Every time I visit I try to get something new off their menu or any specials they have, and I can confidently say I could order anything off that menu and it will simultaneously be exactly what I wanted and so much better than I could have imagined it being. Located in a neighborhood, this pizza place is great! I was very impressed with the different choices of pizza. This is not your ordinary pepperoni establishment. We ordered the Pork Belly Kimchi. I was a little hesitant as I have not yet developed a passion for Kimchi. But the amount of Kimchi on each slice was minimal. We also had a salad which was delicious and the Pho Pizza. This is the best pizza I have ever had. When people talk about crust and leopard spots and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside - this is IT! The flavors are one of a kind and the entire pizza is amazing. I don't know how they do it but they do. This is a must have in Beaverton. Delicious! We arrived 2:30pm on a Saturday. There are maybe 8(?) parking spots behind the restaurant. Street parking seemed full. You order at the front and they bring your food to you. They have tables inside and in the tent in the back. Vegetarian options include the Khao Soi Pizza and korean kimchi burrata salad. Both were very delicious. Who knew kimchi and burrata would be such a good combination! I soaked up the kimchi cheese mixture with the pizza crust I can see why this place was featured in the nytimes! read more

Got take out from here and really I do think this pizza is great but it has also taught me that I'm a purist when it comes to pizza. We got the pho, lamb curry, and red curry and while they were all excellent I'd really like to see what they can do with just normal pizza. I think I'll get a meat lovers the next time. They did a great job though, the toppings a great, they're of course interesting pizzas to try, and the wait time wasn't bad. But yea, I'm a purist. We got takeout because I know the lines can be really long to eat in, especially on a weekend but it does look like a super cute little place. We got the Pho and Banh Mi pizzas and they were SOOOOO GOOD. This place has by far the best pizza I've ever had!!! And the owners/workers are SO nice. We chose to sit in the back covered patio with the electrical heaters and they helped make everything so comfortable. I definitely recommend the Pho pizza. Except... PIZZA?! Hapa pizza does an incredible job at putting these flavors in a fresh sizzling pie. The crust has a fantastic chew and nice soft, crispy bubblyness . The Thai tea regular and strawberry were also phenomenal. The food came out quick, is priced well, and we enjoyed our entire evening. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant has A/C. We had the pho pizza. The crust was soft, chewy, crispy, and very tasty. It tasted fresh and well balanced and super crazy because it actually tasted like pho but it's pizza! This Asian-fusion pizza spot can get pretty crowded on peak days because of the national recognition it has received for some of the best pizza in the country. It's pretty good and the service was great both times I visited, but I felt the pizzas were fun and tasty but reminded me of an Asian version of California Pizza Kitchen because the pizzas are kind of out there and doesn't always deliver in flavor (especially the ones that get drizzled with special sauces). The tom yum Caesar salad was fresh and large, but it didn't remind me of tom yum flavors. The signature pho pizza was also good and it was fun to get pizza with thin slices of brisket, but it also didn't make me feel I was eating pho. The banh mi pizza, however, definitely captured the taste and vibe of a banh mi sandwich because of the pickled vegetables that are toppings on the pizza along with jalapeno slices. When you get about thirty feet from the front door, the smell of pizza and Asian food hits you and I did not know this combination was missing from my life. The service is kind, helpful and very attentive. For our meal, we had the Tom Yum Caesar salad, a pho pizza, and the Thai beef pizza. The salad was fantastic. Everything about it looked like a caesar salad, but the dressing had an Asian twist that was delicious. The Pho pizza was amazing. It literally tasted like pho! Absolutely wild The Thai Beef pizza had a really nice kick to it and turned out to our favorite of the evening. Finally trying out Hapa Pizza which was long overdue on my things to try list- and I'm so glad I finally had it! The employees are all very kind, and one employee came over to thank my friend for letting them know the bathroom was low on soap :) The selections of pizzas are half speciality Hapa Pizza flavors and half normal pizzas for those who aren't ready to delve into something different. The Kale and Sausage pizza was my favorite and the mala honey flavor went perfectly with the sausage. The Diavoli is a really great red sauce pizza that also has that hot honey tang to it. They offer some delicious versions of Asian (focus on Vietnamese) specialties atop of soft, stretchy and slightly chewy pizza dough. Very good, we all enjoyed the Banh Mi more than