The best bacon I have ever tasted! French toast, eggs and omelettes were all great too. Hash browns were a little bland but I was able to get a chocolate milkshake with breakfast! Prices are reasonable and the staff were friendly and attentive! Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

Traveled from monterey california to here have to say one of the worst place i have been yet, the waitress had a very rude attitude i guess it was may hat or my wife slanted eyes a group came in after ward with four children an Three adult they had there food with in 15 min there had all food that must be cooked, it took over thirty min for ours i had biscuit and gravy already cooked of course when I got it it was cold my wife had steak eggs it was cold had to beg for another cup of coffee while she was filling the others she forgot me i can go on but i wont she had an issue with us she went out of her way for her own . Driving through Egg Harbor City, we stopped here for lunch. This is a neat and clean typical NJ diner, with good food. This place is great! I have been going here since I was a little girl and have always loved their breakfast selections. The portions are pretty generous and the staff is very genuine. The service is great. The atmosphere is just as I have always remembered it--like and authentic diner. Service and food were good. However, after stopping in here for breakfast with my wife I had my credit card copied and stolen with several fraud charges attempted. This was the only place I purchased anything using that credit card on in a months and the fraud charges were tried at a bar down the road. read more

I went there last night with my 77 year old mother. We were talking about how I am 48 years old and it used to so much different and she was reminiscing when she moved here from NY. I'm a regular mostly on Sunday breakfast with other people and we have a red carpet. We were there an hour and a half for dinner, we were ignored, the waitress really didn't give a damn but I kept up the spirits. I was short $2.00 which should be $8 towards her tip no matter what but only had 6 singles for a 20% tip so when I went to pay my bill and gave her two 20's and change for a $38.41 and I accidentally put the wrong change back in my pocket short 8 cents, excuse me, 6 cents she started with her attitude! Then I gave her a dime too much with more attitude! I said sorry and thank you with her face looking at whatever and didn't get a you're welcome. The next Lady got one. I tried again to acknowledge her because I go there all the time and don't want to feel uncomfortable and she walked away. Nope! Sorry I am not going back there as convenient as its been my whole life! read more

On our way back from Absecon we were looking for a classic Jersey diner for a late breakfast and came across the Harbor Diner. We were seated in a booth immediately and offered coffee right away. Like all Greek diners, the menu is immense with something for everyone. I ordered eggs and corned beef hash, it was a huge portion and the potatoes were awesome. My wife had the eggs Benedict and it too was a large portion. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. We left and wished the Harbor Diner was closer to home, but we will return to explore the rest of the menu on our next trip to AC. This is probably one of my favorite diners around and Jersey is filled with them. I definitely recommend the chicken orzo soup, the cheese steaks, clams casino, or pretty much any of their breakfast items. The wait staff are very helpful and service is normally pretty fast. Wow, it is going down hill. Had breakfast at the diner ; coffee so so, eggs ok, pork roll just warmed up, toast barely toasted, potatoes yuck, waitress and service great. Went back for dinner with a group of friends. Some of us ordered gyros. We decided the gyro Nazi must have been in the kitchen cooking. Our meat, what little there was, was overcooked, burnt, and lacked any flavor. My order was all fouled up, and I was charged $2.00 for 4 anchovies on my small Greek salad. We were a group of 12.
