I am on vacation and wanted dinner. I was in the mood for Chinese. Nothing close to me is that good so I decided to go a little further from home. I settled on "Happy King Kitchen" and I quickly regretted it. When I saw the pictures online, they looked great. I thought I was in for a treat, however, that couldn't have been further from the truth. I started with the crab ragoons. A must in my home. Another name for them is cheese wontons. Key word is cheese. These had no cheese and a really bad flavor. That with the water down red sauce and they didn't come close to my top ten list. Next was the chicken. I got a sesame seed chicken with pork fried rice. The chicken itself was flavorless and tough to eat. They seemed chewy and I couldn't finish it. I almost never throw food away, yet here I was doing just that. The only item on the list that was good was the rice. But I'm sure, no one messes up rice. I put my attention into eating that. Ordered delivery via grubhub. Hot shredded beef was not shredded, and oversauced, too sweet! So was the orange chicken. The fried stuff is standard and hard to fail. Make sure to tell them not too much sauce! Be careful of delivery fees(customers who dont pay attention end up paying crazy fees)- they automatically add tip in addition to delivery fee AND service charge! I made sure i checked. That was enough. $18 for delivery- no need to pay "tip" in addition to that. read more

So my friend was REALLY craving crab rangoon on this rainy cold day. So I went ahead and used their online system to order. Their new website is https://www.kingscitykitchen.com/ by the way. I also saw they had shrimp toast which most places don't have. So, I decided to order that as well. I ordered at 3pm, and I waited for them to call. They didn't call for like 30 minuets, so I was confused. I called them to see what was the status of my order. When I called them, the cashier explained to me that someone else claimed to order the same thing online!!!!! I was so upset that a customer would do that! I didn't know people just went around stealing people's orders. Well it wasn't the restaurant's fault, and the cashier was actually really nice about it, so they actually cooked up another order of the previous one that was stolen. She said I could come to pick up the order, and that it was ready for me. So I picked up my order, and when I got home the food was still really hot and crispy. The crab rangoon came with the typical red sweet chili sauce that isn't spicy at all. The sauce came in a large sauce cup, and gave us a very generous portion of it, I still have some left over. The shrimp toast usually comes with 2 according to their menu, but I got 3, I assume it was because they probably felt bad about what happened. It wasn't a big deal that I had to wait 30 mins. Because it was worth it!!!!!! The food was so good! I saw other bad reviews of this place, so I thought it was going to be really bad. But I ordered these appetizers because of the small margin of error for the crab rangoon. The shrimp toast was very flavorful. It's actually difficult to make shrimp toast not soggy, and it wasn't soggy! It was a great snack on a cold day. Not sure if their main dishes are good quality or not, but if you're craving for a snack I recommend the crab rangoon and the shrimp toast! :) read more

The food was okay. I ordered fried dumplings, pork lo mien and garlic wontons. I would recommend their fried dumplings if you want something to try but I personally don't like their pork lo mien and the garlic dumplings are okay. So this could be good for a back up choice? read more

Wish I could give negative stars , this place is worse then shit under your shoe on a summer day. Oh my god literally the worst Chinese food I think I've ever had. Food literally (everything and I mean everything) tasted like it was cooked in an ashtray with water everything tasted like cigarettes. Tried them for the first time last night and was very impressed!!! I got the plain lo mein, fried dumplings, boneless ribs, sesame chicken and pork fried rice. Everything was great!!! The general tso's bean curd changed my life. You may think you don't like tofu. That is fair. Tofu can be a little weird. But their tofu is crispy pure heaven that soaks up the delicious sauce. It goes so well with the fried rice. read more
