Checked this place out for Sunday Brunch while I was killing time on the way to the airport. GORGEOUS location right on the Harbor with lots of seating. I had great service and sat in the covered outdoor area. The seafood nachos were huge and very tasty. I wish they had an option to add crab, but they were still very good. The mimosa is literally a glass of champagne with a juice side, so no complaints. Also, if you plan to have more than 2 mimosas, you should do bottomless it's a better value. I really enjoyed this place and would love to come back for karaoke which I'm sure would be a hoot. read more

The fried shrimp here are freaking HUMONGOUS! They were sooo sooo good!!! Seasoned to perfection and fried just right. Scott was our server and he was very personable and friendly. He made jokes and kept us laughing. We liked him quite a bit! I had my lil puppy with me and my boyfriend gave her a sausage out of his gumbo. She gobbled it up so fast bc she was hungry. Well we asked could we buy some and although we couldn't, Scott went above and beyond and gave us a lil sample cup of gumbo and it had 2 lil sausage pieces in it. Now how sweet was that???? This is my boyfriend's favorite restaurant here now and I have to agree with him. He had a seafood platter with fried grouper and shrimp. The bacon covering the shrimp is typical bacon but stuffed with okay crab meat and the shrimp is rubbery. I only ate one piece and said it's not worth it AT ALL. I had collard greens on the bottom and it tasted soooo salty like it's from the can. It's uncooked as well. Nothing can save this dish except a new chef or adjustment to the menu The trio dip - the tuna dip is probably the best one, with that saying... NOTHING is amazing or special to this dish. It's typical dips that is either too cheesy or typical spinach dip. Salsa is probably the best 2nd dip in the batch. Horrible, wouldn't recommend to anyone Service: We had Erik as our server with a helper but the helper was occupied with other services. The service areas were not too busy for an evening meal and he seemed very flustered with the service and it wasn't great after we ordered our drinks. They also placed a non-cash tax on our bill which was absolutely uncalled for and no heads up. He also stated that their card service was not working at the end of our meal so we are screwed. I easily found Harry T's right on the harborwalk and stopped in for an early lunch on a Saturday. To my surprise, I found an entire section reserved for the Univ. of Oklahoma Sooners Club of Destin. Boomer! Too early for the college football Saturday watch party, I settled in at a table overlooking the marina. Starting with bottomless mimosas, I really enjoyed the Wycliff Brut champagne. Usually bottomless means 90% oj and 10% champagne. Not here! My waiter would first fill the glass with champagne, THEN top it off with oj. I like it. The side salad was fresh and delicious. The fried shrimp platter was over the top. I didn't have to eat the entire platter. But, I did. And, I regretted it. Or did I? I guess it was actually worth the afternoon tummy ache because it was really good. The frozen cocktails were fantastic and hit the spot on a sunny day by the water. My seafood Fanta Sea search became a reality! Sadly it was our last night in Destin. I was still in search of a steamed seafood platter like the ones on the Travel channel. After perusing Yelp and Google reviews for an hour I begrudgingly decided on Harry T's. I only say that because of the pricey menu items. It was just before 5 and we were seated right away on the deck. We were going to order one of the smaller seafood combo platter so I ordered peeled shrimp and my husband got gumbo. Then my husband was possessed by Poseidon and suggested ordering the Fanta Sea. I was on board and glad we did. The crab legs, gulf shrimps and mussels were fresh. I liked that they were not shy with the old bay seasoning. The butter sauce the mussels were in had tasty old bay and garlic flavor. The platter was huge and loaded with large crab claws and Gulf shrimps. The mussels were smaller but still fresh. There was also 2 com cobs and potatoes. The cook must have forgotten a few shrimps because the waitress brought another small bowl full and mentioned they forgot to add the rest. Was it pricey? Yes, but they made it worth it. Adding scallops as part of the dish would even make it better. The $5 margaritas were also good. The bill was $166 without tip for 4 margaritas, chocolate milk (which was almost as much as the margs), side of fries, shrimp appetizer, and Fanta Sea. read more

Absolutely go here. I had the crab cakes that were amazing on top of delicious fried green tomatoes. I also had some of the fried cheese appetizer. I thought it would be like normal mozzarella sticks but it was sooo much better. I also tried my sisters mac and cheese with shrimp and it was amazing as well. We heard about the spectacular views at Harry T's ' and my wife and I decided to have our couples night out without the kids on vacation night dinner here yesterday evening. We decided to arrive for An early dinner as many of the best restaurants in Destin start piling up long waits pretty quick in the evening and we didn't want to get stuck in a long queue. We were surprised to have no wait and to get seated right away in the outdoor section overlooking the harbor and the bay bridge that connects Destin and Okaloosa Island. Our waiter was friendly but you could tell the restaurant was likely a bit understaffed for the crowds. He had been triple sat at once and despite the day you could feel his urgency in getting to each of the tables as best he was able. He delivered our tea to us and the tea just didn't have a freshly brewed taste. It had that 7 hour old + taste where It's just beginning to have a twang to it from becoming old. It wasn't horrible so we drank it anyway. The table finish had a bit of a tackiness to it and made skin contact with it a little uncomfortable. My wife decided on the stuffed shrimp and I decided on the combo platter with a cluster of crab added. It has been forever since I've had crab because so typically do not splurge when eating at a restaurant, but I made an exception this time. Our wait was not long at all and our food came out within 25 minutes. The portion sizes of our entrees were quite large. Neither of us could actually finish the meal, although we gave it the good ole college try. While I didn't sample any of her shrimp, my wife said her stuffed shrimp was really good. There was some kind of seafood crab cake type of filling with the shrimp that was wrapped in bacon. It came with a side of deliciously roasted Brussels sprouts. My combo platter was amazingly large and far more than what I imagine most people could eat. I think a couple could order this platter to share and neither would walk away feeling unsatisfied. The combo consisted of hand breaded fried shrimp and grouper strips (think chicken strips only with grouper rather than chicken), and a bed of fries. The grouper strip was delicate and really tasty. It went well with the house made tartar sauce. The cluster of crab legs was delivered in a pond of clarifier melted butter that had been well seasoned. The tools provided for the crab were suitable although I'm used to having a crab fork provided to help extricate the delicate crab meat from the shell and that was not included. The crab itself was simply divine. Which it should considering the cluster added about $30 to the cost of the meal. The waiter, while busy, was attentive and ensured everything was just right for us. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. It was a great view of the bay and harbor, all within immediate proximity of the wonderful Harbor Walk village. read more

I have to say that the best part of our experience was our server, Vicky, who kept our mimosa glasses full and our hearts warm.
