I love to come here for spray paint usually and plants! Though I do like to "ooh and ahh" over their patio furniture. I love how they display everything to really give you inspo for how you can do up your back yard. They also have fire pits and camping chairs, lots of pots, umbrellas, and even dog toys! It's a super dog friendly store actually. Staff is always helpful here. Parking is always easy peasy. Support your local Ace!

I even have a video showing how empty the aisles were. It took me over 15 minutes just to find someone. The employee I finally found was named Jet. Honestly, I would have been better off not finding anyone at all. When I asked a question about a product, he laughed and told me to "just read the instructions." I explained that the answer wasn't in the instructions and that I had already searched YouTube without success. Instead of trying to help, he continued laughing and making jokes. I told him that this wasn't funny to me, that my project had come to a complete stop, and that I urgently needed to speak with someone knowledgeable. He said he was the only person working in that department that day and continued laughing. The only bright spot was the Customer Service team. The women at the Customer Service desk helped resolve my issue in less than 30 seconds. They were professional, helpful, and actually cared. The manager wasn't much help either. When I filed a complaint, he simply said he would "talk to Jet and look into it." Based on the interaction, it felt more like he was protecting a friend than taking a customer complaint seriously. Very disappointing experience.

Hi everyone, I work at happy days ACE Hardware store we welcome u to come to our store we having some sales on BBQ and tools and other stuff. Im working in Encino store which it's inpendent so we employed 8 people if want to work our store come put in applications in we see if qualified for a position. We open on Monday, Wednesday-Saturday at 9 am to 530 pm and closed on Tuesday's and Sundays but In future we probably open more days but have staffing or another store manager in place. We looking into in future try it out. Our staff wonderful and awesome and be good customer services we our store manager James and me sale associate manager helping u need on your projects just give good review on google or yelp and be good for us. We work hard to and try best to help find what u need, if any questions ask for joe or James or one of employees we have some disabilities employees from programs to asst. u, no one perfect these days and we all Christians at some point. Our prices maybe different then home depot or Lowes but not ace cooperate thst be in Van Nuys and we open more stores in valley soon. We hope see u in our store soon. And always come to our store and look around and no mask required but we highly recommend it or optional everyone now but we la County ease off any rules of covid 19 requirements now. As vaccine it's same rule as mask one. If sick please stay home when feel better u can come in. We some ideas to improve our stores and love hear from you. We closed as right now due inventory survey of the store, we let u know we reopen but needs something or talk to someone just knock on door and ask Joe we getting magements and owners future but it probably something else. We don't whats going on? This store is just incredible. The main reason for this is the angel who works there. George is a gift to the world. He is brilliant and know everything about the store. He is kind to everyone and I can tell all the employees who work there also love him. He knows so much about every product. He makes sure to give you the best deal and will not let you leave without making you smile and giving you a piece of candy. I called Zett on a Sunday and he (sorry forgot his name) said come on in. He was so friendly and kind when I got there. He listened to my frustration and then brought me 3 packs of towels that I needed. I also asked if he had something to remove hair color from a fiberglass shower, he said I have exactly what you need. I'm not sure what it is, but it works perfectly. I spray some then a little wipe with the magic eraser and it's gone. They have great prices and have a large selection of products. Make sure to call first to make sure they have it, people have caught on to this gem in Glendale.

I came in with pieces of paper, each fastener taped to them with the quantities I needed written next to them (we're talking 50 to 280 pieces per item). The gentleman who helped me didn't blink. He measured every single piece (and even double check the thin washers with a fancy caliper to make sure it's the correct size), sourced what he had, and had the bulk of my order packaged up in what felt like minutes. For the four items he didn't have in stock, he's shipping them directly to my house by next week. No fuss, no "sorry, can't help you" he just found a way to make it work. This is exactly the kind of place that should exist but feels increasingly rare. If you need hardware and you actually need help (not just a warehouse and a prayer) come here first.
