    Seafood ramen.

I wanted to like this place. I gave it two chances and it's just awful. I ordered seafood ramen. They gave me 4 shrimps total. It's supposed to be to come with veggies. I asked for no carrots and I guess that meant no veggies. Apparently you can't take away one veggie if you do that means no vegetables. I added a snow drive leg cluster and it had no meat in it. This was over a $25 meal and this is what I got. I want my money back and will not be eating here again. If you look closely you will see that I had to cut the shrimp up to add meat to this poor meal and it's still not enough.

I don't even know where to begin! Starting from the warm greeting from Angie, the server that was so amazing as she greeted with a warm smile me and went over the menu with me. This place just opened no more than a month ago and had to take the time to show them love and support cause i need them in my life Loll Their Stir Fried Rice was perfect! As a New Yorker you know what it means to find good food! Flavorful and Large portion size. I got a little be of everything cause I was so undeceive. Their Wings, Calamari and Seafood Shrimp Boil was all on point! It was like food Porn in my mouth. She gave me a complimentary drink and took a shot of rice wine with me... I'm so excited I found them.. All my favorite foods in one spot and everything was on point...I'll Be back and told them they'll probably see me weekly... Cute ambiance and a mini bar, i can't wait to share this place with friends and family... Supporting a Local Family Business for sure...just take my money pls, so worth it

my fiancé and i completely f****d this up. they have basic sauce and heat options but they put their all into the flavoring. if you love garlic it's definitely the place for you!! the lady in the front had been here for years, she always gets the order correct amd is always super friendly. the place is super small but always clean. an honest family owned restaurant that serves amazing food.

What an amazing evening, beautifully curated with so many thoughtful details. Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

It was pretty good but certainly not worth the titular pretty penny price--and we didn't even get…read morethe recommended 8 dishes, which is, like, the entire menu. To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.

This location is a much nicer facility and in a better area than the one in Tolleson. The menu is consistent too, which made it easy for us to order our favorites. I hope you get Gigi as your server as she is very pleasant, friendly and checks on you regularly. However, the two (2) greeters at the hostess stand are a different story. It is obvious neither of them like their jobs and just come in to punch a clock. It would be nice if they at least made eye contact with the customers before they have you follow them to the table they have picked out for you. Smile? . . . that's out of the question, too. We determined by the expressions on their faces their parents probably told them since they graduated from high school they aren't going to sit around the house doing nothing all day so this must the the place they applied to.

We are fans of the local competitor and wanted to see how this one compared. TLDR: the other one is better! We each ordered the Famous Low Country Boil - mine with lemon pepper sauce and my daughter with the 88 Special, a combo of all the sauces. She went with no spice and I went with mild. We also ordered a bowl of rice. We did enjoy what we had but it seemed heavier than what we are used to. We were not big fans of the sausage mixed in and our service was fine, but not amazing. We were also disappointed that there were not scissors offered to help get the meat out of the crab / lobster - we really had to work for it! On a positive note, we did make good use of the wet wipes that were given to us as well as our bibs and gloves. It is quite a messy meal and note that I learned the hard way: don't wear white if you're planning on ordering any kind of seafood boil! Pricing is similar to the competitor. Ambiance is chill but not as fun. I would not rush back, but I also would return with reasonable expectations.

The sandwich had a white fish breaded and fried. The patty was decent without being thick or oily. Good amount of tartar sauce spread on it as well. If the sandwich was any bigger then work afterwards wouldn't have been fun. Oh, also got a delicious dirty martini to pair with the food. Gin served down and it was made to perfection! Including the drink and an $8 tip the total for lunch was $48. Which isn't horrible. Been craving oysters recently so probably will be back for dinner and get an appetizer and dessert too. Good service, fresh seafood, and clean restaurant. I'll be back!
