This place is a waste of money. TLDR: cut me while filing, nails were lumpy and chipped the next day, They convinced me to do dip instead of acrylic but the nail tech didn't know what she was doing. It was lumpy, one of the tips wasn't glued on correctly so it lifted the next day. Even the dip she put on started chipping the next day. I had to keep asking her to file one that was had a big glob on the side and asking her to put more acrylic on one that have a big empty spot in the middle. She got frustrated and someone else to take over for her and then they were more arguing in a different language while one held each on my hands and were doing different things to each hand so I couldn't keep track of what was happening. So while one was fixing the lumps I pointed out on one hand the other was putting a gel top coat on the other hand (which was also not even). I remember pointing out that you could see all the bubbles in the acrylic and every layer line from where the dips were and how it wasn't supposed to be like that so she put a pink gel coat over the top and I said wasn't the point of picking a dip color supposed to be so you didn't have to do a color on top? And she insisted that the gel was clear even though I could see the label said ballet pink #601 DND and I could see the color. She straight up tried to gas light me to my face while I watched her put pink gel over the pink powder. And when I tried to stop her and say no it's still lumpy you have to smooth it before you put the top coat, she insisted that the gel would smooth it out. It did not. And the bubbles and dip lines are still visible even through the pink gel. The next day the dip chipped off the corner of the thumb and the thumb tip started lifting from my actual nail. It hasn't even been 24 hours. Also the second lady filed till it bled. I have no idea why they decided to have two people working on me at the same time but it was stressful and made it even harder to communicate that my wishes were not being met. read more

Firstly, this review doesn't go out to the owners employees. This goes out to the owner herself. I was skeptical about coming back as a regular customer, because my last appointment. Out of no where her prices went up and she decides to let me know after doing my nails (red flag). Today I called before coming in and asked if there was walk ins and she said yes. I got to the nail shop within 5 mins exact and go inside. Turns out she's double booked within those 5 minutes. She asks if I can come back or do dip powder. I said I don't mind dip powder, although I haven't had dip powder in years. She has one of her other employees do it and I asked how much was a full set with regular polish, both ladies said $35 and the lady that did my nails kept asking if I wanted gel or powder. I finally said "ok powder" I asked how much the additional charges would be. She said $5 so $35 + $5 = $40. I ended up not liking the dip powder color because it was not coral like the polish color. She said she'll fix it with gel (no additional cost) fast forward to the end and I'm ready to pay for my nails that don't look worth $40 (pictures will be included) and she tries to say they're $45 lol I said no and explained everything I was told by the both of them. The owner started getting loud with me, rolls her eyes, and throws her arms out and walks away. I've been a client here for 2 years and I'll never be going back. Highly unprofessional, horrible nail job with bumps and globs (not smooth at all), and horrible customer service towards me. read more

