Let me tell you the waiting game at both stores for somebody to help you at the blinds cutting machine is a little longer than necessary. Sarah the ASM was diligent in finding someone to come help me. I already forgot his name but he has been with the company for 13 years and his name is similar to Vincent, but with an O at the end. Beware. Totally incompetent with appliances. I went to Lowes to purchase a new induction range. It took an hour for the staff person Madison and someone else to place the order. They acted like they knew what they were doing. The sales person suggested I buy two different $50 power cords so I could be ready for anything during installation. When the installer showed up they informed me I needed a 220V for the oven so they can't install it. I purchased some discount paint $9 to cover some plywood. Didn't care about the color. Around the lid of the can was a mess of different colors but for what I was doing I didn't care. I had the paint employee shake the paint and I checked out. Next day went to paint. Opened the can and it was a watery solution that looked like soup not paint. A few days later I went back to Lowe's Moreno Valley with my receipt in hand and explained the issue. They would not refund since it was a closeout sale. I explained to Andrew "The Manager" (see photo of him enjoying telling me no) that it was unusable for painting and should not have been sold. He basically said too bad. I argued with him a few minutes without any success and he then basically treated me like a criminal and told another male employee to make me leave the store. This little runt tried to get in my face while I continued to let them know this was a ridiculous implementation of policy. I did ask to speak to another manager and was told no. Finally I just  left, purposely leaving behind the 1 gallon can of soup on the counter since it was worthless. It wasn't about the money. It's the principal. I spend thousands of dollars at Lowe's every year but that will end now. Lowes needs to recruit better employees. read more

So I am not a guy that is handy. When I come to a store like this I'm at the mercy of who's working. Every time I have come to this Lowes there's a gentleman by the name of "Vontise" (spelling). He seems to know everything there is to know in this store. So tonight he didn't know but he turned me over to Mike who was the absolute right guy for what I needed. Mike took his time and explained everything I needed to know. Again remember I am not handy in any way shape or form you do not want me working on your house. On November 7, 2024, we purchased a security door. Approximately, a week later, Lowe's or the door installer sent a professional to measure the house door to ensure the correct measurements were collected to have the new security door created. In early January 2025, two months after the security door was purchased, we contacted Lowe's to find why the security door was taking so long. Lowe's told us that the door manufacturer was closed for two weeks during the holidays, which was the reason the door was taking so long. We were never told the door manufacture was closing for two weeks during the holidays. We spoke with several employees at Lowe's, and we were given different information each time we called. It seemed there was a lack of communication between Lowe's and the door manufacturer. After four months of waiting, we finally were able to schedule an installation appointment on Wednesday, February 5, 2024. The installer arrived at the house to install the security door, but the door didn't fit. The security door we purchased was the simplest door Lowe's offered; It was nothing fancy, which does not explain four months of waiting. This ordeal has been frustrating and unacceptable. We reached the point that we cancelled the entire purchase. I would like to recognize Leiloni Montano, in the security door department. Leiloni was able to give us a couple of discounts towards the security door purchase, but by then it was too late. I want to thank Leiloni very much for all her help. Leilani was the only person who went out of her way to do research, and Leiloni always kept in constant contact with us by phone and emails. I hope Lowe's realizes that Leiloni Montano is an asset to Lowe's and that particular department. Unfortunately, we will no longer shop at Lowe's, which means we will be shopping with their competitor. read more

While I love Lowe's Home Improvement and prefer them over the orange competitor (H.D.), I cannot say the same for their Online Orders and Curbside Pickup. I recently went to the orange store to pick up something that Lowe's didn't carry. After taking the product home, I realized I that the product I purchased from HD was the wrong size and found that -- after actually measuring the space I was working with -- Lowe's carried the correct size! I added the product to my online shopping cart so I can quickly pick up my order. Generally, I love the Curbside Pickup for most stores since I feel it's the safest way to run errands during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once I received my Ready for Pickup notification from Lowe's, I headed to the store. I parked at the correct Curbside Pickup, which says to call their store phone number and then dial 2. The call picked up automatically but I was on hold for so long. In short, it took longer than I wanted to wait for my product. Also, the Lowe's app is not user friendly. While I received my Ready for Pickup notification via email, the app itself showed my order as "In Progress". Lesson learned: Measure first (I know). Despite the online snafu and app, I'm rating them a 3 because I still like Lowe's and the lady (Molly) who was apologetic for the online mishap. read more

