What a great fusion pizza joint! Fresh ingredients and great flavor combos make the pizzas crave-able. They're pretty accommodating to customizations like chilis on the side. Staff is super friendly and took care of us. This is the go to spot after shopping at the Nike employee store. If you like pizza and Asian flavors, this is a match made in heaven.

Their Asian fusion x Neapolitan style gets big points for uniqueness and they do it so well. The Asian flavors are to die for and the pizzas are cooked perfectly. I ordered to go but they have a small space for sit down if you want to eat in. Kind staff but the place is small and they do get busy so keep in mind during traditionally busy meal times.

Sold out - about an hour before close

Had Hapa Pizza on our list of restaurants to try out while we were in town for vacation. Before heading out, I called them twice to feel out the situation. The calls went straight to voicemail stating they were most likely busy with other customers. Drove out to the restaurant and when we arrived about an hour before close, we were greeted with a sign that said they had Sold Out. The employees were in the restaurant already starting to clean up for the end of the day. I can't really say anything about the food, since we didn't try it, but this was a pretty bad customer experience due to the communication gap. Maybe they can have an alternate voicemail when they're out of pizza?

My daughter loves this place, so she wanted to bring us here for pizza. Hubs and I are from the Chicago area, so we have definitive ideas about pizza. We took a deep breath in and agreed to branch out. This pizza was delicious! Fresh! Definitely wood fired and thin, but not soggy. We ordered a pepperoni and added mushrooms, which were wild mushrooms. And yum! Pepperoni was crisped on the edges. The pho pizza had a nice Chinese five spice flavor with a sweet glaze as well. Lived the crunchy bean sprouts, and although I am not a cilantro fan, it was well used and not overwhelming. Overall, a really good pizza. And unique. I loved the simple concept of this restaurant and the honest execution of the food and service. I would happily return.

Hapa's pho pizza is one of the greatest things i've ever eaten. The next time you want to order a regular old bowl of pho, you may think twice because the pizza is so on point. The tom yum Caesar is also a real triumph as well as just about everything else on their menu. Stop reading this and go get happy at Hapa today.

We haven't been here in a bit and we were pleasantly surprised to see they expanded both the menu and seating areas! Lots of seating and options to include a wide variety of drinks and salads too!

Great pizza with unique flavors. I was pleasantly surprised to see a pizza with beef larb on it. I've never seen that before and it was SO GOOD! A great balance with the herbs and bits of charred crust. It's such a perfect fusion, done so well that I can't wait to take my parents and grandma here. My friend and I ordered two pizzas to share since we wanted to try out the flavors, ate nearly every bit. I also got to try their yuzu ranch which I was so curious about. I ended up pouring it over my pizza and finished the whole cup!! The first time I tried Hapa pizza, they were at a farmers market. To see them in a shop and to hear that they are working on expanding the shop is awesome. They truly deserve all the success!

Came here on a Sunday for lunch and I was so impressed with how good the food was. The crust was perfectly cooked for all three pizzas. The work staff were very friendly and one asked which pizzas we liked the most and it was nice having a conversation with them. The place was very clean and open which is a lot different than what I'm used to at really good pizza spots. Also liked how they had a little section for customer parking. Will be back for sure!

Gosh, why does Portland have so many great pizza places?!? The daughter just introduced us to this Asian inspired pizza place and we were blown away. The flavors come from much loved Asian foods in pizza form with dough that is so chewy and crisp that you know it wasn't an afterthought. We ordered their Korean inspired burrata salad, a huge piece of fresh mozz over Korean style cucumbers and topped with tomato and crispy bits. Super creamy and delicious. We then had their bahn mi, pho and beef larb pizzas. The flavors were spot on with the herbs and fillings you would find in the actual dishes. So super delicious and authentic. Hubby used to have a favorite pizza from another Portland standard, but these guys just won top spot for him. We were able to chat with the owner who was especially kind and friendly. She asked about our favorites and explained how they started out as a pop up. We're so glad they have expanded their seating area as I'm sure they get super busy. Very cute place!

Above and beyond friendly staff. You'll never find any other restaurant staff as friendly as Hapa Pizza's. I love their variety of Asian fusion pizza flavors. We ordered the Margherita Pizza w/ additional meat toppings and it was incredibly flavorful, one of the best Pizza in the country I've tried. Prices are super affordable which I like as a college student. I highly recommend trying this place for all Pizza lovers! I wanna add that their Pho Pizza, absolutely unique and amazing, they captured the essence of Pho exactly. Really delicious and stunning. I recommend trying it if you want an unique experience. *Lovely atmosphere for hangouts/dates.

I've been wanting to try this place for a bit, because the reviews and images look so great. I had really high expectations for this pizza and the overall experience. We ordered our food for delivery so maybe that's the problem. Perhaps we should have dined in. While the pizza was very flavorful, truly, the flavor was on point for the pho, margarita and diavola pizzas, I found the dough to be soggy. The crust was excellent in taste and texture but I found the bottom of the pizza or the part that contained all the toppings to be soggy. I won't order again for delivery, unfortunately. However, I would consider dining in to give the full experience a try.

