Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, even when they are busy. They have both breakfast and lunch menus to choose food options from depending on your preference and time of day. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Wrap with buffalo sauce and it was good. Nothing overly surprising or different from what I've made at home though. The chicken was cut into small pieces and fried with a simple batter, the hot sauce tasted like typical Franks, and some of the cheese wasn't fully melted inside. The tortilla was grilled on the outside, which gave it a nice toasted flavor. It was filling and had a nice amount of ingredients inside to be worth the $12. It also came with a side, which I chose french fries. They came out pretty fried, almost in there too long and a bit dark, the inside a bit dry. I came here for the first time yesterday afternoon, and I was really happy with my breakfast. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelette with hash browns. My boyfriend ordered the hungry man with caramel pecan pancakes and home fries on the side. We really enjoyed the home fries and the omelette. The pancakes were just okay, granted we ordered them without the whipped cream so I'm sure that took them down a notch. Overall I would totally come back again for breakfast! read more

A solid 4 based on our experience. We were visiting my in-laws and went here on my father in laws recommendation for Sunday brunch. Doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is a small diner like cafe, almost like one you'd see back in the 90s. We only waited about 5 min for a table and the waitress quickly brought out coffee and waters for the table. I got the mixed grill breakfast (scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, green peppers, onion, and other veggies all mixed together with tons of cheese), husband got the apple stuffed French toast, mother in law got the low carb sautéed veggies and eggs and father in law got a breakfast sandwich. Right away you can tell everything is cooked to order and the veggies are super fresh. Everything was delicious and served in a relatively quick manner. No one left hungry. I did knock a star off as my father in law commented his English muffin was a bit stale and there was a salt packet in his water when we got it, but we addressed those with staff at check out. The place is also small and there's little to no space to wait for a table. We had people waiting in the door way and outside as we were leaving. Just a few things to consider but overall we had a nice brunch before heading back home. read more

I got breakfast delivered a few weeks ago and I can't wait to order again! The free delivery was an awesome surprise. I got a mushroom, Swiss, spinach, and bacon omelette. It was so huge and filling! I got home fries on the side. They were red potatoes with some sautéed onion. I would've liked them to be a little crispier so I'll see if I can request that next time. This has been a neighborhood favorite for years. For some reason it's taken me forever to try it out. It's a very cute restaurant but SMALL and there's nowhere to wait. It was packed but I expected as much since it was a Sunday after church. Service was beyond friendly, I never waited for a drink refill and they checked in frequently. Atmosphere was very homey. I got the loaded home fries with jalapeños, bacon, and mushrooms. The portion was huge and so delicious. The cheese got a little hard but that's probably because I was going more talking than eating. This is a nice small diner located in the shopping center of crafton. You wouldn't expect it to be there, but we have driven past it a few times and wanted to give it a try. We both got an omelet with sausage and potatoes. It was a good sized portion for the price. Great prices. I thought the meal was alright, but the service was beyond slow and our waitress only checked in with us once throughout the entire 50 minutes we waited for our food. I could tell it was busy and they were probably short staffed, but we were ready to leave it took soooo long. Being a newer resident of Crafton and a breakfast fanatic, I'm always up to visiting little local diners! Sunday morning my boyfriend and I both woke up with some family visiting and decided to head to Hanlon's to get some brunch. We walked in with no idea what to expect and were greeted with a family-friendly, classic, small town diner feel. These places usually have the best breakfasts! I ordered the loaded home fries and chose sausage, peppers, and onions as my toppings. You can choose 3 toppings (cheese comes with them), and your home fries will come to you still steaming in a big skillet. This is an awesome deal for $5.99. My boyfriend got one of the breakfast meals from the menu, but he substituted the regular pancakes with the cookies and cream pancakes. The menu was hard to choose from because everything looked amazing, and some of the plates were really unique! The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, the food was great, and the prices were low. It's hard to think of any negatives about Hanlon's. I used Hanlons Catering in McKees Rocks to cater my son's baptism this past weekend. So happy we chose them over some of the other local caterers for a few reasons. First, their promptness and responsiveness, they quickly and professionally answered emails and calls when I had questions about menus, options and pricing. Secondly, they were extremely affordable and accommodating, Ed was awesome in allowing us to pick and choose different menu items and allowed us to adjust our package so that we could order everything we wanted at a reasonable price. The delivery was seamless and on time, and they helped set up the food and explained how to keep it warm etc. and most importantly, the quality of the food was excellent. Everyone raved about the Mac and cheese as well as the chicken tenders and the Italian sandwiches. We also had the chicken wraps which were a hit. This place is a true hidden gem! I work at a nearby bank and Hanlon's is an excellent choice for a wrap or salad whenever I forget to bring lunch. They offer the option to upgrade to premium mixed salad greens for a dollar, which is much appreciated. Their all day breakfast is the real star of the show however, and it never disappoints. The pricing is great given the generous portion sizes, and everything is always super tasty. The inside is traditional (booths, wood paneling, etc) and extremely clean with prompt and friendly service. I would be remiss if I didn't mention their amazing online ordering system also. It has been a long time since I dined here. It was formerly known as Andrea's restaurant. Came here for breakfast. Waitress is warm, friendly, and very attentive to my needs. I decided to go with the veggie omelet which comes with your choice of a wide variety of toasts and home fries. I went with the rye toast and believe me it did not disappoint. Got my food in record time and was amazed at the size of the veggies in this 3 egg omelet. It was so good! I loved the home fries and could only finish half of the bread. They also have smaller portions if you wish as well as pancakes. For $1.00 upcharge you can have your eggs made with egg substitute. They even have a low carb breakfast if you are watching carbs. This place is reasonably priced and you can get a descent meal for under $10.00. That's the way I like it. Good food at affordable prices. Located on the far end of the Crafton Ingram shopping center it makes a good choice for either breakfast or lunch. They have their daily lunch specials written on a chalkboard outside.