First, I would like to thank John. We were building a garden box and had gathered all of the wrong and more expensive materials. John (with the ponytail) took us to the desk in lumber, drew a plan, walked us around the store to gather materials, and helped us compare prices. At each step, he told us how the items went together. As you can see, it came out pretty good. We're building two more. I really think Lowe's should use their most valuable resources - and have "walk-around classes. I went back to him and asked for help and he stated that person was at the key machine! If he sent me to get something that I couldn't find why didn't he offer to get it for me?? I bought a front door in May 2025 from the Lowes on Day St im Moreno, CA. I still have not received said door and mimosa not sure when I will receive it. The Installer was supposed to install the door yesterday but then wasn't able to do to claiming he didn't have the brick molding. Mind you he just picked the door up from Lowes who can provide it. Afterwards, I received a phone call from someone at Lowes stating that she didn't believe the installer was being truthful and she would get back to me when she gets answers. I never heard anything back and I wasn't sure if I even had an appointment at this point so I go to the store. After speaking with the manager, Rodrigo, who offered little help other than excuses and trying to sell me Solar Panels, indicating how little he cared about my current problem. Anyway, we ended on "you're appointment should be on Monday the 11th," and someone should be calling you by tomorrow to confirm. It is now tomorrow 4:08pm and I haven't heard anything. I know why Lowe's is closing stores. Unlike there rival, Home Depot, they have no one waling around to help you. We made a quick stop the other night to get a dryer lent silver hose thing. (sorry I'm not a fix it girl) We went to the major appliance section thinking it would be with the washer and dryers. Wrong!! My husband and I split up to see if we could find it on our own, since there was absolutely no one to be found. After searching to no avail, I finally found an employee who was able to direct me in the right direction. The Lowes on Day Street, Riverside has some of the worst customer service. Five months ago, I purchased a Kobalt lawn mower, blower and trimmer. The blower and trimmer were a combo package. Two weeks ago, the battery for my blower and trimmer stopped working. I took it back to Lowes and Christian, the customer service rep who had a very poor attitude told me I would have to get an RMA number from Kobalt and then they could give me a new set. I called Kobalt, got the RMA and gave it to Christian and I proceeded to go and get the new box off the shelf. When I brought to the register, Christian said, the price has increased over what you bought it for, so you will have to pay the difference of $75. I asked to speak to a manager. And Junior showed up. I explained the situation to him and he also said, yes, you will have to pay the difference, but I can take a little bit off. I told him, that it was not acceptable and that the customer should not have to pay the difference for the same product for this issue where a component stopped working. I called Kobalt back right there in the store and the Kobalt rep talked to Christian and Junior and told them they had to honor the warranty and that they cannot charge me the difference. Christian and Junior both refused to honor what Kobalt told them they needed to do. I decided to take the items to another Lowes as suggested by Kobalt and they would probably exchange it for me without making me pay a price difference. I drove an additional 30 miles to another Lowes, walked up to the customer service desk, explained the situation to them and the ladies said go and get the box off the shelf which I did. They honored the warranty, I did not pay the difference in price and on top of all that, this lady gave me a $75 Lowes gift card for my troubles. I told them what happened at the Day Street store and she was appalled and said they should not have done that. read more

