One is an order yourself cash only and the other register is operated by a worker. The area for order and pick up is extremely small and tight knit. Quick stop for a take out. I like the variety with corn dogs and waffles with the Boba tea. Layout could be improved as there is a table right where the takeout queue is. On the other side of the room where there is no traffic, though is spacious. Almost too spacious. But my regular drink, the Kumquat Lemon Green Tea is perfect. Both places are good but the guy behind the counter was so helpful with everything and so friendly and that alone makes this one edge the other location out for top spot. I've been to individual Mochi Nut and Happy Lemons, so I was interested in their collaboration. My friend and I each got a mochi nut, hotdog, and a drink. A one-stop place for some Happy Lemon bubble waffle & drinks, Mochinut and Chungchun Rice Dog! Yum! We stopped by here several times and they almost always have a long line. However during our latest visit, it seems that they've eliminated a human cashier altogether, so you're just lining up to place your order on the screen and pay in the attached card-reader. There were several staff working behind the counter since everything is made to order. They are quick to approach if you need to ask them something too. You get to customize your drinks for ice level and sugar level. For the rice dogs, you can also customize them whether they're coated in sugar or not and your choice of your dipping sauce, although to be honest, they're already really good as it is. We didn't have to wait that long for our order. They call out the order number in your receipt but there's also a screen displaying the current order that's ready to be picked up at the counter. The whole place smells so good from the waffle and mochinut, it definitely tickles your appetite. It's quite spacious inside, however lack of seatings. You bus your own table but most people just take their order to go instead of dining in. There's a spot with leafy background for Instragramming your food and drink. WiFi is free but you have to ask the staff for the wifi password. Plenty of parking. in the private lot but tends to get busy as it's shared with the restaurants next door. All and all, we always leave happy but just gotta pack a little extra patience waiting in the long line as people usually take their sweet time customizing their order, but I think the staff themselves do a great job in preparing the order very quickly once you've placed your order. I've been coming here for a few years and still enjoy it. There is indoor seating again following COVID, but it's a good place to just order and go. There's plenty of fruit tea/lemonade options. I usually get the mango lemonade or the yakult tea when it's available. They have tapioca, pudding, jelly and all sorts of toppings available as well. The bubble waffles are also great snacks to pair bubble tea with but they also have Korean style dogs and mochinuts. The line can get long during peak hours so there might be a wait to get your order depending when you go. The new self ordering tablets make it a lot faster to order however. Expect to spend about $6-8 for tea and $5 per snack. There's a nice fake vegetation wall art for cool photos. The staff are super nice here and I enjoy coming. Happy Lemon's a great place for boba, however this location is fairly new and still working on consistency. The other locations have raised my standard for Happy Lemon in general. I've been many times since they opened and there's always a long line for good reason. It's one of the better places around Edmonds/Lynnwood area for boba. Orders are sometimes incorrect though and the staff are already extremely busy dealing with the long line of customers that correcting an order might be inconvenient. In addition to that, wait times are often higher than you'd expect or like from a boba place. For a Happy Lemon, this place is rated lower than other Happy Lemons. Let me start by saying this: Arizona has okay boba tea. Some are really good, most are not. I wasn't sure what to expect when we came to Seattle to visit. I ordered the boba milk tea and was super happy that I could adjust the sweetness level! I can not stomach most places in AZ because they don't allow this. I ordered it at half sweetness, which ended up being perfect for my taste! The boba was perfectly cooked, too! My kiddos each got a bubble waffle, chocolate, and oreo cookie flavors. The banana and the coffee were both super overpowering and weren't enjoyable. Just be careful what you order because many of the flavors are intense and take away from it. Drink was not good. Matcha powder they put on top was chunky. The donuts though...pretty good. They are lighter than than dochi and I like that they have tropical flavors (less frills). First bite was a little oily but I think overall it's pretty solid. My partner prefers dochi