This Harris Teeter has only been open for a few months so I love the newness and cleanliness of it. It's a little pricey but I found that they carry some things that i don't see in some other grocery stores. It may be comparable to Safeway or Wegmans. The only thing that kind of sucks about this store (and probably every other store in MD), is that they don't sell alcohol. I visited one of their locations in Alexandria, VA and I loved being able to pick up a bottle of wine or other libations with my groceries. Make sure to sign up for the VIC program and the emails because sometimes they do have good sales on particular items. I personally love their bakery department and seafood department. If you order shrimp or crab legs, they can steam them for you. This location contains a Starbucks which is cool. I always end up here later in the evening when the Starbucks is closed. You can also order your groceries online and they have this drive thru to pick them up. When I'm not using self checkout, the cashiers are always friendly and exhibit good customer service. read more

Store is clean and shelves were stocked but what good does that do if no one is working the cashiers?? The lines were wrapped around, this store made Wal-Mart look quick and efficient. Need to hire more cashiers, I won't go back if I have to wait over 20 minutes to check out. read more

I don't normally shop here because they are pretty pricey but they had a sale on their 8 piece fried or baked chicken buckets. I provide food for the needy and thought that would be a great option since the buckets were only $4.99. I bought 19 buckets but I had to try a piece before I served them and the chicken was very good. It was crispy and moist and a big hit at the outreach so hopefully they will run their sale again soon. read more

What an amazing shopping experience! From the person who thoroughly wiped my cart with disinfectant, the deli person and then the cashier; this store has superior customer service than any other grocery store in the area. The prices are also very comparable with the local Walmart and Aldi. The store was clean and I found everything I needed! Would highly recommend this grocery store for those of you that live in the Pasadena/Severna Park area. read more

From my experience when its new, people come and flock together. I like that this is new. I found lobster roll at $7.99 that's quite a deal.

I love Harris Teeter, just not this one. I am highly disappointed. I have come to expect more from Harris Teeter than this particular location can give. As one singular example, try to get fresh in-store made tuna salad. Nuff said. What they do well they do very well but they don't do too many things very well at the store. Sorely disappointed. We stopped here to pick up some salads on the way to taking guests for a day sail. Kept it on ice in our cooler. When we were nicely anchored for lunch we opened the shrimp salad and crunchy veggie salad to go with a couple of other things. The shrimp salad was bad...tangy to the point we were afraid to eat it and the crunchy veggie salad was rancid! A refund does not fix this issue. I hope the health department gives this store closer scrutiny. We will not go back. read more

I live this store but something funny goes on when I buy swordfish steaks. The sign in the fresh fish case says $8.99 lb. I get just over a pound and it rings up at $11.99 lb. I question it and the man says "it will change to $8.99 when you use evic." Huh? When I check out it DOES NOT change the price. The manager? Comes over and rerings it as $8.99. So, if I didn't complain (or notice), they would have ended up as bait or switch. This happened before but the fish guy made the change -- and then removed the $8.99 sign. Went to Harris Teeter this morning, and there is one person working in the checkout line and he has a problem customer. Four out of the five self-serve registers are saying help is on the way. No or little help is on the way. Staff admitted that nobody was scheduled. It wasn't like somebody failed to show up.The problem with this Harris Teeter is this is not the exception. I've waited (im)patiently for this store to open and finally it has. I'm a big fan of Harris Teeter. I usually frequent the Ellicott City & Baltimore locations. Their customer service is second to none and this location did not disappoint. It had started to rain heavily as I was leaving. They had employees with umbrellas walking customers to their cars as well as loading the bags of groceries. I was impressed! The store is large, bright, and has lots to offer. They have a large section of prepared foods, pizza, sushi, Asian, sandwich, and salad bar. Don't forget to sign up for eVic you'll get special savings & free items on Saturdays, I think they just extended it to Sunday too. Don't worry if they run out of the sale items. They will give you a substitute or a rain check if you prefer. They have a few grand opening specials; get there soon! read more

It's a grocery store. It is nothing that special. Sushi was better than most grocery store offerings. The granola bar was stale - when things like granola and sesame sticks are exposed to air they get stale. Avoid those. read more

While the traffic getting in and out of the shopping center can be dicey there at Route 2, that's not the store's fault! Once inside, it's kept very clean and organized. I like their produce section; I've not had to worry about picking up moldy berries or overripe apples. They have a great selection in produce. Love the trail mix bar. This is great if you want to control your trail mix content (if you're on keto or clean diets). The sushi bar is great: this was a big surprise. Good selection and very tasty. It scratches my roll itch when I'm not able to get to my favorite restaurant. Good selection and a lot of diversity. I find some prices a little higher on things than other places, not as much selection in the health/beauty section, and the checkouts are a little bit to get used to - it's not exactly clear on getting in lines. I failed to mention, the awesome bread/bakery. It's not expansive, but the breads are very good. (Try jalapeño cheese if they have it!) read more

Great new store in severna park! The prepared food section is great as it is in all HT stores. I was super impressed with the store lay out and size. The staff was super friendly and even offered to help me to my car. The only negative was how crowded the store was it took me a while to find parking and it is one of the few stores open in the center! read more
