This home improvement store has appliances, tools, parts, and other products for the home. The aisles are clearly labeled with large signs to quickly find the section of products you are looking for. I stopped by to pick up a part I needed instead of ordering it through Amazon. And I quickly found what I needed. It made more sense to come here so I can see the product in-person versus online. Checking out was a little hard to find as it didn't have a large sign hanging over the area - unless I missed it. The employee rang me up through the "Self-Service" machines. She was trying to get me to sign up for their HD credit card. They also have activities for kids - I'm not sure if fits a monthly or weekly thing. I thought that was pretty neat. Absolutely terrible experience. I was in this store for over an hour and a half, and it honestly felt like a scavenger hunt just to get help. I asked about five different employees for assistance. One person tried to help but didn't really have the information I needed. Another went all the way to aisle 15 to grab a nail because he wasn't sure what I was asking about. The woman I spoke to next didn't seem to know much at all, and one girl couldn't even tell me which battery was a 9-volt. She asked, "Is this it?" and I said, "I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking you." It's really hard to find anyone who's available or knowledgeable, and that's disappointing. Even when I asked the manager for help, she just pointed down the aisle and said it was "somewhere on aisle 45." I expected a little more effort, maybe someone walking me to the item or at least showing genuine interest in helping. The last employee I spoke to mentioned he was about to go on lunch in ten minutes, which didn't exactly make me feel like a priority. Overall, the customer service experience really needs improvement. I hope management invests in better training and staffing so customers don't leave feeling this frustrated. read more

She patiently scoured all the books they had and went online until she found one she felt was the closest match. It was a great match! Now our cafe room looks amazing thanks to the color she found. After 20 minutes I seen a worker from the bath area, and ask him to help me or get someone that could. He said he would call someone because this wasn't his area. They made a huge mistake with my flooring and instead of admitting what they did, they just lied and tried to cover it up. It cost me almost $4000 to correct the problem. I had my entire house measured for new vinyl flooring. We don't live there yet so we weren't there for the install. When we moved in, the upstairs was not done! Only the upstairs hallway. We called the installers and they said they were told not to do the bedrooms! We paid for the whole house!!!! We bought flooring for the whole house!!!! The receipt is written in such a way that it doesn't itemize which rooms will be done so I have no way to prove that I was told I was getting my whole house done! They are denying it!! I already paid for this job and they will not refund me for the rooms not done!!! I had to hire some day laborers to finish the job because I couldn't afford to use a real flooring company since Home Depot scammed me out of half of the agreed upon job! Don't buy appliances from Home Depot, you only have 48 hours to return items. We received a brand new refrigerator and we noticed after a few days it wasn't getting our food cold. We called to return it and get a new one replaced and they refused. It's been 2 weeks and we still don't have the new one repaired yet. They are waiting for 2 parts. Went to mill works and saw a few customers already waiting. One told me she was waiting for 30 minutes. I waited 45 minutes, multiple overhead pages for an associate by passing employees.....and nothing. I went to the pro desk where after requesting for a manager for 20minutes he shows up. Advises me the mill works employee was "on lunch" . Been going here for years for all kinds of different jobs and have most recently been expanding my garden and this location always has what I need. I've gone to other Home Depots, but they are not all created equal. I find the Moreno Valley location has a better variety of plants and pots, as well as the soil I like to use. Also, we were looking for a specific size and color of rock for one of our planters and they were the only location that had it in stock and as many bags as we needed.
