My husband and I are foodies. This little cafe is the best Vietnamese food around! Better than Pho Far East in Raleigh. The best Banh Mi we've had in years! The Pho broth was incredible! The pork vermacelli bowl was delicious. The Vietnamese coffee is strong and highly recommended. We drove over an hour to try this place and I would come here over anywhere we've been in Raleigh or Cary. The owner is also very nice. Highly recommended!!!! read more

A little restaurant tucked away in the corner of a strip of shops but it's a good thing as there is drive through service available. I get a meal here at least once a week. Food always freshly made, no wilted veggies or dried out noodles. Every meal has extra condiments provided from oyster sauce to extra hot red peppers. Fresh Thai basil and jalapenos too! Pho here was the best thing I've had in North Carolina for the last 4 days I've visited. Pretty close to some pho spots in Little Saigon in SOCAL. Prices seem to compare to other asian spots in this area. However, I like the taste here the best so far. This restaurant/boba shop is very cozy but the plaza has an okay amount of parking as well. The owners and staff seem friendly. I'll probably be back here to have the Pho again before heading back home. Also it's probably one of the few vietnamese places I've seen that have a drive thru. They now offer pho (I've tried their beef noodle soup) and noodle salad (I tried the noodle salad with pork and a spring roll). Both were very yummy. I've gone back for additional orders of both items. Service is always pleasant. They're eager to customize requests. And the establishment is clean and well kept. I went through the drive through on 5/14 and got a brown sugar milk tea, add cheese foam. I was a few minutes down the road and already back onto the highway when I realized that my drink had no boba in it. I called and all that I was told was 'i'll let management know' They offered for me to come back so they could add boba to my drink. However, at this point it's 6:15pm on a weekday and my priority lies in getting home to my children not backtracking for a drink. They offered no kind of compensation and I was extremely disappointed. The drink is delicious and I won't deny that, but to not add a main component to a drink and then not offer any kind of compensation for the error was disheartening. read more

Why have we not tried this place sooner! Delicious Vietnamese cafe featuring bánh mì (Vietnamese's baguette specialties), and milk teas. My sandwich was the #1 Bánh Mì (special traditional baguette): ham, pork bologna, pate (I skipped it on mine), butter, house special sauce, cucumber, cilantro, pickled daikon radish, pickled carrots, jalapeños. SO GOOD! I got the milk lichee tea with tapioca balls, it was so wonderfully cold and sweet. I also got the spring rolls (summer roll), shrimp, noodles, herbs with peanut sauce and spicy sauce. Service was friendly, and fast. The space feels like a little cafe. Absolutely recommend. read more

Looks like a cool place and a lot of yummy food and drinks options.. Stopped in for a boba. As I was deciding on what to get I did ask one of the young ladies what is in the summer tea and signature tea. I also asked if the raspberry and strawberry tea can just be strawberry, she stated no the tea bag comes premade with strawberry and raspberry. I step aside as I was still deciding. Another young lady was now at the counter, I started to order a drink for one person in my party and asked if there were any single tea flavors other than watermelon, like lemon, lime... Don't let my now married name fool you - I am proven by 23+Me to be 100% Vietnamese. I'm always on the lookout for my cuisine, wherever I travel. I've had LOTS of Vietnamese food! I stopped by during my lunch break. You guys, this place was HOPPING the entire time. I ordered my food, and it came out so fast. They handed me a giant fresh sandwich and my tea. Took about 5 minutes. Brought it back to my desk at work. I am literally crying as I type. This is the BEST banh mi sandwich I've had in years. The bread is crispy, but malleable. The sandwich is filled up with delicious pork and fresh, crunchy vegetables. I'm pairing this with my lychee tea, which I haven't even tried yet because this sandwich is just so good. The Vermicelli bowl was exactly what I've been craving. The pork marinade was delicious. I'm betting their Pho' is just as good. This place is now my regular spot for Vietnamese food. I've been craving the good food I became accustomed to in California and this was nigh onto perfect. I brought mine home but they have about 4 tables and a counter if you want to eat there. I hope lots and lots of people discover how delicious it is and they eventually expand to a larger space. Their boba is absolutely delicious, workers were super nice. The service wasn't fast but wasn't slow either, they took their time making sure the drinks were made right. The setting of the place may not be aesthetic but I think that's what makes it feel authentic. Definitely a place to try out if you're in town. read more

I've been to way better boba places, this place had food on the ground and the tables were full of crumbs. I don't have one good thing to say about this place except they didn't charge extra for the oat milk. But they did charge extra for LESS ice, yeah you heard that right, less ice. 20 dollars for 2 small drinks of regular boba tea. I went here to order the Spring Rolls via drive-thru at 5:02pm. Usually the wait time for this item is at least 7 minutes. I was too busy scrolling on my phone to realize I was there almost 45 minutes! I looked through the window and I see the Cashier (Name Snow on receipt) was cleaning and stacking chairs since closing time was at 6pm. Another employee came to lock to window. I knocked on the window to let them know I was still there. She was shocked that I hadn't received my order. I should've asked for refund but she was very apologetic and told me that I will get my order quickly as possible which was about 3 to 4 minutes. I don't know if I'll come back to be honest. I had ordered ahead of time. I went through the drive thru. The Spring Rolls and Beef Pho were ready and so after the kind server passed the food to me, I ate my food almost immediately. The Spring rolls and the Beef Pho were the best I ever tasted. The Broth was superb! Love it! Went for takeaway lunch...I won't be eating dinner tonight. I spent 20 years in Fort Worth before I retired to New Bern, and this is as good as any I've had down there. Arlington and other locales around Fort Worth are heavily Vietnamese. I have to say, the simple spring rolls are better than what I used to get in Texas, and there are even more varieties of banh mi available. Boba and bubble teas aren't really my thing, so please check out another review if those are what interest you. But the one banh mi I tried was outrageous...I can't wait to try the others. Upon walking in there were four people. Two behind the register, one walking to the front from the back, and one sitting there eating. I stood there and still had not been greeted at this point. I stood there for another probably good three minutes. Still nothing. So I finally said something and I finally ordered. I got my food and the kid that took my order did say have a nice day. (It seemed like he was shy but come on, greeting people as they are walking in is like the bare minimum) The food was great as well as my boba. It was obviously clear which ones were the owners from the start. If you're going to open a restaurant a good thing to start with is good customer service. And maybe teach your employees that as well. read more

New place in New Bern. We got Bahn Mi sandwichs a number 1 and 2. They were both very very good. Correct bread, pickled carrots and cucumber. Pate and sliced meat were perfect. So happy I can get a Bahn Mi in New Bern. There's a bunch of sandwiches and a ton of different teas. For a Sunday afternoon the place was pretty busy. We loved it. The food and drinks are amazing, my family loves eating here and enjoying a unique experience that isn't common around New Bern. I will warn, do not go during mornings- service is usually amazing and the people are very kind except for this very rude girl with a bunch of tattoos, never smiles, constantly complaining etc just simply a unpleasant person. Hopefully they sort her out because i simply love this place!! As for the decor I think it's very easy on the eyes and the menu shows a variety of options with imagery. I purchased a chicken sandwich and brown sugar boba totaling $17 and that's with a 20% discount they were offering... absolutely not. staff was extremely rude and unhelpful with questions. do not recommend and will not return.