I placed an online order for a small pool chemical dispenser. When my husband picked up the order he thought it looked like it was missing parts (it was) and he asked the girl that was giving him the order. He says she very rudely responded "that's how it comes" he didn't want to press the topic further and told her he just wanted to make sure because he didn't want to have to go back. She said again, "it's not missing anything, that's how it is." As soon as he walked out he called me and sent me pictures because obviously it looks wrong. I sent him the picture from their website and he went back inside. No apology, not even the courtesy of let us grab another one for you. He was told to go "down there" and pick another one so they could exchange it. When he said he didn't know where down there was (hello online order) she sighed!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?? He told her if she didn't want to help him to get someone who would. At this pint her supervisor comes and says "Sir, they're in such and such area, if you could please to grab one while we process the exchange" They didn't even have anymore but that's besides the point. DO NOT PURCHASE SERVICES HERE. We utilized the Black Friday deal in 2021 to purchase 6 interior doors, a new fence and the installation for all items. It is now February 2023 and we are still fighting with Joe Ball and the Millworks Dept to get the credit we were promised on so many occasions. I have email correspondence with corporate, 2 email threads work Holly Cambric (an old associate who was the only helpful person we've worked with) and multiple text messages to Joe that were left on read. We spent almost 2 years I'm total to get the interior doors done because they kept coming in wrong (measurements, style, etc..) I went in person and spoke to Rodrigo to get everything squared away, I explained to him that I was an army veteran and came to lowes to support a veteran owned business. TWICE he thanked me for being a "army wife" and asked me to extend his thanks to my husband for his service. Our fence installation was almost going to be wrong until we begged the installers to remove the old wooden gate that Joe "forgot" to put in the contract. Joe Ball has been ducking and dodging my family for over 2 years now for the $950 credit he PROMISED us. Unless youre ok with dealing with many mistakes, empty promises and pure sexism, do NOT use the Millworks Dept for services. I am going to attach all email correspondence to show we have a whole file with Lowes corporate and nothing has been done to help the damage that they have caused to us. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes maybe even closer to 5 minutes.I'd use curbside again . We purchased a washer and dryer for delivery. Was told I'd receive a call the day before delivery...never happened. Everyone knows how much fun it is to wait around all day without a delivery window. When I called customer service (at the store) the day of, the agent seemed too busy to care about the issue, blaming it on my salesperson. She gave me my window and when I began asking how and why something like this happened, she almost cut me off to hang-up. I usually choose Lowe's over Home Depot for major purchases, as the stores are clean and organized, and the employees are usually kind. Customer service these days make me want to shop online more and more. So I shopped for a corded work lamp online. Ordered it on 2/8/25, and paid with my credit card. On 2/14/25 I get an email from the credit card company asking me to verify some credit charges on my card. Three charges were not mine. They cancelled my card to make sure no one else used it fraudulently. On 2/16/25 Lowe's sent me a text message stating my payment failed and I had to take care of the matter within three days or they will cancel my order. I right away went to Lowe's and I offered to pay cash for the order. Jaira, a wonderful lady, told me she would put a note with my order and I could pay on the day I pick up the lamp. She said my order would not be cancelled. The next day, I received another text from Lowe's telling me to take care of the matter or they would cancel my order. I called Lowe's customer service, and spoke to a "Marlene"(?). I explained myself all over again. I was told the order will have to be cancelled. I decided after talking to Marlene to go back to Lowe's and this time I spoke to Amanda. She confirmed, my order was cancelled. She agreed I had to order the item online again. I found the same item at Home Depot for $7.00 less so I got the lamp from HD. It looked like mother nature was trying to save me some money. This morning I received a call from Amanda, but I missed it since I was working in the garden. I called back, but an answering machine turned on without an option for me to leave a message. Amanda called again in the afternoon to tell me the lamp I ordered, which was "cancelled", arrived. I told her I found the lamp at HD, but I truly appreciated her tenacity to try to reach me before they put the lamp on the shelf to sell it. This online shopping episode was so convoluted, but throughout it all, every single person I spoke with at Lowe's was so helpful and pleasant that I did not feel frustrated. Five star for the wonderful customer service despite all the instances of miscommunications ("It will not be cancelled", "It has to be cancelled", "It was cancelled"). It was an exercise in learning to be patient. read more
