Man where do I began. I usually get acrylic or let my nails grow longer but I choose shorter this time and I really liked the outcome , the color btw was BEAUTIFUL.This place if so different from any other salon, the WHOLE vibe, the GENTLE NESS and care they have for you is beyond any other salon has ever treated me. I'm not saying this bc I want them to look good but man it's hard to find a salon that isn't pushing you for the highest price and trying to get you out as quickest they can. I think this is a great salon and I love that it accommodates my 8 year old daughter! So let's start with my experience, it's a great hidden gem however I wish it had more updated pedicure options when I say that I mean they have 3 options and the lady said the last 2 are pretty much the same option I added hot stones for $5 more which is a must for me it's not listed anywhere as an add on i had to ask if they had that option. The ladies were super friendly and actually made conversation with me and my daughter which I loved because most of the time they just talk amongst themselves. I wasn't crazy about the "products" used for the massage part they used cuticle oil which left my skin feeling oily and soft, but I literally have the same one at home because I do my own nails and my friends and family i just don't do toes. I ended up paying $50 for me and $20 for my daughter but she had the real salon experience the chair had a mini massage function and they actually used product on her feet it was $15 for her pedicure and $5 more for her nails, she loved it!!! I probably won't be doing it again just because I need my extraness i am that person that will pay $80 for just me. But in all I did like the end results it was worth the money for both me and my daughter but next time I visit it will be just for her experience. read more

I've been coming here to see Tom for at least six years with a break of 8 months and that's only because I was living in Connecticut. Before finding Tom I would jump from salon to salon because I couldn't find anyone that did them perfectly. Tom is a very sweet man, great at what he does and the busiest at this salon. The absolute favorite thing about this place for me is that they are always on time for appointments. I have been there when they turned people away and asked them to come back at a later time because they had appointments. I appreciate this as someone who always makes appointments and hates having to be told to wait because they overbooked themselves. The staff are SO sweet. All of them. It's definitely not the most expensive place I've gone, but not the least expensive either. My nails have been lasting 2.5 weeks or so. I also have gotten a few pedicures here too. The pedicure list looks a little strange but I guess they are just trying to use luxury spa products. They have the paraffin wax and hot rocks, you just have to ask them for it. Diana was wonderful! Great attitude and very attentive. She was patient and she did a wonderful job on my pedicure & manicure. When it came to applying the shellac polish, I felt she could of done better. The polish was on my skin. She did try to fix it, but with shellac polish you can only do so much. My polish only lasted 6 days. The polish was coming off and chipped. I will go back for pedicure, but not for shellac. read more

If there was ever a shop that was 100% on customer service, it would be this one. Make an appointment or just walk in if you have some time to spare, they'll find you a place within a few minutes if it isn't too busy. Tom and Van, the owners of the shop, are two of the friendliest, most hard working people ever. Personally, I always like to get pedicures, and regardless of the nail technician, the service is always nothing less than excellent. Their tools are properly sanitized, the smell of the nail polish/chemicals is never overbearing (no headaches here) and overall, the shop is aesthetically pleasing. While lounging in their sweet new massage chairs, Mama Van will always offer you water/magazines, as well as making sure the water is a comfortable temperature for you..she might even ask if you want to change the tv channel if you don't want to watch Maury (but who doesn't want to watch Maury). They have an incredible color selection, and it always takes me a while to pick one because they have every color and every brand under the sun! You can tell the staff really works to establish relations with their customers because you'll see Tom and Van always acknowledging clients on a first name basis, which always makes us feel very welcomed. Calf massages, hot towels, this shop is a great place to come if you just want to enjoy your mani/pedi service. Not to mention, these people are artists, should you want a flower on your toes, Mama Van does it for you. You want hello kitty or coffin nails, Mr. Tom will make sure you're on fleek for whatever holiday you're celebrating. After a disappointing decline in the service at my usual shop I stopped by this salon and after conversing with the staff there I made an appointment with Mr. Tom. Based upon Yelp reviews. I was excited to find what I hoped would become my new go to place. However, that is not what happened. I requested an acrylic fill and polish color tip. During my appointment Mr .Tom tried to speak with me but - no disrespect - I could not understand his English - I could not understand nor convey my thoughts. 2 hours later (and the only customer in the shop) I left $50 poorer and with an unsatisfactory product. Within an hour my top coat began to crackle. Not the quality I was seeking and have since found a new salon. read more

Tom is now using the process where he dips your nails in the powder and my nails look incredible!!! They are much thinner than the acrylic. Absolutely love how I am treated there. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I work in the area but I live in Houston, so I'm not a regular customer at this salon, but I needed to get my nails done and during my lunch break was the only time I had available. I got on Yelp and saw that this place had pretty good reviews, so I called in the morning an made an appointment for 11:15am that same day. At around 10:45am they called me and asked if I could come in later, but since this was just supposed to be a quick lunch break appointment I couldn't come in later; but they said that was fine and they could still take me at 11:15am. So I pull up to the shop, ready to get my shellac manicure and everyone in the shop is busy with other customers, so I was just like whatever and reschedule for the next day with the man who does shellac. So next day I come in and the man isn't there. The woman tells me she can do my manicure so I sit down and let her do it. Now I had only gotten shellac a couple times before, but I could tell her work was sloppy and that she didn't usually do shellac, but by that time my lunch break was almost over and it wasn't that bad. I got this manicure on Wednesday... IT DIDN'T EVEN LAST THROUGH THE WEEKEND!! ALL OF THE SHELLAC IS PEELED OFF! I called to talk t the manager just now, and the woman picked up and said that it was my fault that the polish peeled off..tuh! NEVER AGAIN, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more
