I'm officially addicted! Since the location on Amhert opened I wanted to visit. It took me almost a year to actually just park and go one morning. I've been weekly ever since!! My daughter and I like to go to coffee shop dates on the weekends together , and this time Haraz was the stop. Your instantly transformed transported to a new world. The art, cultural, lighting everything is just so beautiful, and cozy. They have card and small board games available to play, while you wiat for your order or during your visit. The staff is always so friendly and kind. Ive been to the location on Elmwood as well. Almost 2 , 3 times a week lol . And the staff in both locations are wonderful . Not the drinks and food. There is soooo much to choose from , and everything looks and smells equally delicious. Our first visit I landed on the Pastashio frappe, and my daughter the hot chocolate. For a bit to eat I ordered the Bee bits. Which is Toasted Bread with Cream cheese and Honey. So delicious!!!! Recommend 100%. My daughter ordered two Macaroons. She also enjoyed. Now my go to drink is there Pistachio Latte!!!! Order one next time. You'll thank me later. We've also tired the virual fruit desserts. So far only tried the lemon. Was good but not my favorite. To much cream for my taste. But still very delicious. If you like creamy desserts that would be a great pick. They have soooo much to choose from. I get excited to return everytime. Stopped into Haraz Coffee House to see what they had to offer. I ordered the Coconut Cloud Matcha, which I think was made with coconut milk or coconut water? Either way, there was only the faintest hint of coconut. It was fine, but not something I'd order again. They have so many different flavors though, so I'd definitely come back and try something else. I also came specifically for the fruit desserts, which I originally thought were ice cream. Turns out they're actually white chocolate shells filled with mousse and the actual fruit inside. It's a really fun concept, but unfortunately not really my cup of tea. It was pretty sweet, but somehow still didn't have much flavor. My biggest disappointment was that the staff didn't really know much about the products they were selling. They were friendly enough, but when I asked questions about the items, they couldn't really provide much information and even had to call someone else for help, to no avail. For a place with so many unique drinks and desserts, I would've loved to hear more about what I was ordering. Nothing really wowed me this visit, but they have so many interesting drinks that I'd definitely come back and work my way through the menu. 7.5/10. read more

Went after walking around an outdoor market and needed a warm drink. It's super cute inside and there is plenty of space to sit. They also have a large selection of desserts which look amazing. The staff was very friendly and we got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time. I got a small hot chocolate and it was great, it was very creamy and a good level of chocolate. I would definitely recommend it and it is 100% better than Tim's hot chocolate. read more

Was a little hesitant because there were only 13 reviews at the time of this review. But I hope this helps them double and triple it because this place was super good. Staff were excellent and vibing out. Super inviting and warm. The layout and the colors gives honor to their homelands and is good for vibing out, for doing work, or for gossiping with friends. Music is rnb. Heard everything from 90s to present day to a mix that sounded futuristic. The place felt calming. There is also a small shelf with about 8 different board games as well. The coffee list is extensive and has a ton of options. We came on a Saturday around 4pm. We got the saffron latte iced which was so smooth. It's very different but it smacked. And the pistachio latte hot. You can't go wrong with anyone. I wished I lived here so I could come back but next time I'm here I'll be definitely getting that salted caramel latte. Such a cute little gem! Me and my sister visited this space to have our first Matcha and were pleasantly surprised at how it looked inside! The atmosphere was great and seating was perfect. We both liked the Matcha but it would def take some getting used to. The colors were really cute I didn't even want to mix it together to ruin it lol. Was looking for a new place to work from occasionally and checked out this newly open café in the Elmwood Village and definitely enjoyed the vibe and the service. I got the Adeni Chai ($6 for 16oz) and Blueberry scone as a treat and they both tasted great. Overall, the space is nice with seating options in the front half and in the back part. They even have a few games and fun puzzles that you can play with as well. read more

The interior is absolutely stunning. It was very clean and sleek. We tried the cream fruit pastries. I'm not exactly sure what they're called. All of them were pretty decadent and had a good flavor. It was around $52 for the four (blueberry, mango, lemon, orange). It was a little pricey but honestly a decent price for these pastries considering the demand for them. The lemon was perfectly light. The mango was seemed to lack a little flavor but I honestly enjoy a duller flavor. The blueberry one had great taste although it was a tad sweet for me. Lastly, the orange one reminded me of an orange creamsicle flavor. Overall, a great cafe, I highly recommend. read more

The coffee is OUT OF THIS WORLD. They use the nicest Arabica beans and it comes out divine everytime. The pastries are just as good. If you try anything, try the lattes (ask for a little vanilla pump in there) and the Bee Bites/Milk Cakes. Wonderful staff with pertinence for the satisfaction of their guests. The cafe itself is perfect for studying and they even have a nook in the back if you want a more private/quiet experience. Very underwhelming. The girl working the register was rude, unpleasant and acted very put out by my asking a simple question about one of the milk cakes. The fruit shaped sweets are really pretty and clearly made with care but don't taste nearly as good as they look. I don't recommend this place and won't be back. I might have come back to try something else but the girl working the register really made me not want to even stay for what I ordered today. I'm disappointed. I'm unsure if I'm just late to the game to call this a hidden gem, but this place is great. Inside is super clean and well kept. The workers were very helpful and kind upon entering. The pistachio latte is immaculate and a must try at least once in your life. I found the cheesecake to be a bit bland, but it still got the job done. Absolutely loved this place. Very inviting and cozy atmosphere with stunning Yemeni culture interior that is perfect for studying or chilling out. Lots of seating especially if you walk through the back area. Music not too loud. Place is kept clean especially the restroom. Price ranges from $4-$8. Outstanding customer service. Summer is so friendly, takes her time explaining the menu and offer recommendations. Also to the guy cleaning the tables that asked us if we were enjoying our food and stay. This was the first time trying Haraz. I was recommended it by a friend who knows I love good coffee and great atmosphere. Super nice design of shop. Clean and nice seating. The baristas and employees were super inferential, slow to take an order, and messed up two orders (not mine). The employees were too interested in each other and customers were less important. I saw two customers wait several minutes while the baristas talked and one was drinking their own drink, while still glancing over toward the waiting customers at the register. Beverages and beebites were delicious. Staff seems to be easily overwhelmed / under experienced however. There's been a couple Saturday / Sunday mornings where nobody would take my order until other orders were completed. The place was almost empty and there were 2-3 staff members. This is not industry standard service, baristas should be able to multitask better and at least take an order quickly. read more

The service is always amazing. Brian was extremely kind and made a killer pistachio latte. The Dubai chocolate bar was insanely good. This was not some Tik Tok bs but, authentic and delicious. The bar was wrapped in a vintage paper including some delicious recipes I want to try. read more
