I dig this place! Not my first time here, and definitely not my last. I just really wanted some snacks, and it was a cheat day so I went with comfort food. Pretzel sticks were delicious! Cheese and bacon fries were pretty rich- so great for sharing. So good! The honey mustard that came with the pretzels was great with the fries as well! Living just down Sunbury Rd I've been here a lot over the past decade. They've had ups and downs in food quality but they've made a noticable sustained improvement over the last couple years. Henny chicken has been one thing that has and still remains consistently great, if a little too greasy (let it drain longer out of the fryer). The sandwiches, wraps and bowls are all solid but the stars of the show are their wings. Big and meaty, perfectly cooked, lots of sauce choices of which tonight I found my new favorite...Hot Lemon Pepper. OMG these are so good! Columbus is always a busy place when it comes to restaurants. We decided to eat here after getting off the road from traveling from PA. It's easy to get to right off the interstate but a busy intersection. We were seated right away and our server was very attentive and recommended items that she had eaten. She even told us which ones were not as popular which was nice. The beer is cold on tap and the food came out hot and fresh. Use to be a very loyal customer and came here for years. My parents walked in where a fat dude who they believed to move Mat . He denied them entry because someone smell like pot . Both my parents have medical cards for health reason such as heart issues and epilepsy. He told them that they couldn't serve them because of it . Great place to eat! Very clean, large indoor and outdoor seating area. We were seated quickly even with them being very busy. Our waitress was great, Avery nice young lady that checked on us numerous times. As an appetizer we had the cheese curds which come with a side of marinara. I had the bacon barbecue burger. This was my first time eating at this location we picked here for our team outing luncheon. The place also has a nice outside patio, but we chose to eat inside. The place was bigger that what I had imagined plenty of seating and TVs. The service was excellent considering we had a decent side party our waitress was very attentive and polite. The food was priced reasonable and was prepared very well. I had the bbq bacon burger which was very delicious. They also have live bands that play in the summer which is nice I don't know what days. Since I was nearby I stopped in to see if anything has changed. Still a nice upgrade from Gordy's. Service was good mid-day, mid-week. I went with the rib and wing combo. The wings were again very good- probably my favorite of the big chains. I had Thai chili, which was tasty but not as spicy as I'd hoped; and honey mustard, which was great. The ribs were awful. I should have known better than to order at a non-BBQ place, but I had to try them. Probably boiled- no flavor in the meat. Not even super tender. The sauce was generic. I got chipotle BBQ, and there was a little heat, but overall it could have come from a Kraft bottle. Subbed the Happy Grains as a side instead of fries. Not appetizing in appearance, but actually pretty tasty, and hopefully healthy enough to offset the rest of my meal. I'll be back. We have been coming to this location for more than 30 years whicht during that time has been many different names and owners. We remember The Scoreboard as one of the first. All of the places since then have had wings as an offering and other bar fare. The places has also long had a nice outdoor entertainment area featuring lots of local and area bands. The last owner just opened the place and didn't put much effort into the inside. The place now looks newer ,remodeled and up to date. We did come to tonight. specifically for the wings. We will probably go back again and try other things and hopefully see a few bands this summer. I use to be, and perhaps still am Columbus' foremost expert on Buffalo wings. Even though I gave up the Columbuswings.com website I still enjoy a good wing. We didn't know that the order we were about to place was tonight's special. Being a weekday workday we didn't want ant alcohol or softdrinks with caffeine or sugar. We ordered water. The waitress came back and told us in order to get the special we had to order drinks. My first reaction was that wasn't mentioned on the menu and I don't like being labeled a cheapskate because I ordered water. We do go out on weekends or non work days and spend a little more. The waitress probably thought we were cheap because she didn't hear us order fries with it. We figured that one when they didn't come with our order. Now to the wings. Clearly they want to make this a little upscale, or try to differentiate themselves from other wings. They marinate 24 hours, dry rub, bake, deep fry, massage, and read poetry to their chickens before taking their wings. Ok, I am kidding a little bit. But they wouldn't score well on the authentic Buffalo wings scale, but they are good and their sauce isn't just another Franks or Anchor clone. Many people, including myself will like them on their own merits. The hot sauce is a proper heat level and is definitely unique. The fries when they came were fresh cut seasoned fries. I would have been happy with Fresh cut fries, but clearly this place was to be seen as something serving something a little more than just standard bar fare. The seasoning also was unique, it was good. We will be back again to try other appealing looking offerings. Next, I hope they re-do the parking lot. Our second visit here was a Friday night and a good local band was playing so we were outside in the patio area. Huge area, lots of good service. Only appetizers available outside, but that is ok. My only real complaint about this place is they try too hard to be just a little different. Almost everything on their menu is typical bar fare, but they seem to always have to add their own touch. Hello, I enjoy Harry Buffalo. I have recently been to Monday night Bingo the last several weeks. I am sad to say I will not go back on Mondays. I have witnessed and now have a video of the guy calling Bingo (I think his name is Rob) stealing money from the Bingo pot and putting it in his tip jar without being tipped. The food came out rather quickly. The wrap and fries looked like a generous serving. He said it was good. The salad was a little skimpy on lettuce amount - all iceberg. Saturday night during round 2 of March Madness so the place was packed. Parking can be a bit of a bear, but after circling the lot one time, found a spot. Upon entering found two open spots at the bar which was a win bc they provided awesome views of the televisions showing all the NCAA games. Service was friendly and prompt. Cannot beat the $2 Miller Lite bottle specials they had! Our food came out hot and delicious. My burger was fantastic and the waffle fries it came with were also very good. Wings are good. Didn't even get to eat there. I went there to eat with a pregnant friend who had half of a bottle of water with her. Right before we were about to walk to the patio, a man stops us and says "sorry no outside beverages. He whisked it out of her hands and threw it out." First off, of all of the people to be worried about bringing in outside alcohol, you're worried about someone who is pregnant? Second, how about saying "sorry, we don't allow outside beverages, but you are welcome to finish it before you go back or would you like to throw it out?" Third, how about just using common sense, making an exception, and saying "we know it's hot out and we aren't going to confiscate half a bottle of water from someone who is pregnant."
