Well this is one of those places that IYKYK...I think that's what hip people say these days?! This great cafe is located in the Faria Beach campground right off PCH in between Ventura and Carpinteria. Very, very little food options in this area and Peirano's is great food. Not your usual "campground grill" that's for sure. Peirano's could hold it's own in a ritzy beach town easily. They also have daily specials, a lot of drink options(including adult beverages) and an ice cream cooler in the summer. I ordered the Brisket Chili cheese fries (no nasty onions). It was a very delicious and hardy meal for $12. Good homemade chili. The fries here have a heavy pepper seasoning, I like my pepper and liked the fries. Non pepper lovers, you have been warned...as an alternative the onion rings looked fantastic. Good eats, fresh ocean air and reasonable prices will keep this place alive for many years to come. I have been going to this campground for years and I hope Peirano's sticks around. Hidden gem off of PCH for sure!! Hurry up they close at 3pm and are closed Monday and Tuesday :( read more

Food seems good (when they have it). Coffee is very good. Hours say 8:00am, but better plan on 8:15 or later. Staff arrives about 8:0 and then has to get ready. Their supply chain is inadequate as they were out of most everything on Friday. Don't come hungry. You might be disappointed. read more

First time here, so this rating is only on what we ate which was the turkey sandwich with the house made pistachio pesto. My guy and I shared and he doesn't care for pesto so we asked for it on the side. He said that the sandwich was FANTASTIC even without the pesto, but I wouldn't know because it was AMAZING with! Stopped here on the drive north for the park and coastal access, and was surprised to find a cafe there. It scared me a little because I assumed it was going to be a greasy spoon-- I was pleasantly surprised. The cheeseburger was fantastic. I'd hold off on the sauce next time, as it was way too drippy and totally unnecessary, but otherwise perfect. A bit pricey, though, but that's how it goes for convenience. read more

Tater ToTs !!! A breakfast that is totally on pointe ! The counter person /chef suggested adding fresh pico de gallo to my scrambled eggs which was an amazing upgrade . Delicious breakfast! Such great food for a beach cafe... my son gives the tater tots a 10/10, my vegetarian breakfast wrap was wonderful! Yummy thin tortilla that wasn't all you tasted (I usually dont like these much) with yummy sauce and big enough for my breakfast and lunch meals. It's been a couple years since we have been to Faria, so we were just remembering what had been there previously; well, the 'new-ish' owner's have done a great job creating a little oasis inside this beachpark. While you are not directly on the water, it's easy enough to take your food to go and enjoy it down on the beach! It was great to be able to grab lunch shortly after we arrived, while we were setting up camp; it was equally great to be able to grab breakfast as we were packing up the last day. A few orders of their tasty, hot, crispy french fries throughout the week wasn't so bad either! LOVE that they offer 'adult' beverages, and have set up a nice little dining area in front. What a HUGE difference from what has been there in the past. While I do wish the menu was just a little more diverse, the food was tasty & the service was nothing less than perfect! My son was waiting on our food as we were setting up the rig; as he was walking over to us with the food, he dropped his plate - they helped him deliver our food AND re-made his food without asking for us to cover it. Truly AMAZING!!! We love Faria, and look forward to the next time we can actually get a reservation here, so we have another meal to look forward to!!! read more

I had the Mondo breakfast burrito. It was delicious. Plenty of bacon. This was a vast improvement from the last time I had eaten here under the previous ownership. I have been coming to their campsite for a long time and was disappointed when I last ate here but was impressed to see that the new owners have given the eating area a facelift and are much more personable. They exceeded my high expectations! We love Peiranos in downtown Ventura and was excited to try this location while camping at Faria. My brisket sandwich was amazing! Thick sliced brisket perfectly moist and juicy. So much meat that I had to make two open face sandwich's since it couldn't eat it as a sandwich! We also had the pesto veggie sandwich made vegan and a side of fries. Everything was freshly cooked to order and the fries were HOT! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating to guests dietary needs. If your looking for a cool place to grab lunch on the beach take the extra 5 minutes up the coast to Faria beach! Decided to stay one more night at Faria and wanted to get breakfast. The restaurant serves breakfast until 11 AM and I have always been able to place an order right up to 11:00. A late morning order gives me an early lunch. I love the avocado toast; I wish it was on the lunch menu as I am not a fan of their current lunch offerings. Sadly, today the staff said they had several orders before right 10:50 and decided they wanted to close breakfast orders early in order to take their 30 minute break and to prepare for lunch. Faria's restaurant is superior to Hobson's, at least it was when the hours were reliable. Since the employees closed early I made my own food instead. Gave 2 stars because I like the avocado toast. Would have been a 5 star if the hours were accurate and orders were taken until close like in the past. read more

Yummy, Yummy, Yumm! Deliciousness nestled in a campground beach cafe! For breakfast we ordered the Simple Sunrise and the Emma Wood burrito. The Simple Sunrise's eggs were cooked a perfect medium with tater tots that were crispy and soft inside. The whole grain toast was next level- not sure what bakery it came from, but it definitely didn't taste like it came out of a plastic bag... delicious! The Emma Wood was generously filled with diced pieces of steak with a tasty blend of scrambled egg, cheese, potatoes and pico de gallo. This huge burrito (enough for two meals for me) was full of flavor without the heat. It comes with a side of salsa. A return visit for lunch is very necessary! read more

This really exceeded expectations for a "cafe". We were pleasantly surprised to see that Peirano's was located at the actual campsite. The food was so delicious, especially the juicy brisket and fish and chips. We had a big order with 6 items and it was ready within 15 minutes. Absolutely recommend! We would definitely come here even if we weren't camping because you cannot beat the view and location. They have parking spaces reserved for non-camping cars. read more

I would have given 3.5 but it's not an option and the staff were super nice so I will likely give them another try. Came into Faria for 2 weeks. Hubs and I split the burger and fries first day here. Cook was super nice and the food was hot and fresh. Only issue was it was pretty rare in the middle. I took it back to our RV and didn't want to walk back and make a fuss so we did the best we could with it but it was a $17 burger and fries so I was disappointed. Be sure to tell them yoy want it medium or medium well when you order. read more

Had a great lunch yesterday at the Beachfront Cafe @ Faria Beach. Had the Italian salad and friends had fried chicken sandwich, tri tip, and Italian sausage. We also ordered fries and they were delicious. The young gal with the long dark hair gets an A for service. She did a great job with our order and never stopped working to keep things supplied and cleaned up the entire time we were there. Looking forward to the evening menu and entertainment when that eventually happens. We vowed to never go back when this concession was run by the Main St. meat market but since we love Peirano's restaurant across from the Mission in Ventura we decided to give it a try. We love the new addition of Peirano's Beachfront Café to the beautiful Faria beach. The food is fresh and tasty. The portions are on the larger size. We have tried the hamburger which is delicious as well as the fish tacos which had a generous amount of cod and yummy avocado sauce and homemade tarter sauce. They were cooked to perfection, thanks to the chefs, Chava and Angel. We Also tried the Italian sausage sandwich which was tasty with a surprise hint of spice. Our camping neighbors have tried the breakfast burrito which they raved about, as well as the delicious burgers. I also hear that the salads are quite popular.
