Quick story..... went to a well known tire center for new tires. They recently started doing alignments so I had them check to see if I needed one. Their report showed that I very much needed an alignment, but they could not perform it because to do so required a part they did not have. They suggested I find the part, then they would perform the alignment. Hmmm. I checked Yelp to get another opinion and came across all these great reviews regarding Tony @ CMT Wheels. He got me in the next day, scratched his head over the previous place claiming I need this "part" , put my car on the rack and showed me that my car did NOT need an alignment at all. He could not explain how the previous place came up with their recommendation but that maybe they were just too new at it? Anyway, Tony did not even charge me despite taking time out of his busy day. Took my wheels here to get tires mounted and balance and also took my truck here to get an alignment after lifting. When I say I am OCD with things such as wheels getting scratched when tires get mounted I am as picky as it gets. Tony who owns the place not only got me a great deal on my tires mounted and balanced, he beat amazons pricing on the tires but he was also meticulous about the tire install. CMT was recommended to me by my mechanic, after I gave up trying to get Discount Tire to balance my tires correctly. They always seemed to be off 3 ounces or so, and when I complained, they rebalanced it, but all the others are always off an ounce or so. So I brought two cars to CMT after despairing of ever getting it right, and he did a phenomenal job on both. I don't think I've ever had tires so smooth on the highway, and his prices are reasonable.
