Came here for brunch and it was so fun! Except the day was extremely high winds for us, so it was hard to sit outside on their tables to fully enjoy. Not their fault, just our luck for coming when the weather was insane haha I got their three egg scramble with their sausage, mushroom and spinach! It was really fluffy and good. Will definitely come again on a day with less wknd

Came here for Mother's Day back in May. It was a busy Sunday morning. We came to celebrate my mom and my sister. It's. A perfect place for a family. My niece was able to run an around in the outside area while waiting for the live performance. We ordered a few burritos, quesadillas, and breakfast sandwich. It was all good. I forget what drink I got, it was coffee cocktail. It wasn't my cup of tea. It was too strong would have like a sweeter. The veggie burrito I got was delicious. My favorite thing of the burrito is how they wrap it around and the inside is all the ingredients. Overall still one of my favorite places to eat at.

Love the vibe, the burgers, the lawn, the dog-friendly environment, and the live music... all next to the boats!

I have been eating here for years because I love their eclectic menu including Hawaiian fare, location near the Channel Islands National Park, outdoor tables, and patio overlooking the marina. We can always find a parking spot in their private lot. Our last visit was on a sunny day with a one year old who enjoyed sitting on the grass near our picnic table and eating some of my fruit, while we enjoyed a tasty teriyaki bowl for my husband, a BLT loaded with crispy bacon for our daughter, and a perfect grilled cheese sandwich for me. It is a great casual place for breakfast and lunch with cocktails available. Service was friendly and helpful.

While waiting in line we got to listen to live music which was great. Such a chill & relaxing atmosphere! I had the melt (turkey) and a side of fires and it was very tasty. We sat at the bar and the views were perfect for lunch.

Harbor Cove Cafe overlooks the Ventura Marina very close to the Channel Islands National Park headquarters. There is a covered dining patio, and a lrge lawn with picnic tables. A great place to enjoy a sunny day at the beach. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a wide selection, and they have a full bar- Tiki drinks and PuPu trays being the Happy Hour specialties.

Food was decent but the ambiance was EVERYTHING!!! It's right beside the harbour overlooking the water. You can even bring ur fur babies. The staff was very very welcoming. This place overall is for a nice cozy afternoon brunch.

Such a gem! Lines can get a little long but worth the wait. You can also order drinks and pupus from the table qr codes. Dog friendly with some menu options also! Great views of the harbor. Mai tai was great and the 20oz beer comes in a frosty schooner!

This place was wonderful, definitely come check it out when in Ventura! After a day of hiking and being outdoors on Anacapa Island, I came here on a Friday afternoon to soak up more good weather and island vibes. I read some of the Yelp reviews and all are accurate in that this place has a Hawaiian theme and really makes you feel you're there! Sunny, friendly, laid back. You order at the window, take a number and then find a seat. I chose to sit out in the lawn as Friday nights are karaoke nights so was nice to enjoy my early dinner, a drink and listen to some music. I ordered the calamari and that was very good! Tender and flavorful, it was a lot of food, so had some leftover for a second meal. Coleslaw was good and I usually do not like coleslaw. I had a mai tai, but will say, I probably would pass on this the next time as it was just way too strong for me. Very pretty drink and if you like a very spirity drink, this one is for you. There was a guy singing who was phenomenal and honestly I could have listened to him all night. Great island vibes here, perfect for outdoor seating, but just not the menu is on the tad bit pricier side. I came in on Friday which had happy hour going to 8pm. Check our their HH specials, some good deals. I'd definitiely come back here again when I am in town again! Thanks for a wonderful night, Harbor Cove Cafe!

Best breakfast burrito I've had. Veggies with egg whites and diced potatoes. Served with a side of salsa which had the perfect amount of heat. Cute outdoor seating with fire pits and indoor seating option available. 10/10!

This place has been on my bucket list for a while now, and my family and I finally made it! It gives Hawaiian vibes, and the best part is that it's right here in beautiful Ventura, so you don't have to travel all the way to Hawaii to feel like you're there! We were there for Happy Hour, and I ordered a Mai Tai. It was amazing and just the right amount of alcohol. For the food, we ordered sesame-crusted ahi tuna, coconut shrimp, and chicken skewers. Everything was so tasty! My favorite was the coconut shrimp. We also received a complimentary pineapple upside-down cake, which was so moist and sweet. I enjoyed it. We also ordered chocolate chip cooks which are made from scratch there. The service was truly exceptional. Tracy was fantastic! She was super sweet, friendly, and helpful. One thing that makes a big difference when eating out for me is good customer service, and they really go above and beyond for their customers. We also had the pleasure of meeting Randy, the owner, who was out there helping serve customers. This place has definitely become one of my favorite places to eat!

The outdoor patio is also very nice and calming, as well as comfortably shaded (which is great on a hot day). The food is great, and I think they are especially good on sweet breakfast items. The beignets are wonderful: crispy in the outside and soft on the inside. They aren't hollow like other beignets I've had, but I actually prefer this version. It's kinda like a light cake consistency. The sauce with them is also superb. My niece got the breakfast sandwich and I was quite envious. The combo of bacon, egg, cheese and brioche is solid, and if I could do it over again I'd order that with the hash brown (to be inserted in the sandwich). I got the chili verde and it was good, but I'd say other breakfast items I've had (the pancakes, the Benedict) are more uniquely stand out good.

I tried the ahi avocado roll, which came with grilled veggies and at least the ahi wasn't canned (see my pic). I'd be back to try other items on the menu. Cozy interior. Outside covered patio seating here too. We parked in a free lot, across the street and behind other businesses.

What left me uncomfortable was the service. Throughout the meal, I felt singled out and dismissed in ways that were hard to ignore. Staff were outwardly polite and seemed to be making an effort to be friendly, but the interactions often felt forced and noticeably different from the way other customers were being treated. Requests seemed to be met with impatience, and I repeatedly got the sense that I wasn't being welcomed in the same way as others around me. One example was when we asked if a finished plate could be removed to make room for new dishes that had just arrived. The request was met with hesitation, and it felt as though taking the plate was an inconvenience. Later, when I asked for to-go containers, the employee handing them to me appeared visibly strained to be courteous. It was one of several interactions that left me feeling like basic requests were being tolerated rather than accommodated. I can't speak to anyone's intentions, but the overall experience left me feeling unwelcome despite the surface-level friendliness. I came away wondering whether bias played a role in how I was treated. What stood out most was the contrast between how we were treated and how some others were treated. From where we were seated, I observed other customers receiving noticeably warmer service, including more smiles, friendlier conversation, and a more welcoming attitude. My party did not experience that same level of warmth. The food itself was very good, but the service experience would make me hesitate to return.
