Let me tell you the waiting game at both stores for somebody to help you at the blinds cutting machine is a little longer than necessary. Sarah the ASM was diligent in finding someone to come help me. I already forgot his name but he has been with the company for 13 years and his name is similar to Vincent, but with an O at the end. He was top-notch. Very friendly, great customer service, and just a great attitude. I would come back to the store because of employees like him.

This home improvement store has appliances, tools, parts, and other products for the home. The aisles are clearly labeled with large signs to quickly find the section of products you are looking for. I stopped by to pick up a part I needed instead of ordering it through Amazon. And I quickly found what I needed. It made more sense to come here so I can see the product in-person versus online. Checking out was a little hard to find as it didn't have a large sign hanging over the area - unless I missed it. The employee rang me up through the "Self-Service" machines. She was trying to get me to sign up for their HD credit card. They also have activities for kids - I'm not sure if fits a monthly or weekly thing. I thought that was pretty neat. Overall, I got the product I needed and found other small items I needed as well.

I have 6 dogs plus the occasional fosters so it's great to be able to bring them here for $9.99 each. I appreciate that they offer shampoo, conditioner, brushes, and towels. My only issue is the dryers. For about a year, one didn't work at all and the other only has really cold air. It's a hit or miss on if they have nail trimmers. Maybe I've gotten lucky, but I haven't encountered other folks taking a really long time like other reviews are saying. I don't believe a time limit is necessary. Some pups are easier than others. For example, my Husky is gonna take a lot longer to dry than my MinPin. I think folks are just unreasonable and impatient. I've had 8 folks ahead of me and still been able to wash my dogs within an hour which I think is reasonable. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, especially with my reactive foster dog. My husband was walking with our dog through the store and an employee who also trains dogs approached us with tips. Super helpful and made us feel better. The pup is reactive and the only way he'll learn is by going out into the world to be desensitized. We've encountered some horribly folks at other stores, but here, everyone was caring and helpful. No judgement!

I have been to two harbor freight's and what I like about them is they are like home depot but with a mom and pop feel. They are small enough you don't get lost and come home with a half dozen things you didn't go there for. Price: I don't know the industry standard on tool and part prices or if they are made in China but they are affordable. You might find select exceptions and clearance specials at Home Depot, Walmart, and Costco but Harbor freight has a lot of discounts and free with the purchase of specials. I am satisfied with prices. I consistently get 20% off and a free pair of gloves. I feel like it is a place to go to but that part or tool you need once a year like a pair of work gloves or a wrench. 5 Atmosphere: Not a super retail store. This one is in a strip mall near fast food and nail salons. The inside was clean and quiet while I was there and o felt safe. 5 Staff: Quite professionals. We're very used to running down to the local big box store to get what we need. I always try to make a list before coming up. Was working on a project and needed some unexpected items. Went over to the True value butcher block. Wow am I glad I did. This place has a little of everything. Every possible tool, Gidget, and things you didn't even know you needed and they have. I was thoroughly impressed. My confidence level of doing projects now has greatly increased because I know just 10 minutes away is this outstanding hardware store. The people working there were friendly. I didn't have any questions so I didn't have the opportunity to see how helpful they are. They have a great selection of every possible thing you might be working on in your home. I went for a quick trip and was there for almost an hour because I was looking in familiarizing myself with all the amazing things that they had. If you live in the area, I need something to finish a project rest assure this place will have it. It also made me feel great to know I was supporting local businesses.
