Absolute horrible customer service. I met with my service advisor because my car was not shifting properly and my air-conditioning was not working properly. I have a 2020 Kia Nero. The customer advisor did not have knowledge of the product, was unwilling to help me look up my extended service contract. I had to call my previous dealership in Modesto California to get information on the service contract, they looked it up for me and then I had to provide the information to the Current service provider in Davis California. They were slow, rude and did not fix the problem. I also had a tire sensor that was broken after a week and a half I finally got my car back, the tire sensor still wasn't fixed. read more

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Called multiple times during business hours with no answer and no machine picked up to leave a message. Then when I did get through to someone they would transfer me to a machine where I left 2 messages for the service department that weren't returned. I had my car towed here because it's still under warranty and the only Kia dealership within reasonable distance. Called ahead to let them know it was coming. A few hours after it was picked up I called to find out a status and was again transferred to leave a voicemail which again wasn't returned. 22 hours after they received it I was finally able to speak to a person who indicated it was finally being looked at. After an hour I received a call indicating they need to run a $145 diagnostic on the car. I say it's under warranty. They said they need authorization for the charge but if it's something that's covered I'd not have to pay it. I say ok. Well a couple hours later I get a call saying that it was a bad fuse, they replaced it and the car was ready. I come in, get my bill and it's $153... apparently it takes a $145 diagnostic exam to find a bad fuse on the item they knew was malfunctioning when the car came in. So $153 to change an $8 fuse. Really?!?! When I complained about the steep price for an $8 fuse the the service manager had the audacity to infer I should be grateful they didn't charge me extra labor on top of it. Seriously?!?! Never again. I'd recommend you pass on this place too. read more

Both the receptionist and service lady(older blonde) saw me sitting there throughout the 2 hours, I kept looking over at service lady's office and she had no one in there. When I asked the receptionist, she said I can just go ahead into the service lady's office since it looked like she wasn't busy, couldn't tell me that an hour before? Turned out to be a 2 minute, TWO MINUTE, conversation. Service lady seemed like she was not in the best mood to help me. So I wouldn't normally say anything bad but this business is crap! I recently bought a car here, BAD IDEA! First problem, no antenna, radio didn't work, I was told I broke it and I would need to replace it. Good thing I had a photo of the car before I bought it. So they took care of the antenna radio issue. Next, car seat wouldn't lay flat in the back, that was a 2 weeks issue they took to fix. Next I get a call 2 months after buying the car, saying it wasn't smogged and I would need to take it in and they would reimburse me. (This btw was in my contract as paid for and complete... lies), when I took in the car nobody gave me any info on how long it would take what was going on and when it was complete the guy just gave me the keys and I left, no info on if it passed or anything just here's your keys have a good day. Now here's the kicker, after al those things they didn't know were wrong with the car, I take a weekend trip and am Un able to open the rear passenger side at all, because it's normal for someone to open that door.... not in my case I use the driver door and that's it. So they accuse me of breaking the door, and remind me they sold it as is and that was "probably like that and that I signed a contract". I get a call from the maintenance guy and he says it looks like someone was in the door and there's pieces broken, hmmm if that's the case they most likely did it when they were attempting to figure out the radio issue. This place is money hungry and not care about the cars they sell and don't even know anything about the cars they sell. SECH is one of the sales managers and is a piece of work. I wouldn't recommend going here for a car to save your life. The maintenance team is great and are put in bad situations when the sales team does bad business. So do not get a car here. Take your business elsewhere! The service team is great and deserve your business just not the sales team. I couldn't even sell this car for the bluebook price because they sold me a broken vehicle at an incorrect price with broken antenna, back seat, rear door and honestly who knows what else. Just avoid this place. Lesson learned don't get a car without it being checked out first.... you'd think the dealer would do that before they sold it. Not here! read more

I honestly tried to be fair with this team, but sometimes that just doesn't work. This is my first Yelp Review and honestly I am appalled with my experience. My car was taken in back in May for an Engineer Repair. It wasn't the fact that my car took 3 months to get back (that was not their fault), it was the fact that within that 3 month period I had 3 points of contact, ALL of which ended up leaving the Dealership, and NONE of which told or notified me. I called the office MULTIPLE times for simple updates. Not once did I raise my voice, not once did I try to file a formal complaint. Each time either NO ONE answered or they said that someone would get back to me, but guess what? NO ONE EVER DID. I am still waiting on over $1,000 to be refunded to me because they cannot seem to mail my receipts to the car company. I really hope this team gets it together, but in the mean time I will NEVER come back to this dealer, ever again. read more

This review is in regards to Hanlees Kia service department. When I arrived to drop my vehicle off for my scheduled appointment I was told that since the basic portion of my warranty has expired there would be a $350 fee to "diagnose" the problem. YES, THAT'S THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS JUST TO TELL ME WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED! Absolutely ridiculous, considering that I brought the car in for one malfunctioning door lock and the airbag light. Needless to say I didn't leave it as I can only imagine what the actual repair cost would have been. Even if they credit the $350 toward the repairs (not that I stuck around long enough for that sales pitch) they should have informed me that this fee would apply when I made the appointment. I've had my car serviced there before, they can see that it's a 2012 and likely has exceeded the 60,000 mile "basic warranty" period. Extremely disappointing given that I've had a good experience there in the past, guess I'll be finding someone else moving forward. Also, an interesting aside, when I requested the service appointment online I received an email with a quote to purchase a new vehicle almost immediately, but it took them two days to respond to my appointment request. Guess they're more interested in selling new vehicles than servicing their existing customers. read more

I usually come here with my mother to get our cars checked up, but today when we went, no one was seen wearing a mask inside. Not the employees, few customers, no 6 ft distancing between them indoors, no doors open, no indoor ventilation. No precautions. A little later I did see one person who I think was the mechanic wearing a mask consistently. The person who had me sign for my service wasn't wearing a mask when taking my keys, and wore a bandana with the nose exposed when standing near me as I signed for my service. The receptionist talked to me with her mask under her chin. My mother and I were extremely nervous while inside the building since almost no one was following the guidelines for Covid safety. I was there for over an hour waiting for my car, which I don't mind usually, but this time I did mind because I felt they didn't care enough about safety. read more

Ever since this dealership changed ownership from Swift Kia & Chrysler to Hanlees Kia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Kia, the service has not been the same. And now it's so bad that there is no service. Just getting an oil change with an appt. (I arrived 15 mins before my appt.), took 2.5 hours and I only got my car back at that point because I started asking for someone to get me the paperwork so I could pay and get out of there. And even then, they hadn't washed the car yet, had parked it in the ready aisle and just left it there and then when I was upset, they offered to run the car through the wash. I was to get a complimentary detail wash, I passed and said a regular wash would be fine to save time, but they couldn't even do that in over 2.5 hours. I felt like there wasn't really any customer service and wonder if any of their employees are happy? They just didn't seem to care and that passed on to the customer. I hope I'm wrong. read more