because the texture of the dough is more mochi like. Korean hot dogs, and bubble waffles. These are the must haves when you come here. First thing, the name Korean Hot Dog doesn't do it justice. Imagine a corn dog but crispier, with more flavor, and eating it while floating on a cloud of heaven and nirvana. There are several options to choose from. I went with the half cheese and half hot dog version. The first half is a thick and gooey mozzarella style center. The exterior seems to have two types of coasting. The first is a thin layer of batter then covered in a light panko style breading. The first bite was so crisp and light and then followed by an amazing stringy gooey goop of heaven. I wished the experience wouldn't end but then came the second half of the hot dog which had a standard hot dog in the core which offset the cheesy goodness I was consuming. Sooooo good!! Then I had a regular bubble waffle. Never had one before. I was so impressed with how crisp and light this tasted. There was a subtle sweetness that wasn't too overpowering. I ended up getting an Oreo cream dip with it and it was AMAZING. Coming back to try one of the other versions of hot dogs next time and will try a mochi donut next. Until next time... read more

I'm normally a Happy Lemon fanatic! I regularly go to the Bellevue Square store, and pre-covid I frequented multiple locations in Asia when traveling. The Bellevue location has room for improvement but definitely satisfies cravings. Maybe this Edmonds location needs some time to perfect their drink recipes and practice since they're new? I ordered the Ube Milk with Taro Ball, an Original Bubble Waffle, and 2 Mochinuts (Oreo and Strawberry). The generous two stars I've given reflect the Mochinuts, which are actually pretty tasty. They're chewy, and have just the right amount of sweetness. The Ube Milk and Bubble Waffle could only be described kindly as with little flavor, and harshly as horrendous. The Ube Milk is extremely watered down, with only mild Ube flavor. It was like I paid $6 for a cup of water, then they added a few drops of milk and sweetening to it. Not to mention they forgot to add the taro balls in it at first. The Ube Milk at Bellevue has a really vibrant purple color to it and a generous amount of puff cream. What I got at Edmonds was a diluted white/purple something with a hurried swipe of cream. Getting to the bubble waffle...They do have the crisp texture accurate, but I can make plain white toast at home better than this. There just wasn't enough egg flavor. I'm going to keep going to the Bellevue location. Hopefully in later months they will have improved their drink making and I will give them another try! I was so excited to hear that another bubble tea shop opened up in place of the Taiwanese shave ice spot (Black Ball) in Edmonds. It was nice to see they were busy (luckily after I ordered). There were cute photo IG-worthy backdrops on the walls for customers to promote and inform the masses on the "Gram". Along with bubble teas, "Mochinut"- sells chewy mochi donut hybrids, bubble honeycomb shaped waffles and Chung Chun Rice Dogs (Pocket-sized gourmet Korean corn dog specialist offering a variety of inventive toppings and variety of dipping sauces). I only saw 4, maybe 5 employees at 2:45-3pm on a weekday feverishly completing food delivery orders and in-store customers while the line continued to grow. It did take about 20-25 minutes for me to get my 2 drinks and 3 donuts. With that being said, the staff were really friendly and I'm sure tried their best to get them out as fast as they could. The drinks were good. The only suggestion I have is that I hope they're able to add plain grass jelly. The menu listed rainbow jelly (a slight fruity flavor) and lychee jelly. My boyfriend and I LOVE Happy Lemon and have been going to Seattle or Bellevue just to get their milk teas and bubble waffles. Come to find out there's one in Edmonds?! What!! Not sure how long this location has been open, but I'm so happy! Also love that it's right next to Dong Ting Chun and Boiling Point! This Happy Lemon is a bit different from other locations since they also offer Mochinuts (which I do enjoy but not many great flavor options) and Korean corn dogs. We got the wintermelon milk tea with boba (which was soft, chewy, and delicious!), the pistachio cheesecake mochinut (meh, sour in a fruity kinda way rather than a cream cheese kinda way), the caramel churro mochinut (better than meh but not as flavorful as I would have liked), and the corn dog with the ramen noodles on the outside (pretty good!). My friend got the volcano corn dog which was labeled as spicy but there should definitely be a more serious warning. It was VERY spicy (I tried it) and he loves eating spicy food. He had to tear the fried batter with the volcano sauce on it off because he could barely handle it. LOL, so be warned! Overall very happy with this place! read more
