I called on a Sunday during the pandemic after calling and getting quotes from 2 other plumbing companies. Not only were Hard Hat's rates the most reasonable, but they were the only ones that were able to come out same day (within 1 & 1/2 hours of calling in fact). We had a drainage complication in our kitchen and two plumbers couldn't resolve the issue. Third time is the charm. Raffi messaged back after I had sent in a quote request - I spoke with him the following morning and he was able to send out his next available guy (he said after 4PM, the Edwardo came at 4). I've used Hard Hat plumbing Two more times since I wrote my last review, and I love them more and more each time. For the last two plumbing issues, Carlos has come out. He is so professional, so sweet, and doesn't put a band aid on the issue, he fixes them for good. Carlos shows up when he says he's gonna be there and he also cleans up after he's done. It's little things like that that speaks volumes to me. Had an emergency clog in the main line from flushing some food (big mistake). Called these guys and they came out within an hour and had it uncloged shortly after. The technician Michael did a great job and explained everything as he went. Very professional. Asked if he should remove shoes before coming in. He let me know that it was the main line after seeing debris in the shower that I had missed. He also told me if he could not unclog they would do a free camera inspection. I own an older home in Los Angeles. Over the past 2 years I've used this company a number of times and have always been pleased with the professionalism, the cost and the quality of the work from the first phone call to the end of the job. They are my one and only plumber from now on. This is a top of the line company. About 2 years ago I had my sewer line replaced which I knew had been going bad for many years and they confirmed it. Because of the reasonable price they quoted I went ahead and did it. They did an excellent job, they came on time, cleaned up before leaving, and they even sent me pictures because I couldn't be there during the day. My experience with this project was very good, which was a pleasant surprise. Since then I've had them replace my water service line from the house to the meter, repipe my house completely, and replace my water heater. It was a big project and I was nervous but I knew it needed to be done. I received 2 other estimates that were much much higher then theirs. The entire job was done on time, as estimated, and with an awesome bunch of guys. Edwardo was the top guy and he was so easy to work with but I must say they all worked very hard to get the job done. I am absolutely impressed by this company which many others will tell you is not easy to do. Ralph your company is top of the line and I appreciate you and how well it is run from top down. Had a great experience with Francisco who I requested for a quote on the clogged drain running from the house to the sewer system on the street. Told him another plumber had already snaked the drain that morning and used their camera to locate the partial clog, with the recommendation to dig out the drain and replace a portion where roots had entered. Francisco was willing to scope the drainage pipe, too, just to verify location of the clog, which job normally costs $250, but offered it for free, so he could validate the type of work needed to be done. He then quoted a very reasonable price. Although we decided to defer the job, since the drain was now partially unclogged, I will certainly keep him in mind when we do decide to go ahead with it. I found Francisco to be a friendly, honest person great to deal with. read more

Okay sooo...my babysitter called me at work hysterical because the toilet was overflowing. I started panicking too because we had just redone our bathroom floors and didn't want it to have water damage. My co worker recommended her plumber, Ralph, who I called in a crazy panic mode and he rushed it to my house to fix the problem. He was so professional and nice and even called me after he fixed the toilet to touch base with me. I'm in an older home, and the main cleanout gets clogged with roots and grasses every two years, like clockwork. We woke up on a Saturday morning to find all our drains stopped up. Most plumbers weren't available on weekends, so we gave Hard Hat a call, and they sent someone over within just a couple hours. These guys are pros. CALL RALPH FIRST! You will never want or need another plumber again. We have had problems with our sewer line from the house to the street for months. We have had several different companies out to unplug the line and to give is a bid on a repair.Their cleanout failed in weeks- Ralph and his men from Hard Hat could not have done a better job. They scoped and showed the video of the bad line. We had had it rooted 2 weeks earlier by New Generation. There were many roots still in the line after they finished. Hard Hat cleaned and rooted the line proberly. Gave us a good bid with a long warranty and repaired it in 2 days. They were kind, clean and respectful . They send us a video of the new line and the connection to the street. They also looked at some other small problems inside and are going to be fixing them as well. Their prices were the lowest, but more than that, they were so kind and concerned. Other plumbers were hustling and way overpriced and rude when we said we would have to think about the project. Called these guys after my "go to" plumber gave me a ridiculous rate for a water heater replacement on one of my rental properties.
