The manager named Eric was racist and extremely unprofessional after they messed up our order, an order we triple checked with them to ensure they got it right before we paid. instead of acknowledging a mistake HIS team made he tried to suggest that we were lying and insinuated that we were trying to get food for free. He humiliated us in a room full of patrons who were waiting in line while he was power tripping over fries. No apologies , no acknowledgement of mistake made by his team, poor leadership skills and frankly rude! Employees are absolutely lost and uncoordinated. It took us about 10 minutes to place a small order due to the employee not paying attention whilst we were ordering, resulting in food being missing from our order. I went to this Culver's drive up to place my order . I was having trouble hearing the girl and after several times she literally yelled into the speaker. She clearly was aggravated and got very rude. I was questioning the order and wanted to make sure my order was correct. i got my order which was supposed to be to a Crispy Chicken sandwich but got the spicy one. The chicken was fatty, dry and awful and ended up the garbage. The rest of my order was fine, the customer service not so much. I've read other reviews from this Culver's that had the same issues with their employees. Obviously this has not been addressed very well. That girl needs to go back to training on how to treat a customer. I am very hesitant to go back. read more

Heard from a neighbor in the area that this location had gone downhill, but we still decided to swing by and see for ourselves since we love Culvers. One of the things we heard is that the burgers got smaller...and that proved to be true. They were much smaller! Before, the burger used to come out of the outsides of the bun, and now it was very much inside the bun. So much so, that there was too much bun! You can't go wrong with Culver's anywhere you see them. Great fresh products (most of the time) and I've only been disappointed with a pork tenderloin sandwich I once had in the past. They're also always clean and efficient and have friendly and well trained staff. This location is no different. The staff may be unfriendly but they sure are bad at their jobs. 3 times in a row we didn't get what we ordered. Probably our last visit because in addition to the above, the burgers have shrunk. Never been to a Culver's before this trip but man was it bumpin! We came at a perfect time bc as soon as we stepped inside a fricken Tour bus came rollin up and dropped off atleast 40 people! What kinda tour this was, I had no idea. But at that moment I knew I was at the right place at the right time. The Staff.. all young. They got the job done, no more no less. I do commend them for being everywhere! A lot of them are dropping orders in the Dining room, running orders outside and handling the drive thru. The food was tasty, I wish the bun for the Butterburger was more fresh and the patty was hotter. The concrete mixer was terrific, definitely couldn't finish it. This was my first Culver's experience and meh it was pretty mediocre. Drive thru was a nightmare and we waited almost 15 min for food. I tried going inside to ask for sauce and had to abort because that was a hot mess too. Got the fish sandwich with extra tarter and it came barely with any. For over $7 for this sandwich alone it tasted no better than what you'd get at Wendy's or Burger King, based on portion and taste. Fries were mid, the only saving grace was the culver's sauce for dipping. Also got their seasonal strawberry salad that came with bluberries (barely any), blue cheese (literally one piece) and chicken (overcooked). Paying $21 and change for a combo meal and salad for the lack of quality food was definitely a hard miss. I was so dissatisfied that don't even want to come back and try their burgers. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received at a Culver's. I waited in line for 10 minutes for one person to place her order and then run out to the parking lot to get cash to pay. When I finally got to the register, the cashier said he was going to go home, and pointed me to another line. When I got to the front of the second line, the second cashier seemed annoyed to be there. When I got my burger, it wasn't very warm. Never experienced anything like this at many other Culver's I have visited. Replacing the management would be good start. read more

I guess the problem I have with Culver's is that once you get past its polite and efficient crews who greet you before you're completely inside the doors, and that get your food over to you promptly and pleasantly while you wait at a table or booth in a clean quasi-country environ, is that the food is completely and mindlessly mediocre. It's like a magic trick. The magician makes small talk and produces graceful flourishes with his hands and tries to get you to look at his insanely attractive assistant, and those things are very nice, but in the end the rabbit is still dead. But the magician is hoping you won't notice that part of the trick. We were on our way to Chicago to see a musical artist whom we adore give two shows, and hungry, we took a Michigan City exit off of I-94 and stopped at the first thing we saw. Okay, I said to myself, trying to rationale my decision, at least we've never gotten dreadfully ill eating at a Culver's. So we stopped. I've noticed when we travel from Point A to Point B and we're covering hundreds of miles in a day, and we get hungry, we'll stop anywhere there is something convenient. Even if there is an amazing restaurant nearby if we only took just five more minutes to drive there, the convenient choice will always win out. So we each ordered double cheeseburger combos, which gave us fries and sodas. The employees beamed at us with their usual Stepford wives pleasantness. The food arrived promptly. The burgers and fries were hot. The sodas were icy cold. And the burgers and fries had all of the flavor that corrugated cardboard has. About the burgers, we decided that cardboard with catsup and onions beats out cardboard with lettuce only. I eat fries with catsup while my girl prefers her fries with a good malt vinegar, and of course no one has any malt vinegar no matter how many times she has asked in her lifetime. Surprisingly good fast food restaurant. They had a nice variety of food, all the usual stuff you would expect at a hamburger restaurant. I had the Colby Jack Pub Burger which had a nice fluffy bun and not the kind that McDonalds serve which have employees sitting on the bun before they serve it to you. I also had the cheese curds which was a nice change up from getting fries like I normally would. They cooked after you order it and they deliver it to your table which is nice. Their coffee was quite good as well here. This location has a pretty big restaurant. It was clean and so were the restrooms. The employees were really nice, they even offered me to get a refill before we left. I'm not a big fan of fast food but I will definitely consider Culver's again read more

So after MUCH demand from my family telling me that Culvers is the best and that they have this thing called a butter burger I gave in when I was back home this past weekend. I was very surprised to find that it is a fastfood/dining room style of eating. Kinda like Pondarosa. They take your order and they they give you a number then when it is ready they bring the food to you. I ordered a double butterburger with everything. I got the meal which came with a drink and crinkle cut fries. (but they give you tons of options such as cheese curds if you don't want fries.) I got a root beer to drink it was a brand I had never had before and it was darn delise. The food came to us within 5 minutes. Even though the place was almost packed. Burger was just as good as in-n-out burger. fries where crispy and hot so very good, not over salted. For dessert they have frozen custard. It was SO good. I got the turtle sundae small and it was still large enough. The dessert menu is so big it was hard to decide. I just wish I had a culvers out here. Oh and best part $6.50 for my meal before the dessert. How can you beat that price for fresh made burgers? read more
