This is the 21st Hard Rock Cafe I have been to and while it had some of the slowest service I've experienced, it was overall a great visit. The location is great, within easy walking distance of the cruise ship port and in the heart of the tourist district. It is a super unique looking building compared to most modern Hard Rocks, it really fits in with the Key West vibe! There is also indoor and outdoor seating depending on the weather. It's an older Hard Rock location so it does have a decent amount of memorabilia around although little which tie into its location. The rock Shop is outside and an outdoor location next to the bar which is quite strange. It seemed very limited in merchandise. Food was great! The local legendary burger had goat cheese, bacon, pineapple and a few other "tropical" things. The salads were good as well and service was very nice, but also a bit slow. We found this strange as there was only one other party inside at the time so there was no explanation for the slow service. I had a hurricane which was small, mostly juice and not much alcohol so I definitely wasn't worth ordering. We did get the jumbo sampler which was fairly standard and decent quality and serving. My favorite part was the egg rolls as it had a very interesting blend of ingredients for the filling. I'm honestly not a big fan of Hard Rock Cafe. I like more local flavors, but Hard Rock has definitely tried to become a local place at this location. It's situated in a beautiful old home on Duvall Street that has been renovated to a restaurant. Also, there is a large patio out front for additional dining. The inside is still adorned with all the rock n' roll memorabilia, but they didn't lose the key west feel. The place feels very Key West. The food, however, is still the Hard Rock. If you are looking for a classic American burger, then this is definitely a go to location. My wife was definitely craving a burger, so we went. The food quality was very good overall. Everyone loved their burger, and the veggies on the burger were very fresh! Service was very good. We had a lady named Ines as our server, and she was fantastic and very good with the kids. The reason this place gets a 5 star is this is the first place we have been that actually helped families with young children. I have learned that Key West in general is not very kid friendly. Most restaurants do not even have a kids menu or changing tables in the bathrooms. My wife and I very much appreciated this location being prepared for our kids! I'm still not much of a Hard Rock fan, but I will definitely plan on going back to this place if I come back to Key West again on family vacation! read more

As a family of seven, each with a different menu item (various burgers, chicken tenders, salad) and even a couple appetizers, it was decided that the best items overall were the French fries, onion rings, and bang shrimp. My youngest child would not finish the chicken tenders, and when I tasted them, I knew why ... very thin, over breaded, and way over fried; they were not edible. The high priced burgers were simply flavorless. The only flavor they had was whatever toppings we chose. It seems management at this restaurant expects their patrons to arrive at least half drunk, not caring about the actual taste of the food. They had a birthday card signed by the staff with a chocolate guitar waiting on our table. Initially, the waiter and training waitress were great. We ordered our food and then we didn't see them again for refills. Our food arrived via the kitchen staff. The food was great. We flagged down our waiter. Finally got drink refills. Our burgers were fantastic. I would give this a better star rating if the waiter had ever come back to refill our drinks.
