However, I called George and Jorge who allowed me to bring it in promptly and they test drove it, took the wheels off, listened to the wheel bearings, then also applied the breaks while spinning the wheel. This has greatly boiled down to the accident I was in, however, the break job I received at Coastal Foreign Auto (the shop who referred me to Suspension Plus for a sooner appointment for the bearings) was something they actually refunded me for. I also like that their center is in a quiet area of Carlsbad--so many tire places seem to be on the corner of an insanely busy intersection, so I appreciate how easy it is to pull into the lot at Chuck's. My most recent visit was for a tire that was losing air. Though they said it was challenging to find the hole at first--as it was so tiny--they persisted and repaired the area for a very reasonable price.
