    Huge and excellent Meatlovers Omelet.
    Steven B.

I love it when Yelp helps me find the little, lesser known places and this family owned joint really rang all my bells for breakfast! They call themselves a diner, but they are a huge multi-room place right on Route 27 South. This place could seat an army! Atmosphere- The décor is really not diner but old Florida kitsch, but folks are coming here for the great food. Expect bustling servers flying in every direction. This is a breakfast and lunch only place closing in mid-afternoon. I was there on a Sunday morning which leads me to a pro tip- Pro Tip- All hell breaks loose on a Sunday when the after-church crowd piles in around 10:30! Service- I sat at the bar and my server was no nonsense and humorous. She was just fine and kept my coffee topped off but when the church crowd hit she was out of control! Food- Huge American breakfast menu will all the usual suspects. I went with a Meatlovers Omelet with Hash Browns and Toast for $8.95. I would say it was out in about five minutes. BTW- My coffee was excellent. My omelet was massive and packed with breakfast meats and lots of cheese. My hash browns were piping hot and not greasy. One of the many spreads available for your toast was homemade Strawberry Butter. OMG was it unique and delicious! This was a homemade American breakfast at its best. I can't wait to return and try lunch!

It was a Sunday and this place was hopping! We were greeted and sat immediately. When you walk in, you see a little gift shop and a bakery display. The decor is wooden, cute, whimsical, and slightly boho. Our server was super sweet and soft spoken - she took our order and our food was ready fairly quickly. The food is delicious!! We started with their soup of the day - a spiced carrot ginger. Yummy - it felt like a warm hug! We got a veggie burger and the turkey pesto. Both were super tasty and made with love. The BEST part... they make their own breads and they offer a GLUTEN FREE rice loaf!!! It is so yummy that we bought a frozen loaf to take home. Thankfully we had a cooler with us and were able to do so. We loved our lunch so much that we decided to stop again on our way home four days later! The middle of the week in Arcadia is a lot more quiet, and our second visit was just as delicious as the first. This time, we had the veggie soup and the same two sandwiches (because they were that good!). We had the veggie burger on GF bread this time so we could share half of each sandwich. They have an interesting story of origin (see their story on the menu paper), and the folks are super sweet and warm people. We are already sad we live two hours away, but look forward to returning for more delicious food!

-7 years of patronage! -…read more I was 1st to review these fine folks in 2018 and have since had breakfast here many times. This visit was my 1st time for lunch! Important note- This is NOT the franchise chain with a similar name! This is a different family-run, single location restaurant. Pro Tip- Breakfast & Lunch only. Just check Yelp for dinner options in the area. Arriving- They are on the Northbound side of US Route 27, hidden in the Sebring Square Plaza. They're nestled among a string of plazas and signage is not great. Use your GPS. Hint- Look for the Winn-Dixie or Advanced Auto Parts signage and you're there! As they are in a plaza, parking is almost always a snap. Ambience- Don't get excited. It's standard Florida Kitch. You don't go to an inexpensive restaurant to admire the décor. You expect neat and clean, and you will absolutely get that here. Pro Tip- Wi-Fi can be spotty due to the business location. They do have Wi-Fi, but it's restricted to management only. Not the servers, not the customers, just management! Say goodbye to one half star! Customer Service- 10 Stars! I was seated with a menu and had my drink within a minute. I placed my order within a minute of when I was ready and my food was out in less than 10 minutes. Just perfection! My wonderful server was Bobbi-Lynn. I know this because a card on the table told me so. When she delivered my check, she flipped the card over and there was a message. See my picture. So unique and appreciated! Pro Tip- As with many great places in this area, the Sunday church rush is something you do not want to experience! Here it begins around noon so beware of Sundays! Food- Standard American comfort food at its best. As they are in the city of Sebring, you might see a dish called Sebring this or Sebring that, but that's just a marketing ploy. It's still just good ole comfort food. On this visit my trusted Yelp Friend, Art J., recommended the Patty Melt & Crinkle Cut Fries so I went with that. Great job Art! My Melt was piping hot and cooked just as I requested. The caramelized onions were perfect. The fries were hot and crispy. Just a wonderful lunch for about $13 and change. Conclusion- Over 8 years, these fine folks have almost 700 reviews that average 4.5 stars from Yelp and that other site that some folks use and that's impressive. When I first reviewed them, this wasn't true, but they have matured, and I now agree! If they ever change their misguided Wi-Fi decision, I'd go 5 stars!

The service stands out with friendly, attentive staff who handle orders quickly and provide generous refills, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from start to finish. The atmosphere captures that cozy small-town Florida charm, complete with plenty of TVs for catching games, striking a great balance for families or sports enthusiasts without feeling overwhelming. Food highlights include the rich, hearty chili that was so good I ordered a second bowl which was perfect for post-race recovery. The wings were impressive with their crispy texture and delicious barbecue or hot sauces for dipping, while the burger arrived cooked perfectly medium--juicy and satisfying, hitting the spot just right. Non-alcoholic Blue Moon options provided a spot-on beer taste without the alcohol, perfect for athletes or designated drivers, and the sweet potato fries delivered crispy, flavorful perfection that kept the meal on point from beginning to end. Every dish came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered, turning this visit into a new tradition--definitely planning to return next year for the unbeatable combo of vibe, service, and food.
