We get takeout here, and the food is very good. I really like the szechuan tofu, which is really like a mock chicken. My daughter really likes the fried rice and fried wontons. The vegetables in the dishes are very fresh and well-cooked. The sauces seem less sticky and are very flavorful. We will definitely be back. read more

Our family has ordered food from this restaurant before and with mixed results. At times the food can be delicious and at other times it's not very good. Yesterday was one of those days when the food was disappointing to say the least. I ordered cashew chicken but what was on the plate was chicken but there was not a single cashew to be found. My niece ordered sweet and sour pork but the chicken was so overcooked that it was not edible. I tried it and it was bad!! They really need to clean the place, it is not appealing at all when you walk in. Typical Chinese food. Nothing to write home about and nothing off putting. The same lady is always there to take my order and the food is always consistent. It's a nice break from all the fast food around my office. I have only tried the sesame chicken and egg rolls so that is the only thing I can review. The lunch special is on point. I have been a frequent patron of this establishment for years but after witnessing a uncalled discriminatory encounter today. My husband and I will no longer be visiting. A young black guy and his friend politely explained after taking a bite of his food that he was allergic to mushrooms. The woman yelled at him then went on a tangent in her native language and made him seem like he was in the wrong. She proceeded to tell him " he should have known what he ordered ". It's not like the dish listed the contents of the meal so he had no clue there were mushrooms. She took his plate and counted how many shrimp he ate out the plate. She claimed he ate 3 shrimp out the dish and it would be $2 for each shrimp he ate. HOW? Would she know the number when it was stir fry of chicken and other meats! As well as his dish total cost was only $7 so how does 3 shrimp out of the very dish cost $6? Sounds like a lie! Not only was the man calm and polite, he offer to re buy the same dish made without mushrooms and no refund. She proceed to yell at him THEN recorded him like he was the unruly one. I wish I was lying when I say I found a large bug with big beady eyes in my fried rice here once. I was horrified and scarred for life. Excellent service and food. Not fancy, but a good place to stop on the way home and pick up a hot, satisfying meal. The Mongolian beef is spicy and full of tender beef bits. Very good egg rolls. I ordered 3 containers of hot and sour soup to go. As I was paying the man, I saw a female employee in the kitchen blow her nose, then throw the tissue in the trash, then dish up my soup, bag it then she handed it to me! Her nose was red as if she had a cold! Very unsanitary to blow nose and not wash hands, but especially considering it appeared as if she had a cold! I held the bag by the bottom to carry home. I immediately called the restaurant and was told to call back at 4:30 . I called at 5:00 and asked to talk to manager, then was told to call back tomorrow at 4:30. I hung up and immediately received a call from a lady and I told her my issues. She said " I will try to talk to her and tell her she needs to wash her hands!" Try to tell? The food here is very good. This is our favorite restaurant for carryout Chinese food. The one major complaint that I do have is their inability to get orders correct as ordered. Twice now we have ordered won ton soup. When we get home we have egg drop soup. We will be checking our orders from now on. That shouldn't be necessary but apparently it is. read more

I rolled in at 3:05 and sheepishly asked if I could still get the lunch menu and the lady that was working was so nice and let me order the lunch deal General Tsu's chicken and fried rice. As you can imagine, this made me very happy. I waited for less than ten minutes before my food was made, which wasn't that long at all. You do have the option of calling in prior to picking up your food. The General Tsu's chicken was great. A little spicy, a completely full meal, and the eggroll that accompanied it was interesting in that there was an almost cherry-like flavor to it. I thought it was unique, and I was pleased with the taste. My lunch meal was around $5.75 and it is enough for at least two meals. I'm going to be eating the rest for lunch today. This used to be one of my favorite Chinese restaurant places to eat years ago but I stopped going because of the rudeness of the lady who normally takes the orders I stopped going and haven't been in there for about 3 years. Well because I believe in 2nd chances I decided to stop in since I could get a quick take out. When I walked in there was a younger lady taking the orders so I was ok with placing my order. I was specific in my order of shrimp fried rice and a shrimp egg roll. While I waited for my food the young lady who took my order left for the day. When I got home I took out the egg roll & took a bite, I proceeded to take a bite of the fried rice I realized it was Beef instead of shrimp. I packed the order back up to take back thinking all along maybe they just got the order mixed up and gave me the wrong one. Nope I got to the restaurant and the older rude lady was at the counter and when i told her that had ordered shrimp fried rice but got beef instead she proceeded to argue with me and told me that she knows I told "her" that I wanted beef. I don't even eat beef period! I told her that she didn't take my order it was the young girl who was there earlier. Instead of her admitting the error she proceeded to argue with me with another customer sitting there. The other customer said "she's always rude." She unHappily remade my order but with a total attitude and practically threw my order at me when it was done. I'm at an age now that I will not accept bad service from anyone or anywhere that I have to pay for. I will never go back to this establishment because of the Rude lady who works the counter. You'd think that steamed vegetables with tofu would be easy enough. No, we order the food, having some difficulty explaining that we don't want the chicken, replace it with tofu. I get home and it is chicken with tofu. I called to say my order is wrong and they take another call and take their order before getting back on the phone. She returns to the phone and I say I will be in to get what I ordered. I drive back over there and return my food . I asked to get rice, since I used half of it in the food I wouldn't eat. Not a single apology. She gives me my steamed begetables. I ask about getting more rice and she throws a fit-yelling in her language to the kitchen help. She does give me a small rice after her fit. I thought I would give this place a try as the old restaurant I use to go to closed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