I had high hopes because my hubby had built them up so much ,but alas it was not the experience for me. Stopped in for dinner and were promptly attended . The vibe is relaxed and friendly and has a style of ordering that unfortunately I am not a fan of which is you order at the counter and then grab a seat . We came in looking for those Thai flavors that my husband had talked about so much , but alas the menu had changed and they no longer were making those , so we got the Korean flavored toppings instead . For me Unfortunately the creativity was what brought me here and I didn't get to experience it , it could be the pizza I chose or it could be an off day but I found the toppings really average .The crust had a nice chew and crisp bottom , the kind of texture you appreciate when you really taste the dough. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They seemed into the food themselves and it shows. Parking can be a hit or miss depending on the day you go , there are some spots behind the building and some street parking. Overall , I found them average and wont be rushing back soon.

Apple Miso Pizza- Portland Pizza Week 2026
    Sierra D.

One of my favorite pizza spots in the Portland area, and there's a TON of them! This time I got the Portland pizza week pizza because it sounded too interesting not to try- Apple butter, apple compote, mint, shiso, miso vinaigrette, whipped lemon ricotta, finished with house taro chips for crunch. It was incredibly delicious, the perfect balance of sweet, umami, creamy, and crunchy. There aren't many places that could pull off a pizza with such an amazing balance of bold and subtle flavors. This pizza is a perfect reflection of just how good Hapa Pizza is. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Brett and his team make phenomenal pizza, salads and sides and the pizza truck adds so much to the occasion. All our guests raved about the quality of the food and the service was on-point. Today, on our anniversary, we had the puttanesca pizza and it was absolutely fantastic. We also tried the seasonal peach and blackberry tiramisu, which was nothing short of divine. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking quality wood-fired pizza loaded with flavor. Whether catered with an unforgettable set-up or grabbing a bite in the restaurant, it's the real deal, and it surely wont dissapoint.

tl;dr? "Best pizza I've had on the west coast; pizzaiolo needs some social skills work"…read more It's Friday night date night! Wife N and I watch cooking competitions (mostly for at-home recipe ideas because we love to cook!) and happened upon a few episodes of pizza-making and decided we both really had a hankering for "real pizza" for Date Night this week. Both Yelp-surfing, and on the recommendation of a friend, we decided to trek the 45 minutes out from Forest Grove (past no fewer than 30 pizza joints) to Maiale Rosa smack-dab in the middle of downtown Beaverton. Arrived around 6:00, ordered at the counter, and found a table. There were a few other patrons (plus those who came to pick up orders) but there were a couple available tables and an entire strip of bar seating, directly in front of the glass where you can watch the action. I'm a mushroom lover so the "I Funghi" immediately caught my eye and I ran with it, adding the offered prosciutto. She ordered a build-your-own with marinara, prosciutto, fontina and mozzarella cheeses and arugula. The pizzas arrived after a (pretty short) wait, probably under 10 minutes, felt quite fast. First bite: holy cowabungas! This was a forest floor mushroom extravaganza, with enough garlic and truffle oil that I caught myself uttering "whoa!". Prosciutto added after the bake (thank you! I hate chewy crispy fired prosciutto!) so it provided this lovely fattiness to each bite. Fabulous in every way. Found no flaws in Wife N's pizza and neither could she. Again, arugula added after the bake (because hot wilted arugula sucks) keeping it vibrant and fresh to the table. Crust: fabulous. Crispy and perfectly chewy all at the same time. Very hard to find one this well-made. Pizza size: these are all hand-made so obviously not quite perfectly round but it would be safe to say each was somewhere in an oblong 10" to 12" range. I would advise one pizza per heavy eater, unless you're two light eaters then one could suffice. We took half of each pizza home and those leftovers fed me the next day. Pizza: 5*'s. If you're just picking it up to eat at the food court nearby, or focused ONLY on the quality and taste, then this is the best pizza you'll find around. Pizzaiolo: 3*s. It's pretty obvious the chef-owner is an expert at pizzamaking, recipes, flavors. His product is masterful. What he has, however, is an obvious and penetratingly-palpable disdain for any kind of customer interactions or small talk. He's behind clear glass, at a seating bar. This invitingly conveys to his patrons: "Say 'hi' and chat with the chef." It's pretty clear that isn't his intent. Drywall separating us would have been a better pick. This is a man best left alone to make pizzas and scoff at his employees without customers having to experience this negativity. Pizza with a scowl. As we got up to leave I gave it one more shot, and honestly complimented him on his pizza---it's objectively the best I've had outside New York and I've never even been to Naples but if this represents their pizza, I'd probably like eating there too. His reply, which arrived mostly as he turned and walked away, was "great, put it in your Google review." Some diners are just there for the pizza. Others are just there to pick up a to-go. But there are some of us that plan, with anticipation, our experience eating at a new-to-us place. For us, it's more than about the food: it's about the entire experience of having eaten there. It's about chatting with the chef. It's about pursuing fine food. And it's about sharing at least a cursory relationship centered around your mutual love for their food creation. We'll very likely have their pizzas again (and it will be very tough for me to force myself to try something other than another I Funghi!). But next time, we'll probably just eat and go, because the clear message we received is "this isn't a happy place to hang out." And it's a shame, because those two pizzas were the better part of $60. For that, you'd think it could come with at least an attempt at a smile and friendliness from the guy that owns the place.