I feel bad writing a review, but I don't want anyone else throwing $36 to the wind like I did. I don't get anything fancy when I get pedicures, just plain polish. I did not think you could mess that up but I was proven very wrong. I had to go back 1 minute after leaving the salon because the polish on my big toenails was literally coming off as I walked. The lady redid them quickly and had me sit for a few minutes under the dryer thing. I left and had a long leisurely dinner with my sandaled toes out of range of any harm. When I got home, I looked at them and my big toes still didn't look dry and kind of bunched up. My friend pressed them very lightly and left a huge nail dent. I woke up this morning and they looked even more messy. The only thing I can think is they're using dollar store product poured into opi bottles because I have never ever had a problem with a pedicure getting messed up after leaving the salon. Vernon Nails appears to be a clean place. I had a basic a manicure done. One the best hand massages I have had in sometime. The place was quiet and had locals with prescheduled appointments. Walk-in's are welcomed. The salon offered mutiple services including eye extension services. The main downside was the salon appeared solely focused on gel nails and struggled with a limited supply of high quality standard nail polish such as the OPI brand. Lastly, the place did not seem too friendly. However the place appearing unfriendly, I take as the manicurist was having a bad day. If you looking for a nail salon located in downtown Roseville which offers mutiple services and clean I would definitely recommend this place. I recent moved almost a hour away so I tried some closer but I was not happy with any of them so I travel to roseville to get my nails done with Ana. At first I had a positive experience, but see my update at the bottom. I got a full set with regular polish and I got what I paid for. The shape I wanted was slightly narrow, so the manicurist considered it a "coffin" shape which is $3 extra. I'm happy with my nails for what I paid for, but they do have some issues. All of my nails have small bubbles in them and uneven layers of polish at the base of my nails. There is some rippling in the top coat but that could have been my fault. Overall I'm happy, just don't expect perfection. UPDATE: I went in for a fill and had to drop my review by two stars. My nails were filed down way shorter than I asked for and they aren't straight, despite asking for them to be straightened. The manicure was also very painful. You can see in the updated picture (blue nails) where I started bleeding on a few nails. Final update: Some of my scabs have developed an infection. Dropped review to 1 star. I am embarrassed to of them. They aren't even as big as my regular nail. There are huge gaps underneath and food gets caught in them. Extremely disappointed. They charged me 45$ for this. When I was mentioning something about it they said they are the professional and they are right and laughed.i wish I could get a refund and go somewhere else. I had a wonderful first experience here. Came for a gel manicure $20 and mini pedi $15. Great prices :) First of all, my manicurist was very considerate and did a great job. She put a lot of attention to detail, scrubbing, and was in no rush. Because I got such a basic pedi package I didn't get a leg massage, but that was fine with me. I got a great foot massage. What I was surprised about was the she put a lot of work into making me relaxed. She used hot lotion, and massaged my arms and shoulders! It was great. My nails and toes look perfect. She makes beautiful fans, but she used white glue and it was all over my lid and my lashes were glued together. My eyes and lashes hurt for two weeks from the glue alone. Holy moly!! This is a frightening debacle! Anna did my lashes and I was like- these are way cheap- too good to be true? Yes!! $70 or so bucks later, I wake up the next day and my eyelids are completely swollen and so painful I didn't sleep the entire night. Ladies I am not exaggerating. Beware of the lashes here! I went in to tell Ana and she informed me that this was normal and happens to many of her clients. She would not refund me the money and she tried to take them off but they were so super glued to my EYELIDS that it was impossible. I was in so much pain! she told me to come in in a few days to get them taken off once the swelling went down. I went to the professionals at Love your Lashes across the street instead and the wonderful Lisa told me that it was extremely unprofessional to have glued the lashes to my actual eyelid rather than to the real lash itself. Since getting them done across the street I have had zero swelling zero issues and zero pain. There is not supposed to be pain with eyelash extensions! Do not go here for lashes!! read more

I only rate 4 because I called before I came in and they told me a certain time they were a available and I came in at that exact time and had me sit there for 10 min. I asked how long will it take because I didn't want to soak my feet in water and let it get cold. I also said I could come back but they insisted I stay and they would get started soon. I always feel relaxed in there and my eyelashes are super fantastic. I always get compliments. She's a great nail technician too and her sister gives amazing foot massages. I was so hopeful reading all of the great reviews. I was in town and away from my usual nail salon, so I decided to give this one a chance because I was in a pinch. It wasn't the best manicure I've ever had. I went in for a gel manicure and was pleased to find that it was only $20. However, I was not too pleased with how it turned out. I chose a light color and it turned out really splotchy and there were parts that were thicker than others. Perhaps if I had chosen a darker color it would have been less noticeable. The manicure itself was pretty standard, file, cuticle clip, lotion, etc. All in all, it was a pretty average experience. I probably won't be back. Good price, not so good quality. read more

I never write reviews, however this place was poor. After reading all the good reviews I figured I'd give it a try (especially hearing they had $20 gel manis). I did not go to Anna, so maybe that's why my review will vary from others. But I went in and the lady spent not kidding 20 minutes on my cuticles and I had to ask 3 times to get more cuticle that she had missed, and she just clipped the cutters but didn't actually cut any cuticle. So i knew right away the mani wouldn't turn out good. Then she got polish all the way up under every single cuticle on every finger (which is NOT how you should paint nails, as the polish will peel because of this). Anyway, I left super unhappy and $20 short. Don't go here. read more