the Pho. However, if I'm craving pizza, Happa probably won't come to mind. They take the you can put anything on pizza concept to an appealing level. The sauces on top were also delicious and the portions of meat on it was delicious. Lives up to the hype! We got the Tom Yum Pizza (special of the month), the strawberry Thai Iced Teas, and the Ube Tiramisu. All three were stand outs in terms of flavor. Crust is also a perfect texture. Nice amount for lunch for two people if you're not SUPER hungry. I enjoy the novelty of it, but I wouldn't have a craving to go back. Fusion pizza can work: Indian curry pizzas are genius! The banh mi and pho pizzas here did indeed taste like Banh mi and pho. But while Indian pizza makes me think "wow, pizza crust can work better than naan!", I couldn't help but want baguette and soup for these fusion items. Having these in pizza form just didn't elevate these dishes beyond sandwich and soup. Maybe they're simply already in their best and most evolved forms! Also: the pizzas are served on a metal rack. Whatever coating is on that rack is suspiciously coming off. Maybe not the safest for health? Overall, it's still a fun novelty and definitely worth a try! read more

My husband and I came here for the first time last week and had a great dinner! It was a little over a 30 minute wait on a Friday night, but we passed the time walking around the area and got our food in a good amount of time. Sitting outside was lovely in the nice weather, and right at sunset too. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The pizzas were great! The crusts on both were fantastic - crispy, chewy, and flavorful. The flavors of the pizzas were so unique, and we really enjoyed them! Great pizzas worthy of the NYT review. One of the few times specialty pizzas actually taste like their namesakes. Tried the pho, banh mi and meat lovers pizzas with family. Each pizza is more than enough for an adult especially if you order a salad and dessert like we did. I liked them all but have to admit the more traditional meat lovers is my favorite. Updating my review... we have been eating Hapa for years and have had dozens of pizzas. Every time a "best of" pizza list came out, we always said it's just because they don't know about Hapa. Well, this week the world found out about Hapa, and it shows. The lines are epically long, and they sell out fast. But I've had my eye on the Green Curry pizza for a while. And finally we got to try it today. It was nothing short of amazing. I'm dairy free and they offer vegan options. It's nice we can have vegan cheese pizza nights with our kids. The sauce is perfect and the crust is yummy. It's our favorite pizza by far! For portions you can share a pizza between two or if you are extra hungry you can probably eat an entire pizza solo. The price is good for the quality you get. The staff is always so kind. By now, you probably have heard about Hapa pizza from everyone and everywhere. My friends/coworkers talked about it and the local radio stations did features on it. It took very little persuasion for me to try Hapa Pizza because why wouldn't I want to eat delicious food while supporting a local Asian business that's not serving typical Asian food? We met up at Hapa Pizza with a friend and were glad we came after the usual lunch rush. We were able to get a table and situate ourselves comfortably, as the pizza place is small with limited seating. We ordered two pizzas and one salad to share. We got the Bánh Mì Pizza, Margherita Pizza (v), and a Tom Yum Caesar Salad. Each pizza was 12" and enough for three of us to share. I liked everything we ordered, but my favorite was the Margherita pizza. It was everything I wanted it to be: crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with flavorful tomato sauce and creamy mozzarella cheese on top. Overall, I did like Hapa Pizza a lot. Walking in the front door we knew this was going to exceptional with how friendly we were greeted. It was our first time actually scoring a Hapa pizza, we have always just missed the farmers market "sold out". We decided on a seasonal special at the recommendation of the host. Fresh dough, curry and Thai flavor were an unexpectedly delightful combination, well balance flavors, exquisite crust perfectly baked in their beautiful pizza oven. As we waited in the small clean dinning area a steady stream of take out pies flew out the door. The small graceful crew all did worked harmoniously in the open kitchen, it was a joy to watch this team calmly fulfill order after order. This is truly a fusion made in heaven, even if the Neapolitans would be up in arms at some of the crazy sounding combinations. Be careful when getting your pizza from the counter as they put the pizza rack on the plate so the rack is super slippery on the plate. Ordered the Banh Mi pizza. Seemed like quality ingredients and was quite tasty. The sauce on the banh mi makes it difficult to save for leftovers. Next times would probably work my through the other unique pizzas but they also have a pep (and cheese i think) for when not feeling something so rich and likely get it to go somewhere close.
