecue sauce, and "Hangry" sauce. That's an excellent topper. One of the marks of a good burger is if you need a lot of napkins and something to catch the overflow. This hits it on both points. You get a good amount of coleslaw as an option v. fries. The coleslaw is very fresh and really good tasting. Shout out to Stephanie who helped me place my call in order. Editors note, I think this burger totals only about 4 calories! lol

This was our first time here (along with several others). The interior is small, but thankfully it was a really nice day. We sat outside. I always thought this was a place you ordered at the counter, like a fast food restaurant. That is not the case at all. They have servers (ours was one of the owners). The burgers were huge and full of flavor.

I've read so many good things about this place that we had to make our way out to the valley to try it. Upon arriving it is a very small building with a dimly lit entrance and virtually no light in the parking lot. A true hole in the wall kind of place. Walking inside we were warmly greeted and found a seat right away. There are about 5 booths and a couple of tables to round out the entire indoor seating. They clearly have picnic tables and an area outside to increase the space during the warmer three seasons. We started out with fried cheese curds which were very good. They have a bit of garlic to them, but not overpowering. They were a tad greasy, but otherwise worth to the order. Burgers were ordered and they were excellent. Cooked exactly as asked and they are very large. Seasoning was spot on and veggies were fresh. The fries that we asked for as our side are shoestring style and were also a bit on the greasy side. They were still very good though. Overall a very good experience that will bring us back whenever in the area. We were also told that they'll be opening a north side venue in the near future. We're excited for that.

Amazing food and service. My server, Trina, kept me laughing with her banter with customers.

I can't rate my review on service or food because although they said they were closing in 52 minutes , they wouldn't serve us.

Food is good yet the cook looks like he hasn't bathed or cleaned his clothes in months. Takes away from the experience.

What we ordered: * Whipped Honey Cornbread: Seared edges, whipped honey butter, and scallions. Honestly addictive. Sweet, buttery, slightly crisp on the outside and soft inside! I just can't stop eating them * Hush Puppies: Served hot and crunchy with Louisiana Come Back sauce. Simple but really well done, especially with this dipping sauce. * Poached Pear Salad: Sweet poached pears, with a nutty flavor from candied pecans and dried cherries. I don't like goat cheese so I just pretend it didn't exist Light but flavorful, with a nice balance of sweet and tangy to pair with 2 heavy dishes above. * Voodoo Pork Chop: My main dish, I was surprised with the huge portion (10oz chop), served with collard greens, creole sauce, and sweet potatoes. Pork was incredibly tender and juicy, a bit salty but this is one of the best ones I've had in a while. It honestly felt like two servings and is definitely shareable. The space is beautiful with eclectic interior design, warm lighting, and a staircase that gives the whole place a nice vibe for dinner.