Because the food was so damn good. Look - I'm going to start off by saying I grew up practically on The Hill. Out here, you'll have to Google it (make sure to add 'RI' to the search or you'll get some political BS), but back east, "alls you's have ta say" was those two words and anyone would know you knew your Italian, food and otherwise. There isn't anything on this coast that vaguely compares to The Hill's food, but walking into and biting out of Geraldi's was having a little piece of home. There's this little shop in the old town where the owner knew your voice when you called to order... you'd walk in, and you heard "hey cousin!" whether you were or not, and that's the vibe you get from Geraldi's. The food is much the same - you get something that looks like Nonna was at the range all day with her sauce (it's not gravy - no meat) and you came home looking like you haven't eaten in weeks: "I'm gonna fatten you up before you leave" and you walked out the door with a sub (sandwich, that is - not a submarine) that weighed the same as a newborn. We got three of those babies: a Chicago Beef (seal of approval from the orderer - only 'complaint' was that they had to eat it all in one day because the bread was quote too soggy to make it to lunch the next day - travesty), an Italian sausage (just as delicious when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and a Chicken Parmeroni (I thought somehow even better when 1/2 was reheated the next day) and I could have absolutely gone back the next day if it weren't for A. the leftovers 2/3 of us had and B. the meal planning we'd done for the week. I also grabbed a side of giardiniera because I will get it anytime I see it available and I inhaled it - I need to know if I can by it by the vat instead of the side cups because it too was similar to what I can find at home (about practically nowhere out here) and amazing!! I'm still upset I didn't take pictures though!

And my partner said, "no, please come outside, it's a beautiful day." FINE. I grumpily opened the car door while he got kiddo outta the car. I wanted to stay grumpy, but it smelled delicious right when I got out of the car. Okay, okay. This was a good sign. Partner went to order pizza then we went into the gas station and walked around and didn't find anything we wanted and/or didn't want to pay over $4 for a small bag of chips. Good lord. Also, the attendant said he couldn't check our 76 gas gift certificate unless we bought something (which I think is stupid and a lie). That's beside the point and I'll save my 1-star review for the gas station. Anyhow - it was a beautiful day to wait for good smelling pizza. We hung out in the trunk of our car, then chatted with Ryan (the owner) who is so kind and you can tell he's a good human!!! Our two pizzas were then ready and we raced home to try it while it was still piping hot and fresh! Boy oh boy, did our family enjoy the pizzas! Our son was ecstatic about the Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza, and my partner and I loved the pizzas!!!! I wasn't even that hungry but Leo and I almost ate the entire Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza. It was SO tasty! Ryan uses all super fresh ingredients for his pizza creations and you can really tell. A lot of times, when ordering pizzas of this style, the crust is too oven burnt and the pizza tastes okay or not that great, but he's a pizza genius and pours pride and care into his pizzas. You can really taste the care and quality!!! Our family can't wait to come back and get more pizzas! We are so glad he's so close to our house! What a win! Thanks, Ryan!

Let me start by saying that Randall, the owner, is genuinely a good guy. He went out of his way to…read moremake my daughter and I pizza even though they were busy with a private event. We had made the 25 minute drive from West Linn because we heard the pizza was that good and when I say it did not disappoint, that's an understatement. The crust was flavorful, had the perfect texture, wasn't too "doughy" and the char from the wood fired oven gave it a nice smokiness. The other ingredients were solid as well...the cheese was smooth, the sauce was perfectly balanced and the small pepperonis had just a little more spice to them (we got (1) pepperoni and (1) pepperoni and ham). I hate to be "that guy" but we used to live in Brooklyn, NY (we loved Totonno's and Grimaldi's) and Massachusetts (we loved Regina), and we've struggled to get GREAT pizza in the 6 years we've been out here...now we have a go-to for slammin pies. I feel bad that this post doesn't include photos, but one of the pizzas didn't make it home and the other was attacked before I could get a good pic. Their ranch: Before we left, Randall asked if we wanted peppers, parmesan or ranch, and I declined. He suggested I not pass on their house ranch that they make themselves and I obliged. I'm glad I did. My wife, who is super picky at times, was shocked at how good the ranch was. She said "damn...that's surprisingly good, and I don't even like dill in my ranch, but that's excellent." Basically half of the pepperoni pizza was bathed in ranch and we wished we would have gotten a couple more. Pro Tip: Each pizza feeds 1.5-2 people but if you're hungry, you could probably house a whole pie without regret.
