My husband went there today to have lunch and he was told that they would be closing at 2pm when clearly they are supposed to be open until 10 according to their posted hours. This is not the first time that this has happened, on multiple occasions we have gone there and no-one answers at the drive thru and no-one is willing to take our order inside as well. This was our last time trying, we will not be returning. There are plenty of other fast food places to enjoy that actually want our money so we will go there from now on. read more

First of all ordered BIG roast beef sandwich and was told they were out of roast beef. Ordered Big Hot Ham N cheese (2) chicken tenders and 3 onion rings and a milkshake. Sat in line for 25 minutes before getting to the window and then told to pull up because they were waiting on tenders. Meanwhile milkshake melting and other food cold. After waiting for an additional 20 minutes the rest of my food is delivered which is what I was hoping for, nope only received one onion ring. Had to drive back to speaker and I told her I was pulling to the side because I wasn't waiting in a line that hadn't moved since I started the process. After another 10 minutes guy comes out and says there was error with my card so he needed to run it again. I gave my card and checked my account and it was already pending in my account. Will be watching for double charge. So I get the food home and the 5 piece tenders only had 4 and these things aren't cheap. Paid for Big hot n ham and got a tiny one. The onion rings only had 4-5 in each order and it's one size at like $2.76 each. the sandwiches had 1/2 the amount of ham and all the bread was broken. $32 later! read more

We just had the worst customer service in the drive through. We pulled up to the speaker, they immediately said rudely that they were out of something. we asked what the alternatives were and they responded with something rude and sarcastic. We said that was okay we decided not to order and they yelled BYEEE! Couldn't tell by the voice if it was a girl or boy but they definitely were a smart a** and acted annoyed that we simply came to purchase something from your restaurant. Before I had the chance to say anything a voice came over the intercom saying they were closed. The were closed waiting for someone else to show up for work. That is the exact same thing that happened the other time I was turned away. This staff will run this restaurant into the ground. Is there no management at this place?? First I ordered only the 1/4 lbs thick burger, but asked if they served side salads in their combos. As I didn't see that option on the menu. She said they did, so I said, great I'll do the 1/4lbs thick burger..no bun or ketchup...with a side salad. My boyfriend placed his order and we were given one cup. He asked me didn't you order the combo? I said I did but she probably misunderstood me,it's fine. He went back up and asked for a cup. We sat down. Ok Food comes out pretty quick, and I open my burger. Bun and ketchup. So I took the burger back to the counter and I said, I asked for the #8 with no bun or ketchup. They apologized and said they'd bring it back out to me. I sat back down and enjoyed my salad. It was good for fast food. Bring out burger #2. It literally was a burger Patty wrapped in lettuce. Again. All I said.. no bun. No ketchup. Frustrated... I trotted myself back to the counter and said... Wrong. This is a burger Patty wrapped in lettuce.. which that's fine, but I wanted all the other toppings just no bun or ketchup. I kid you not, I had to repeat myself several more times because they didn't understand. The manager said oh I thought you wanted low carb.. I said I do..but that doesn't mean bland!!! So I sat back down and waited for my burger..attempt #3... It came out... In a bowl .. it wasn't 1/4lbs... Which I initially ordered... It was a small cheeseburger... With unmelted cheese, onion, mustard and burger. No lettuce, tomato ... No other additional toppings this sandwich comes with... I was incredibly frustrated. What do they not understand.. when a person asks for No Bun,No Ketchup...that confuses the hell out of the burger makers..and give you absolutely nothing that you asked for?? Highly dissatisfied. Not the cleanest but clean enough to eat in. Items are decently priced. Not anything special here. Pop machine gave out semi carbonated beverages. Although the food was fresh and tasted good. It all taste similar to other fast food restaurants. Friendly workers, but noisy environment to eat in. Fries by far the best thing I had. Shake wasn't mixed thoroughly. read more

I was told that despite being scheduled to open at 6 AM that they did not open until 7. over the last year you never know when they will be open for breakfast or if they will even respond to you. I ordered food for my son and I. 2 piece tender and fries with a sprite for my son and a chicken and waffle combo meal for myself. I have never in my life made a bad review for any establishment until now. The first error was that they didn't give me my drink - no big deal I just went around and told them the error and waited in the drive thru till it was my turn. As I inspect my food I noticed that my chicken and waffle Sandwich looked dry. And it was due to the fact they didn't put any of the maple butter sauce on either side. I respectfully bring it to there attention and instead of either offering me a cup on the side or making a new sandwich staff gets a manager and the manager comes back to say there is no sauce that comes on it and looks at me as if I'm confused or making up items on the menu. Mind you.. I wouldn't dare order a sandwich on a menu that is just chicken and bread- I knew it came with a maple butter sauce that I wanted to try which is the main reason I ordered the sandwich. Just to be sure I wasn't tripping I went to the site where the sandwich was advertised and low and behold it is described as such "A tender all-white meat chicken breast, battered and breaded in our crispy coating, served on a warm Belgian waffle and topped with maple butter sauce." I now have no desire to Eat what I just paid for not only because it's missing the sauce but because staff literally looked at me as if I was dumb for 2 minutes for asking about an item that was missing from my sandwhich. Ive worked in the food environment before so mistakes happen I get it. But simply apologizing for your mistake, saying you don't have the item in stock or offering A refund or another item would have been more appropriate that looking at me dumb for reading a menu correctly and asking about the item I ordered that was not represented as it is on the menu. Now I lose out on money and a meal. Which was not my intentions for lunch today. We live in Michigan city and this was our first time trying this Hardee's. Drive thru line took a bit and when we got home with our food, our order was forgetting somethings. I called, talked to Jesse, and They made it right! Went back, picked up our hot fresh food, and all was good people make mistakes.. it's how you handle it that's important! Food was good, service was good, restaurant was clean but they had a meeting between management and employees in the middle of the dinning room. Which was fine until the manger started talking about how the employees came in smelling like "trees" and how they are unable to do their jobs. Stating she doesn't care what you do before work but don't come in smelling like "trees". Trees =Marijuana. Remind you this is in front of customers and young children. I understand it's fast food and cooked in grease but my burger was practically mushy and soggy from the grease along with my fries!
